Substantive issues of color!
I have problems to display work after you apply a new background color. The work was originally black, but changed to white before the change of context. I replaced it with a white background by default a black background. My work does not display in the dark. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but please help! IM new to the program and trying to teach me. All the generals/shortcuts tips would be also greatly appreciated.
Looks like this could be a problem of overprinting. First, check your work in the overprint preview. If everything that needs to be white looks black, it is most likely that when you changed from black to white you forgot to remove overprinting. Control Panel.

can someone help me with the problem?

This code is not correct:
graphics.drawBitmap (0, 0, _cellh.getWidth (), _cellh.getHeight (),)
_cellh, 0, 0);You must use the value of y that is used as a location there for painting of the Bitmap.
graphics.drawBitmap (0, _cellh.getWidth (), _cellh.getHeight (),)
_cellh, 0, 0);This change must be repeated in many places.

Dell U2413/U2713H (or maybe Windows 8) issue of color management
Hello guys!
I am an excessive user of Photoshop / graphic designer and I just bought Dell U2413 to obtain, in combination with my graphics card Nvidia Quadro K2000, a true wide range/10-bit working environment of color which is very important for what I do. (Nec or Eizo was not an option because I've already spent so much money on other materials and I opted for Dell because I heard it is the best display in this price range - in my country, with taxes, it cost me 566 EUROS).
Previously, I was working on iMac for almost a decade then separate pieces of hardware or Windows operating system was a new (and, I must admit, pretty scary) territory for me. However, after everything has been put in place, I tried to calibrate my monitor for the first time and then I was very unpleasantly surprised! Namely, I have X-Rite i1 Display colorimeter Pro and some optional software for it (ColorEyes display Pro and baslCColor display 5 was much better/appropriate for me because of their L * option for TRC so I never used it original i 1 Profiler is a software which is a LOT less than the previous two compering), but because Dell in it's manual said to use a calibration color UltraSharp Solution software is exclusively I decided to give it a go and try with it. But, to my (as I already said, very unpleasant!) surprise, I was EVEN less of i1 Profiler which, as I have said, was never an option for me.
Not the end of the world, I thought, I'll re - calibrate it with ColorEyes Display Pro and everything goes well. But, after doing so, my unpleasant surprise become even more unpleasant, when I discovered that no matter what profile I chose in Windows Color Management and press "Set as default", nothing happens - my screen remains the same! The only way I can get a color change is if I create a profile using Windows built in utility. Profiles created in this way change the appearance of the screen, but all the profiles downloaded or created make no difference. And now I literally don't know what to do... The worst thing only of this, I can't blame WHO:
1 Dell - that has a 'high end' view gives you ONLY a few factory presets + 2 custom profiles (Cal1 and Cal2) made by software calibration nowdays more inferior and useless;
2. Windows 8 - who did a terrible color management which, in the same way, not a color at all management;
3. me - who is unable to see put in place something that is more than simple & obvious?THANKS in ADVANCE for everyone is willing to help me solve this question and forgive me for a long (and perhaps confusing-) as you can say English is not my language kindergarten post!
First of all if you use the eyes color pro with GBLED and i1DisplayPro and you're not invited to a sort of spectral correction for your type of backlight screen, you're hurting. No matter how visually pleasant it is, the profile is not accurate, playing WYSIWYB (what you see is what you believe) not WYSIWYG.
Second, unless you have purchased/updated Basiccolor Display 5 after may 2013 (NEC GB LED suppor for PA242W, 5.1.2 version) with GBLED and i1DisplayPro, its measures are wrong, no matter how nice of calibration is.With your questions:
You have 6 presets:
-CAL1/CAL2, please read questions configuration on the Dell color calibration Solution in this instance. Please install the latest version 1.0.1.0 (67MB) and disable all color adjustments in yor GPU nvidia (bright colors, digital vibrance... all OFF). Most of us use in Windows 7 without problem (after a few configuration settings: spectal correction for GBLED files)

