Suddenly missing NTLDR

Hello it's me again

OK you can noticed that I had some problems with my old Aspire E380 after taking advice and suggestions, I woke up this morning to a computer that worked like a well-oiled machine.

I watch videos and then shut down my computer in the usual way to go to lunch. Feeling good food I sat in front of my computer to watch more videos.

I turned it on and... an error on black screen came "Missing NTLDR Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart" there is no warning this can happen if last turn he took nothing unusual has happened so what could corrupt it?

I find myself completely unable to start the computer now, I have read some of the search suggestions and tried Ctrl + F10 at startup to the top, but nothing happened...

Any suggestions?

You can try to diskpart, and then type list volume.

The c: drive letter is also the XP disc?

Lets assume that it is. (You can list the contents of the drive in courses and folder with the "dir" command)

You should be able to view the content of the root '-' folder and the "\windows" folder

On the repair of type Console:

    1 c: , then cd-(now we are at the root of drive c :)

2 attrib - r s h ntldr (this will create the file ├a suppressible State)

3 del ntldr (deletes the file)

Change the attributes to ntdetect.com and delete it.

Now, try to copy the two files from the CD to c: drive again

You can use the command "fixboot c:" and fixmbr to repair the system partition boot sector, and the Table of primary Partition if you cannot always start after you copy the ntldr and ntdetect.com files

  • HP Desktop 400 G1 MT / Missing NTLDR

My new office 400 GT MT has four USB ports on the back.   Two are used to the keyboard and mouse.  I wabt using one of the other two empty USB ports which are in the rear for an external hard drive, like I did my old p6130y of Pavilion.

However, when I do this, the 400 office attempts to Boot on the external hard drive.  ?!?!

Received error message: attempt to boot from the USB device.  NTLDR is missing.

This may seem like not a big deal - just use one of the USBs fromt - but I want set and forget the HD position which is always accessible and I don't want that it always stick to the front of the unit.

Old computer has Win 7 Pro.

Office 400 has Win 7 Pro.

The problem only occurs when you use the back USBs for the HD position.

Can it be fixed by adjusting some sort of setting in?

    Thank you.

Yes - disable "start the system from removable media" should solve the problem you are experiencing.  Even if the hard drive is not normally removable, since it is an external connection, it would be considered a removable media.

  • My connection to the Local network is suddenly missing

    Hello

Suddenly, I found I can't access my LAN port because I can't found the option to connect to the Local network in network and sharing Center. I also looked in Device Manager, but there is also the LAN card is missing. I don't know why it's happening. The only change I made is configured LAN properties as set as--> advanced--> liaison & duplex speed--> 100 Mbit/s/full duplex. Although I don't know if it has nothing to do with my lack of LAN option, but that's the only change that I made before I see my LAN is missing. then I reinstalled my windows 7 with the hope that it will be recovered, but after the installation of a new windows 7 the problem still persists and also I am very sure that my operating system windows 7 is all ok to install all drivers base because I used the same OS disk for countless times.

Kindly help me how to solve this problem, because I can't use any Ethernet connection in my computer.
    Thanks in advance...

The total absence of the adapter is a hardware problem.  Is this a desktop or a laptop? If Office on the motherboard or card adapter?  If it is a laptop or onboard there may be an option to enable / disable in the BIOS which might be worth checking out.

  • Subset of files stored on the hard drive suddenly missing in LR

My photos are stored on an external hard drive. My LR catalog is on my computer (a Macbook Pro). I upgraded LR 5 to 6 a month ago. No problems. I use LR a lot, and when I leave, I always save the catalog.

For reasons that I don't understand not at all, Lightroom is suddenly not showing all records dating from February 2016 photo. That is, the pictures I imported before then are all present and reported in detail. But all the pictures I imported (and published!) of February at the present time are missing from the library. I checked the hard drive and the image files are still there.

Of course, I don't want to re - import the missing photos (in thousands of them) and lose all my changes.  And I can't ask to Lightroom to find missing photos because they do not appear in the library. I am so at a loss for what to do.

I'll never be able to understand what has happened to the latest version of the catalog, but I opened an earlier version and all missing records reappeared. I'm very relieved. I lost only a handful of changes.

  • Suddenly missing Bluetooth

Recently, I buy the laptop HP G62-a21SA, the specification of the system indicated there is bluetooth on the system.

This worked well for about a month, yesterday when I turn on the computer. I noticed the bluetooth suddenly not working do not, because I use the bluetooth mouse.

I checked the Wireless Assistant, Bluetooth is no longer listed here to turn.

I checked the Device Manager, bluetooth therein is gone too, I'm trying to scan its not registered new hardware and cannot find new hardware.

I was trying to turn the button wireless, but stilll not re-turn/mentions the computer bluetooth.

I try to check the BIOS, the bluetooth CF line is listed without number.

I've been perfectly how to get bluetooth back on or listed tower / work in 64-bit Windows 7?

    Anyhelp would be very thanksful.

Let me better than my previous post password.

    Basiclly the situration is:

Laptop come with 2070 Boardcom driver installed and include in the Recovery Manager tools.

However, the bluetooth of my model module is the bluetooth driver integrate HP, NOT boardcom 2070 pilot, as boardcom 2070 is one that have the map combo WLAN & bluetooth.

Use boardcom 2070 driver on the hp bluetooth module integrate, cause unstable result and bluetooth module overheats.

If overheated, the bluetooth module will not detect in BIOS/Device Manager.

If this isn't the case, overheating, it will come back as unknown usb devices. If it is very cold, it will detect and work.

After the driver installation to integrate HP Modules, all these problems have disappeared. BIOS/device manager able to find the bluetooth, the computer generates less heat.

If the cause is 2070 boardcom driver, which would cause the bluetooth module overheating. But not quiet sure, why the laptop has been this driver installed by default when purchase and does not include the HP rider integrate you.

Hope that this summary the cause of the problem and solution you.

Two days ago my PC refuses to start and I got the error NTLDR not found. Press CTRL ALT DEL to restart. My computer got only SATA hard drives and these are not detected by my Windows XP CDROM for a reboot to CD. The system reports no disk found.

I am able to get my PC running using the HIRENS boot disk. This isn't a permanent solution and I need help to get back on track again.

Can I just start my PC using HIREN and then insert the Windows CDROM and use the following commands at the CMD window BACK line?

    COPY C: X:i386NTLDR
    COPY C: X:i386NTDETECT.com

Where X is the letter of the CD ROM drive

Then restart my PC and this work? I don't want to ruin my system so I need some advice please.
