Swf flash not working not when it is embedded in html.

Hi all

I am a newbie to Flash.

I'm trying to do is a simple swf with a set of icons of social media like facebook, twitter, youtube, etc.

I could do in flash using the png as buttons icons and I wrote script action to navigate to the respective Web sites, when you click on each button.

Everything works fine if I run it from Flash as an swf object (ctrl + enter). When I click on the social media icons, the respective websites are opened in the browser.

However, if I incorporate this swf in html format, the animation of the buttons work, but sites do not open. I used the code to integrate my swf in html below:

< div id = "flashContent" align = "center" >

< object classid = "clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width = "369" height = "100" id = "social_media" align = "middle" > "

Help, please.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Ned,.

I tried again by the incorporation of the flash and html on the server download object, and surprisingly, it works now... Maybe that I would have ruined the location of the file in my first test.

Thanks for your answers.

  • swf flash cs6 pro file does not work in dreamweaver or chrome

    Hey there,

    Apologies extreme if this issue has already been raised in the forum, I wasn't able to find it by searching.

    I created a slide show in Flash Professional CS6 and published in format swf for Flash Player 11.6 and Action Script 3.

    It presents a fine Preview in flash player. However, when I insert the slideshow in my page Web in Dreamweaver CS6 (Using the Insert-> media-> SWF command) the content does not load mode live view, or it asks me to download and install the latest version of the flash player... That I have and have done so several times now.

    In addition, when I save the document and previsualisez in my web browser (tried it on Firefox, Chrome and IE9) just slideshow comes up empty space. Flash content is always there, as when I right click in this contextual menu flash space rises.

    My question is what is the problem with my slide show? Are there known problems of Flash Pro CS6 cause this behavior? How can I solve this?

    TL; dr My built in Flash Pro CS6 swf slideshow does not work in a browser.

    WHOWWW...

    for Flash Player 11.6

    Back down to as little a possible version... 10 or more if possible.

    My advice... never... never target the latest version of the plugin... most of the users will NOT have this plugin installed.

    Down and if that doesn't work, post a link to the Web page.

    Best wishes

  • Works well in the preview of Flash, but not when the server!

    OK my Flash animation tests and works well on I publish Preview in Flash, but when I upload it to the server it does not work as it is supposed to. is there a way to debug or trace what happens while it is running?

    Details:

    I have 113 tcname_1 of dynamic text-> tcname_113 field names

    I have 113 buttons named button_1-> button_113

    The dynamic text boxes get their data to a file named trees1.txt

    I tried to change three of the text boxes to use device fonts, but has not made a difference

    Here is my code AC3:

    I have 113 buttons.

    }

    again is it works fine when publish Preview in Flash, but not on the server. the text does not show the server when I hover over the buttons!

    You can see that to:

    www.myblueranch.com/index2.html

    Do you notice something that I did wrong? is it possible to debug while on the server?

    Thank you very much.

    Layth

    When I see her in IE8 and Firefox 3.6.8 I see text, although in Firefox the text sometimes does not appear.  But I attribute not this program does not, but even more to what appears to be insufficiently size textfields.  What you need to do is set the property to autoSize to the textfields.

    I created a movieclip that contains the button and the textfield and use that instead of 113 separate instances of both.

    In all cases, you should be able to get the Flash debug player so that you can see this error occur during playback in the browser (http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html).  Although you won't find may not be any errors, fair textfields that are not the big enugh to display their text.

  • Command button in SWF imported in another Flash NOT to work!

    Hi all

    I've created an Animation that contains control buttons such as Play, Pause and stop to control the animation. everything works fine when I run this on its own flash animation.

    When I try to import this flash animation in another flash by using the following code, the animation plays very well, but non of the buttons is functional.

    MovieClip.prototype.drawRect = function (x, y, w, h) {}
    this.beginFill (0xFF0000, 100);
    this.moveTo (0, 0);
    this.lineTo (0 + w, 0);
    this.lineTo (0 + w, 0 + h);
    this.lineTo (0, 0 + h);
    this.lineTo (0, 0);
    this.endFill ();
    This ._x = x;
    This ._y = y;
    };

    this.createEmptyMovieClip ("mc6", 6);
    MC6. LineStyle (3, 0 x 000000, 100);
    MC6.drawRect (-330, -180, 100, 100);
    MC6._xscale = 100;
    MC6._yscale = 100;
    loadMovie("..) / products.swf ', mc6);

    Can someone tell me where I am wrong and how I can fix this problem?