http://en.community.Dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3529/t/19517601.aspx
etc.
-Factory-sRGB/AdobeRGB which are probably with a white point off the coast of the D65, recalibrate in GPU LUT with ArgyllCMS/DisplayCal. Works very well.
-Standard with a usually arround WP 7000 K (native GBLED WP), if calibrated in GPU LUT with ArgyllCMS/DisplayCal ' nearest the locus of the daylight "of your native WP should give about your contrast of 1000: 1. It is perhaps unnecessary to your workflow, but it is better to know it.
-Custom, native, fully customizable range WhitePoint, blackpopint and luminance of D50 D70 and beyond.
Work with color management applications just you Custom, CAL1 and CAL2.You may have a problem with Windows (from Windows Vista from) color management. By default, Windows does not allow profiles (but applications can) rewriting GPU LUT of calibration. You need to configure.
In W8, it's done:
-From the right panel-> Search-> color management
-Go to the tab advanced options
-Click on "change default settings...". ', the button down with administrator privileges.
-Go to the tab advanced options in this new window
-Toogle check buton (bottom) "windows use on screen calibration" (sorry I don't have an English version of Windows and I don't know the exact text)
-Reload button calibrations (bottom)
-Close
-Go to the "Devices" tab and select your screen in the upper drop-down list
-check the box "use my record for this device".
-Select your profileYour screen SHOULD be the same printer Dell preset OSD in which this profile was created, without other changes in contrast or brightness.
If enabled, please disable the "AUTO" mode in the Dell Display Manager tray icon, use the manual mode with "enhanced video" (last tab) OFF.BTW and I know that this is not your case, but without workflow 10bits or gamma in 3DLUT (NECs & eizos) L * gamma calibration is not necessary.
For those who have worn with 8-bit or DA better sRGB gamma CRT and let Photoshop or GIMP color management to make corrections for images ECIv2 (or with similar profiles of gamma)

I have a few side nav Articles that do not show the background color. Can't understand why.
http://www.aptcoweb.com/dev/aptcoFluid/
In addition, 3 divs near the bottom with the class of pass don't float. What is the problem here?
In content, css near line 129 Add the highlighted
. Side {}
text-decoration: none;
Display: inline-block;
border: 1px start #FFF;
Width: 110px;
margin: 0 15px 15px 0;
do-size: 14px;
color: #FFF;
make-weight: bold;
background: #0d2b88;
padding: 5px;
}
apply the class to the list item (LI) and not to the anchor (A) element. After that, you pay for the text decoration and the color of the font as in
. Side a {}
text-decoration: none;
color: #FFF;
}
It's probably and idea to then adjust to the hover events etc.
For floats, remove the fluid as in class

White text "BOLD" on the issues of color block?
Hello world
This may seem like a simple question, but I have problems creating a PDF document that contains the "BOLD" white text on colored blocks? Surprisingly, plain white text (normal text with paper as a character Style color) print on a block of dark color. But the problem occurs with the bold or bold italic (just character style "BOLD" thing). Really do anything "BOLD". Now, if I save it in jpeg format, then everything prints fine. My document is in mode overlay that lists problems related to the characters of the white text on colored blocks. By default, all white color have overprinting uncheck and grayed out. So, I'm unable to handle it.
Any ideas on how I can get the white text "BOLD" (character Style) to print to a PDF file instead of create JPEGs of each document and then bring them together into a PDF file?
Thanks for any help. Happy holidays.
OK, so he put for overprinting in some way. It is VERY difficult to achieve in the ID, but it is easy to import the white text in Illustrator which is set to overprint. The only way that I know so he can get to text ID native, is however effects or blending modes, self check the effects Panel...

Substantive issue, thanks in advance!
For more investigation.
I have now 3 columns. Because I wanted to be a pest at the bottom of the page to inswert 120 x 120, I created a set of pictures cropped color blocks or studio photos... This is actually a beautifully designed thing. The blocks perfectly in them.
But this sort of caused a question 'low '. I had to change the width of my columns above (hehe)
So my gradient in the middle column background... is being confined to the edges of the cell.
The cell is 360 pixels wide. The gradient background is 400 pixels wide... I want to get the gradient to cross the left and right sides of other cells limiting.
Is this possible?
Reference site:
http://www.prodigypianostudios.com
Thank you very much.
Another idea is to add the white of the image itself, not of the cultures and then apply it to the background, to deceive dreamweaver thinking there are a lot of white, which will always show the gradient of color that I need in the right place.
Yes, if this is the desired effect.
Unless there is an easier way to do this?
Easier is not always better. Gradient CSS level 3 property has limited support of the browser. To date, this method only works in WebKit & Mozilla based browsers.

Newbie question: Issues of color!
I just started working with Flash. I worked on an assignment and for the life of me, I can't understand why the color and fill do not appear when I do a form in Flash! I don't know what the problem is, I follow every instructions on forms and color is never just an outline of the shape in the color of the layer (light green). What's wrong? Any suggestions? Thank you!

substantive issue rose in the PS3
Hello
Whenever I open a photoshop file, I get a pink background that covers the parts of the canvas which would otherwise white (or another color) due to a layer of solid color, used as background layer (or rather, more than the bottom layer). I've never had this problem before and use the same copy of photoshop for months. I have not modified the parameters, but nevertheless held down ctrl + alt + shift and apparently deleted the file parameters in hope, if the resolution of this problem. but I still get the pink background. This is a quick fix to redo a layer of solid color or even remove the pink background (although it is not yet a certain layer... I can just magic wand she and delete) but whenever I open the file, the pink background reappears.
This happened to someone else? any help would be appreciated.
You have active quick mask. Press Q to turn it off.

