Subsystem spooler stopping constantly
When I start the system on that I get a message the Spooler subsystem stopped and was closed by windows. I can't print and even when you start the print spooler stops as soon as I try to print.
How can I fix this spooler?

I suggest you try the steps mentioned below.
Check the Print Spooler Service
If you see an error message about the print spooler, Spooler subsystem or spooler resources, you may need to change, and then restart the print spooler service on your computer.
To change or restart the print spooler service
You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.
1 open administrative tools by clicking the theStart button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Administrative Tools.
2. double-click on Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. right click on the print spooler service, and then click Properties.
4. on the general tab, next to startup type, make sure that automatic is selected.
5. If the service is not already running, under Service status clickStart, and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Thanks for the recommendation to use the FIX IT utility. When running it I get the same message, and it reports that it is unable to solve the problem.
You ask "exactly when the problem happens" it happens 3 times at the start and at any time an application wants to check on the spooler.
I don't know if the subsystem spooler itself is damaged or if anything is damaging the spooler when starting.
I asked McAfee to watch. They said that my Virus Scan is not installed correctly and had me download and reinstall a new version of the anti-virus. I did a full scan last night that completed without encountering any problems.

I have a HP that I loaded Busenss Vista suite of crush drive with XP Pro. Use HP Vista recovery disks supplied with the computer. Last week the user is said to have received the error "spooler subsystem app stopped working. the spooler stops and I would need to manually restart it. I put the properties to resrt after 1 minute. A bad solution as the best. User if dosen't care she will be restrat if its offline when it is needed. I have treid several tips on the internet without success.
Does anyone have experience with this and a real solution?

1. have you done any change in software on the computer lately?
Please check if you face the same problem when recording in safe mode. It is a possibility that one of the non-Microsoft application or driver is causing this issue. Start in safe mode and make sure that us. If you are able to start properly in safe mode, we can perform a clean boot in order to find the root cause.
Step A.
a. restart your computer.
b. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows 7 Advanced Startup Options.
c. using the arrow keys, select the desired option of Mode without failure.
d. press the Enter key on your keyboard to start in safe mode of Windows 7 with networking.
e. when Windows starts, you will be at a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Windows 7 goes into safe mode.
f. do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.
Step B.
If it works fine in safe mode try performing a clean boot in order to find the cause root.