  • Flash file works great as a .swf on desktop but falls when published as a .apk

    My flash file works great as a SWF on the desktop but falls when published as an apk. When I run the application, the start menu appears as it should, but the Start button does not work. The trouble is that credits button works fine... «I also won an error warning that says: "" warning: library path "$(AppConfig) / ActionScript 3.0/libs/11.0/textLayout.swc" is not resolved to a valid file.» " Told me that maybe I had not clicked on"merged into code"but after trying it, it doesn't seem to change anything. Anyone have any ideas?

    Here are the files that I use.

    Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Note: just realized that I am also a separate warning on the publication that says: "Warning: Application has not specified its requirements for authorization in application.xml"

    I just had this problem with an older file created in Flash. If you go to file > settings ActionScript... Animate will open the Advanced ActionScript 3.0 settings dialog box. Below the initial settings, you will see 3 tabs: Source path, library path and Config constants. Click the library path. He'll show CFCS and ANE files or folders. Select each line, and click the sign - off. When I published again, I don't have the error.

  • Slider component does not not when loading another swf file

    I have a simple Flash app that uses a Slider to increase or decrease the size of text in a TextArea (ta). It works perfectly well on its own, however, when I try to load the SWF from another application, I get the following error...

    ReferenceError: Error #1069: Property fl.managers:IFocusManager::form not found
    on fl
    .managers.FocusManager and there is no default value.

    Code of...

    import fl.events.*;
    import flash.text.TextFormat;

    ta
    .text = "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet";

    var tf:TextFormat = new TextFormat();
    tf
    .color = 0xCCCCCC;
    tf
    .font = "Trebuchet MS";
    tf
    .size = 12;

    slider

    }

    function sliderChange(e:SliderEvent):void
    {
        tf
    .size = slider.value;
        ta
    .setStyle("textFormat", tf);
    }

    Pourrait swf file containing I'm loading the SWF of cursor indeed anyway demand of cursor? I do not understand why it works on its own, but not when loaded from another application.

    Add a component slider in the library of the main SWF (loading).

  • File works perfectly in trials, swf will not work

    Greetings!

    Flash CS6 12.0.2.259, station work Dell, i3 3.4 Ghz, 6 GB RAM, 64-bit Windows 8 (also have CC on the Mac at home)

    File is a simple file, 10 images and made loop for change every five seconds, a picture (phone number) on the front layer of images...

    Could have a gif animated but client wanted each image to post a link to a different URL.

    Used ActionScript to post a link to each URL. The top layer shows different scripts to image editing in the timeline panel.

    Everything works fine if I hit Ctrl - Enter, all the images are superb, all links work and Tel number is clear.

    Export to swf and none of the links work; Send to society poster ad and not only the links do not work, but the phone number does not appear...

    See here; looking for a yellow background with pineapple, then other pot (155 square pixels) for Narcissus of Sharon plants:

    http://www.perishablenews.com/index.php?channel=6

    Has been initially formed on CS4, not very useful for over a year now using CS6 (best cinematography). I thought this would be the export process, but why the swf work here?

    Can provide a swf and fla file...

    Help, please. I tried the variations in export/publish settings but can not understand. Most web help is for the buttons...

    Thank you in advance!

    Edit: No error message.

    I can have solved part of it, if I don't understand the solution.

    I reasoned that maybe the script action should be just above the layers that it affected, so I moved the phone number in a single layer on the top and viola! the published swf file now works perfectly, here on my system. Why the mystery, but at least it works...

    However, when I sent the ad company, they say that they still do not see the layer of phone number... Now, she tells me that his graphic person seeks to kglad it..., I think you're on to something with the server and I really hate to say this, but it is out of my hands...

    Thanks for your help, if they solve their problem I'll be sure to post so that others know...

  • How to make a flash file works as an epub or an online catalogue? buttons does not work...

    Hello I am doing an epub or a catalog online for my business, so people can open them on an Ipad. If someone could tell me the steps of the procedure to follow, that would be great. I already have the pages in photoshop and Illustrator CS5 and classified in InDesign CS5 and then exported to Flash to create buttons to switch pages, then converted to html file using technologies wallaby, but when I try opening upward in the html file, the buttons does not even appear. I even tried switching buttons to those I made in Illustrator and it still doesn't work. It works fine when I open the SWF on my computer but I can't send the SWF for a reason any. And my goal is to send this catalogue online by mail and by email. If someone could please help me accomplish this, I would appreciate it.

    Ah... I didn't know that you redo this post. I'll just say the jist. For publications that want to just produce something devices can read, focusing on the publication and the technology behind it, worry, this product is made for you (works with InDesign, Illustrator, etc.):

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/Digital-Publishing-Suite-family.html

    A multitude of devices and media can then see your published content.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    I don't know of another good way. But I don't see why you couldn't use this solution. It is the easiest and ellegant solution I've ever seen for flash embedding. And it's really really wide spread. Just open a site mega cool with flash since the greatest players and look in Firebug which load files... and you will see swfobject.as most of the time. To use it, you type really only this line of code:swfobject.embedSWF(myContent.swf, myContent, 800, 600, 9.0.0); and baam! you have flash on your site which takes care of users without javascript, and users with old flashplayer.

