  Can you give some details on the usage scenario/case you're trying to accomplish?

  There is no option to set a constraint on the number of subscribers. You wouldn't be limited, as is one of the reasons you would use a topic to build a scalable solution, i.e. to have flexibility to introduce additional subscribers without impacting existing publishers or consumers.

  If the intention is to restrict access to the topic, the best way would be to use a SSL based connection. This will allow you to share the credentials to consumers only planned.

• XControl publish subscribe?

  Hi all

  I'm trying to implement a publication if subscribe model messaging using XControls and LVOOP.

  I have various XControls that represent different views of the State of an object.

  I want all my (clients) XControl to be updated when the object (editor) changes its State.

  I realized this kind of functionality before using VI running in small groups waiting for a user created by the Publisher event.

  I understand the dynamic events are not available with XControls, for trying to create a list of customers XControl that may be notified by a method call XControl.

  I have found a way to inform individual customers by creating a method that triggers the ability to view state, but really want to manage all XControls as a collection.

  Can't a table to store the references to the XControls that each is a different type.

  I also tried using a reference value of data for each reference XControl, hoping that this generic type that can be stored in a table, but not joy.

  The only way I've found is for the main vi to register to the event user editor and then call the method of notification of each XControl explicitly.  This messes up the main vi and is not an elegant solution.

  Does anyone know a way to reach my desired features?

  A bad way - you can create a demon for every XControl who will register for the event and then use the Value property (sgnl) to trigger an event in the VI façade. See here for an example. You might also be able to do this with a single central demon, but I don't know if we can change the value of a control on the façade.

  I could not understand the question, but according to my knowledge, selector of JMS messages is static configuration and must have the exact value at the time of the design itself which is the way it currently works. What you're looking for is "way to assess the selection criteria based on the expression at the time of execution". I don't think that he is currently supported.

• AMQP: Messages blocked because of the message of unack'ed

  We took the library/AMQP samples/waiting for a message - changed, that it runs inside a loop, as we wish permanently if subscribe to messages in a queue of RabbitMQ. This is the behavior that we noticed:

  1 works very well for a long time without any problems for the following sequence of events:

  -publish the message to the queue (a customer outside)

  -vCO retrieves the message above

  -publish the message to the queue (a customer outside)

  -vCO retrieves the message above

  ...

  2 problem when there are multiple messages publishes both from outside:

  -publish say 10 messages in queue (a customer outside) - while the Subscriber is running inside vCO

  -vCO resumes the first message

  -vCO is blocked pending (although there are nine several messages waiting to be picked up)

  When I try to debug it via console RabbitMQ, I see that there is a message unack'ed that blocks all messages to be treated. Now when I do a "Force close connection" rabbitmq console, it moves more with maybe one or two messages more and then meet again with the same question.

  This isn't a problem when I run a publishing server and the Subscriber of the external vCO. I'm guessing that there is a problem with the part of the automatic acknowledgement in the AMQP plugin.

  Appreciate if you could look at what is the question. It is always reproducible at my end.

  It would be OK if I could score some messages to some consumers, and then consumers only recover these messages designated for them. But I don't think this is possible as such any flag, that the consumer would have to read once, it consumes the message and the bed, I don't think that there is a way for the queue to make this decision for them.
  
  So, it sounds like what I need is a hybrid point-to-point and publication / subscription
  
  I want a universal way to send messages to one or more consumers of conditionally, and the conditions are dynamic.

  You can do this with publish/subscribe and message filters. all consumers subscribe to this topic, but all of them use a filter such as (not exactly the syntax):

  "receiver_id = 'ALL' GOLD receiver_id = 'me" ".

  (where 'me' is unique for each subscriber). Then, you can broadcast to anyone with a message including the receiver_id property value 'ALL', or send a message to a specific Subscriber by setting the receiver_id this unique ID of consumers (you will need to send the message once for each consumer in this case). (you may be able to get away with a single message by receiver_id a list separated by commas and do something like "reciever_id LIKE" %, me, %' "", just make sure that your list separated by commas has commas at the ends).

