  I bought a license for CS6 PS several months ago. It worked fine on my old computer. I just got a new computer. So I disabled the copy I had on the old machine and uninstalled as well.

  Sounds like your CS6 serial number is an upgrade, not a full version.

  I have used InDesign Cs5.5 on PC, created an epub, unzipped to edit html and css and rezipped code. When I put it in the validator I got these warnings: -.

  If you do not want to include embedded fonts make you that there is not a folder of fonts included, remove all references to fonts that InDesign may be resumed in the content.opf file. Finally, open the container.xml file. InDesign inserts sometimes here for embedding fonts. Remove all references to fonts and you must pass the epubchecker without warnings from the police.

  I have Windows XP, SP3.

  This update (KB2419632) that successful shows in the history of Windows Update for January 13, 2011.

  However, he was not in the list of updates in Add or remove programs.

  Will restart and rerun MGADiag and post just in case it is useful.

  Either way, before all this I found the stand alone KB971033, downloaded and installed successfully, rebooted, but it does NOT appear in my updates installed yet!  In does not appear in the recent history of updates.