  • W/Flash site works in Firefox, not in Explorer 6

    I hope this is the right forum to ask this question. Excerpts from site in Firefox and IE6 on my job of work, but when posted and seen my other computer used to simply surf the site does not work in IE6. It's a CSS page with a Flash SWF inside a DIV. The Flash SWF file in turn contains an FLV Player, some command buttons and text. No part of the material in the Flash SWF file is visible in IE6.

    Could someone take a look at the source code and see if there's something that jumps. (I know that some buttons do not work in FireFox, and linked video won't, it's beta).

    Edit: After thinking about the site for a really long time, he asked me if I wanted to install Adobe Flash Player. Clicking Yes just closed the popup with no place of installation.

    He did not have this behavior, asking a click, it's just empty with a small red x box icon in the upper left corner of the DIV that contains Flash content. But it is only on this computer only, all others in the House it play well in IE6. Weird.

    EDIT: Installation of the Dreamweaver 8.0.2 update provides a product solution. He introduced the code and added a script folder, so I guess it's fixed.

    Edit2: Install the debugger in Flash Player on the PC where it wouldn't work solved the problem of this PC.

    ReadyBoost - Cache problem!

    My Readyboost does not work.  When I click on dedicate to Readyboost, it gives me an error: failed to create the cache.  The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.  Help!

    Hello

    Did you change your computer?

    (a) click on the 'Start' button, then click on 'computer '.

    (b) right click on the USB drive or flash memory card that uses Windows Ready Boost, then click 'properties '.

    (c) click on the tab "Ready Boost" in the 'Properties' window to the memory card or the USB drive.

    (d) select the title radio button "do not use this device ' then click on 'OK '. This step should remove automatically the Ready Boost cache on the device. If you are unable to use the full capacity of the device, proceed to the next step.

    (e) double-click the memory card or the USB drive.

    (f) right click on the file 'ReadyBoost.sfcache' and then click 'remove '.

  • Flash Player update is linked to the default browser?  -Flash not automatically updated when Chrome is the default

    Hello

    I managed machines for an organization where the majority of users have no administrator rights.  I put the Flash drive to automatically install updates.  In accordance with article (old)

    How the auto update feature does not work in Flash Player?

    "Normal Flash Player installations require an administrator account. However, automatic updates are executed even if the user is logged on with a standard account. »

    So I think my clients should be updated automatically to version 18.  However when I check, I see that they have not updated.  After watching cela some more I realize that when I use the control panel to check the updates that he launched Chrome, which is our default browser.  Of course, Chrome is up-to-date, because Google takes care of this.  However if I run IE and paste the URL of the version check in IE I see that flash is not up-to-date.  So, I try to run the update of IE, and when he is finished he launched a Chrome page again.  So it seems to me that Flash player uses whatever the browser is configured as default browser to search for updates with Adobe.  However this will not work if a user has Chrome as their default browser, and also has flash player installed separately for IE.

    Do you understand my point?  How can I get Flash player automatically updated when a new version is available, even if my default browser is set on Chrome?

    Thank you

    Scott

    Hey Piyush

    Thank you very much for this information.  So basically the feature to 'Allow Adobe to update Flash Player' does not work in all changes of the version.  I find it incredibly misleading.  Rather that engage in a cumbersome process to allow each year the opportunity to distribute flash and then create group policies to deploy, and then test the results to have these policies in place when flash tries to update itself, pay attention to the current versions of flash in order to deploy new .msi files and update our policies...

    I think I'll just remove the flash of all our systems.  It is clear that after installing flash is a continuous security risk and it is regrettable that we cannot rely on Adobe to help keep their own software update in a simple and effective way.  It's amazing to me that Google can do a better job of keeping flash updated in their browser at adobe.

    Thank you

    Scott

    If sendAndLoad() returns correctly in the swf file, but not when they are incorporated, does this mean that I am missing something in my html code?

    I use generic Flash embed code generated from Dreamweaver.  I can post more information if necessary.

    Thank you

    Very useful.

    Is it because my swf/html and the database are in very different places?

    Yes, they are in different domains and adobe imposes restrictions on what a swf file can do with the data from one server to another (from the swf) area.

    Are you talking about a PHP or ASP file that integrates the swf?

    lol you create an executable file on the same server that hosts your swf.  This executable can query your database and not trigger cross-domain issues.

    your swf file can send and receive data from and to this executable without triggering cross-domain issues.
