  I use a camera USB under LabView. So I have to implement some low level functions that happens in a provider dll. On the other hand, I have to use NOR-Imagdx function for identification. So far every part works without problem, while the cam provider uses a camera ID (integer value) to access the cam, Labview uses sessions to connect the cam.

  Question:

  -J' I need two parts for the low level functions AND the LV - fucntions in a vi. How can I connect the cam when the dll uses an ID of the Cam and the NOR-Imaqdx sessions? How can I "convert" or bring together the two parts of code?

  The short answer is: you can't.

  Unless the pilots IDS they allowed camera to be open simultaneously with their own SDK as well as via DirectShow (which uses the IMAQdx here) then the two cannot access the same device at the same time.

• Trails of the icon when switching between desktops in the Sierra

  I noticed some display problems since the update for Sierra. I see some trails icon when switching between desktop computers as well as a line of 1px of random colors on the right side of the screen seems to be leftover pixels for the desktop switch as well.

  I generally save my 2010 Macbook Pro to a 2012 Time Capsule, which is attached to my router via an ethernet cable (most recent) wireless. On a trip, I make the additional backups on an external hard drive. However, when I go home and try to return to the TC, my internal HD is now on the time Machine "Exclude" list and cannot be removed (greyed out). When I try to save, I get a message saying "no disks are available to back up."

  What has happened a few times, and the only solution I could find was to delete my original Time Machine backup and put a new (which took forever).

  Time Machine backups on a network drive or a disc attached locally stored in different formats. Switching between them was not in the overall theme of the design of this service of OS X.

  I suggest that you set up Time Machine to use multiple disks.

  FWIW, in my case, I backup destinations, Time Machine on a Time Capsule and an external hard drive of 2 bolt of lightning. When both are available, the time goes 'take turns' Machine backup on each drive.

  If a disk is not available, it backs up to that which is, and which ignores the backup of the other. When the two are connected again, backups continue on both.

  Apparently FireGestures doesn't support scrolling directly if you can't make it work. I have no local way to test it, because nobody doesn't know I have a mouse with a horizontal scrolling. FireGestures provides alternatives (I use the tab scrolling of line), however, and supports scripts , if you want to try to use the technical information provided by cor - el.

  One avenue would be to use the mouse like Logitech Setpoint or Microsoft Intellipoint software to set the scrolling to run the FF Ctrl + PgUp and Ctrl + PgDown hotkey combo. This would negate native scroll, however.

  In general, an Application that can open multiple windows provides a "Windows menu" you can choose the window you want.

  I changed the subject: config to make the rotation gesture to move between tabs and it worked great for well over a year. It now behaves properly, as described here:

  It used to be very controllable move a tab on, now it is erratic and moves quickly and the unexpected tabs regardless of the slowness, I do the gesture of rotation. It's the main reason I use Firefox on Chrome and I will continue to do so unless there is no solution for this.

  Just put the browser.gesture.twist.threshold to something around 15-25.