Hi all
I remove a background to make a professional portrait for a friend. Unfortunately, I don't have any professional lighting so the pixel image is not as crispy as I would like. What is the best way to eliminate the background when there is there hair? I can afford but I thought I would ask other pros.
Thank you
What version of Photoshop are you running? If later, use the Quick Selection tool to make a selection of General and Select and mask refine brush on board to clean the area of hair.
You need not necessarily lights professional to get a good shot. Try to put two good home lamps 45 ° on each side of the subject and a nice background. The background could be a blanket to your bed.

iOS, restoration of the substantive issue
Hi all
I am developing a mobile application of AIR using Starling 2.x and 3.x of feathers. When I publish the app on my iPad and place it in the 'context', by pressing the double home button and selecting the application once again, when it is restored, it seems to be charging. Anyone has any ideas, please, why this is happening?
Thank you
Dave
Make sure that you do not UIApplicationExitsOnSuspend. Find out how would you use that here:

I did a background 1600 px x 300 wide hight and I wanted to a fixed position on the top of my body...
my screen resolution is 1024 x 768, and I see that half of this background image...
I want the background image to adapt automatically to all the resolutions?
is it possible to make this work?
HTML {}
background: url(_images/background.jpg);
margin: 0px;
padding: 0;
}
{body
do-family: "Tahoma, sans-serif, serif;
font-size: 101.01%;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
background: top of no repeat fixed Center url(_images/header.png);
}If you try to make your image of 1600 x to fit a 1024 resolution, you must put in a JavaScript to detect the res screen and do call a picture 1024 x. You should be able to find it with a quick search.
Insofar as your code
{body
background-image: url (images/your image.png);
background-repeat: repeat no.;
background-attachment: fixed;

Questions about a range wide screen color
I have a range wide screen, and I experienced issues in color between color, management applications, and those who do not have color (like IE, or even the OS Win itself - displaying icons etc.).
I calibrated the epic screen with Spyder and applications that manage the color work fine, but when I view the same images in Internet Explorer or windows default viewer, I get oversaturated colors.
I discovered that this is because the default system uses sRGB as the color profile, so when an Adobe RGB profile equivalent is sent to the value default sRGB - system based, it "compresses" the colors with the result the supersaturation.I found a frame that I think should be the case (see the screenshot attached), but it makes no difference when going to "wide gamut RGB", nor the monitor profile (which is also wide gamut).
Could you please tell if there is a way to set up in Windows 7 if the colors are displayed correctly in the managed without color applications?
Under color management, the device profile has the default value of the system (sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1)
Hi Helen,
Different types of devices have different color characteristics and capabilities. For example, your monitor may display the same color scheme that can reproduce a printer. This is because each device uses a different process to produce color content. Scanners and digital cameras have different color characteristics. Even different programs sometimes interpret and process colors differently. Without a consistent color management system, the same image can look different on each of these devices.
I suggest you try the steps from the following link and see if that helps.
Change color management settings

6 Lightroom "ghosts of color in the pictures developed?
I recently downloaded Lightroom 6 to update my 5 Lightroom, I had. I noticed in some pictures developed that I go back either in files or collections that it has multi color ghosting in the areas. Sometimes it takes a minute or two for the photo fix completely, sometimes this is not matter how long wait. Here are the large areas of non-relevant color around the edges of objects in picture. Any ideas?
TIA, Don
Thanks for the update.
In this scenario, I suggest you try to work on your images in the develop module.
In my view, that the issue of color was due to the incompatibility of your graphics card with Lightroom 6.
It would be better that you do not enable this option as it says "disabled due to errors" and Yes, you will get the full benefits if this will remain switched off.

Hello. I'm trying to find the names of the colors that I applied the color sample that I used. I read something that said you could indicate the names by issuing the color separations. I don't see how to do this in ss12. How give the color separations? Or y at - it an easier way to identify the names of color, I used? Thank you.
Here I used the Eyedropper to sample the green color of the bird at the top center. It comes to the foreground color.
Now, I clicked on the foreground color chip to bring up the color picker, and can read the R, G, B values and hexadecimal code. Copy the code next, if you keep track of it, will allow you to reset the color of foreground for use later.