  Hi thiagomatano,

  Sorry, but this cannot be done.  They are generated when an event occurs that causes an alert email based in part on how you setup your computer to get their.  They have not worked perfectly the last few months so that should be sent are not sent (or need a special solution to be able to get them).  Just out of curiosity, why do you need these alerts because the information is contained in the discussions of the forum and you can see the threads where you would get alerts in your profile (more to follow).

  To try to do what you are looking for, go to your profile by clicking on your name at the top of this page or next to your message.  Once there, which tab you choose depends on what you are looking for.  If it is a question or a thread where you clicked the button "Me Too", you can click on the tab for my Questions and see all the threads where you started the thread, or click this button to subscribe to the discussion.  Then you will have to, unfortunately, looking for thread by thread for positions that would have generated email alerts (essentially each answer after you have started the thread or after you have clicked on the button "Me Too").  Those who should have lead to alerts by e-mail and you can see if you can find what you're looking like that.  This is probably the best way to find these messages because it will probably the shorter list.  You also received messages to threads subscribed if a response on your part has been marked as an answer.  This could happen in one of your sons or another (if you use the button 'Me Too' for you to subscribe to the other thread).  There is no separate post of that - just a notation on your post that it was the answer.

  If it involves a response you made to a post in another thread and you have not clicked on the button "Me Too", so even if your profile may specify that you get alerts by e-mail, would not have obtained you their because this feature did not work during this period.  If you were using the "Me Too" to receive alerts, so they will be in the my Questions tab as well as in the discussions tab all (including each thread where you answered, your, Subscriber or not).  As I said, I do not think that you would have received alerts in e-mail any thread here which is not included in the Questions My tab - so I start there and ignore the other.

  Unless you have received a personal e-mail and private forum moderators or the owners, it's good enough emails only that you would have got the forums.  Emails do not contain anything that is not in the forums now for your son (even if they sometimes contain original answers and what currently exists may have been edited and edited responses are not returned and you don't see them in the net - but the final version is what you want anyway).

  I'm sorry, but return all of these e-mails is not something offered or available through these forums.  They can be stored (I don't know and I don't know for how long), but even if that's true, it's probably not in a way that the forum can reasonably accommodate such a request.  And the forum can not re - treat all these threads to regenerate new emails either (well, it might be possible, but it is not available or offered).

  I hope you find what you want or need following the process above and checking your history of thread.

  Sorry, we can't help you with this request, but it is not just something the forums offer or that there is (if it is even possible at all).

  P.S. According to your e-mail program and your operating system and how make you backups as well as if you save e-mail messages on the server but also to download (or pass them on to another location or program for any reason any (some people do this to gain access to information both at home and at work)) It may be possible to recover.

  It is also possible that a specialist in data recovery can recover your system (although it is generally very, very expensive and there is no guarantee - you pay the even if they recover all or any of them).

  But the starting point review these recovery options is the forum above - changed for your operating system - link and post the question there (not if the forum can send emails - what is going to happen, but if they can help recover you lost - e-mails which accomplishes the same thing in the end, but in a different way) and then follow their advice.

• in newsgrps have more than 1 million no read and not downloaded files-Clean Up does not.

  in newsgrp, have file w/over million posts not downloaded, someone, long ago, I suppose. So far, I could post & clear, shows, all were read. But more vccan can't post. I tried the Clean Up program, but who does that for downloads, these have not been downloaded. I would like to remove this file newsgrpup and re-subscribe as a new post, I can not just delete, delete or clean all including messages NOT DOWNLOADED.  Can help you, or what you do more need I haved XP SP 3.   Unsubscribe the newsgroup. In tools | Options | Read, uncheck the box: get x headers at a time. Close and open OE and re-subscribe. This will download all messages on the server of the discussion group.
