  • Windows Live Movie Maker cannot read a particular DVD title while Windows Media Player and VLC can.

I use WL Movie maker to convert DVD titles/chapters/files .vob in a readable WMV format for consumption on my Windows Phone for later viewing. The DVD is open and has no right of use of media and every other title/chapter on the disk except for this one, I've converted using Movie Maker.

Windows Media player and VLC Media player can read without problem. Can I also hidden the specific section (and high school) with Divx Plus Converter in Divx format, but Movie Maker can not identify/read the article and simply extract 14-minute shows with nothing in it, even though it has about 25 minutes. Video player can read more about the chapter that is the second vob related file in the section.

I feel it is a problem with Movie Maker and its algorithms have encountered a scenario where he lost his mind, because I have to kill the Movie Maker, because never happens to expire.

Is this something where I can send a copy of the image to MS to get trying to fix an error reported to Microsoft Connect, or this there something I can try locally?

Format Factory free software may be worth trying to convert the VOB to WMV file.

Update... There is a small chance that WLMM accepts your. VOB file if you rename
    it to MI/GAL.

    Disconnect all USB storage.

Run this tool by do right click and choose 'run as administrator '.

Of course, all first extract it:

  • When I place a disc in my CD - DVD player, it says that it cannot read the media.

I use a Windows 7 computer and everytime I put a DVD in the drive, it says that it cannot read the disk media. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it, I also tried the Player update. The computer realizes that the drive is in the computer, but it will not play any DVD or CD. Anyone know how I can get running without having to disassemble the computer?

Clean the disc with a DVD cleaning disc, available in most stores and retail businesses.  If this fails so that the reader has probably not and must be replaced.

  • DVD player doesn't read the Windows 7 restore disk

    Hello

I just bought a Samsung NP350V5C-A02UK laptop and I'm having problems with the DVD player.

It will read most discs that I put in it except the Samsung OS restore disc that came with it.

I've also downloaded an iso file of Win7 (64 bit), and created an installation of this use of the DVD disc, but then the laptop could not check the disk.

I have attached a USB DVD drive to the laptop and he could read the Samsung OK restore disc is one that makes me think of a problem with the DVD player.

In Device Manager, the DVD drive is listed as:

    IDE\CDROMTSSTCORP_CDDVDW_SN-208BB___SC00___\4&32B8AC6E&0&0.1.0

Can someone help before I have send the laptop return it for a refund?

    (1) is the specific question of the images?

    (2) where the images are on the computer?

You can try the following methods and check the status of the issue.

    Method 1:

Configure the computer to clean start State to check software conflicts. See the following link on how to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    Method 2:

If the problem is specific to the pictures folder, then it might be a problem with permission. You can try to take ownership of the folder and check if you can transfer it. read the following article.

  • Windows cannot read the disk in drive c.

I recently bought 5 blank DVDs to burn files, but when I put the disk, it showed no AutoPlay, even if I check suggestions asking me every time, but when I double click on the CD player, it says this message, "Windows cannot read the disk in drive c." can someone help me with this problem?

Not all DVDs are the same, there are many different types and some DVD players may require a particular type

If the DVD is blank has nothing to read, that it is not formatted/prepared

With a dvd in the drive, in Solution Explorer, select a file, rt-click and select send to DVD, it works

Windows 7 64 bit, cannot install the driver for bluetooth devices for my Motorola Droid Razr periferical. When troubleshooting try to apply the fix, after trying, it ends with a message this problem "not set"...

I finally found the help on my own. Download and install Windows Mobile Device Center. After installation, you'll swear that nothing has been installed, but there is a. The download says it's for Vista, but it also shows Winkdows 7 under system requirements. This is from the download I used.

Go in Device Manager for each item under the heading Bluetooth with an asterisk, double-click it. Click the tab drivers, then put to update driver. Browse my computer..., let me pick from a list... Under manufacturer, select "Microsoft Corporation". Under model, click on "Windows Mobile-based device support", and then click Next. Click 'YES' in the driver warning window. Windows will now update the driver, and he will tell you, he did it with success!

This solved my problems. Good luck with yours.
