  There seems to be no have three methods for recording video on the computer.

  1. connect the camcorder and navigate to the folder that contains the video and copy it and paste it into the computer. The problem is, the video is cut into short segments and they don't come together flawlessly when they are imported into Movie Maker.

  2. remove the SD card in the camera and plug it into the computer. The same problem.

  3. use the software supplied with the camcorder to import the video. In this case it is not chop her upward. However, it only allows me to export the video with an extension of file owner. There is no way for me to turn it into a MP4 or anything that can play any other software.  Also, it compresses the file and reduces the quality of it. This is totally unacceptable.

  What I want is to be able to take a video, upload them to my computer, edit and share. I want to edit video professionally. I will not be limited to the supplied software editing features. I want windows to be able to play. I also want my mac to play because I use imovie. The seller told me that this computer is compatible with mac. I just roll with it and spend hours to convert the types of files to get more files on my Mac, but this isn't an option. There is no way to do little matter how long I am willing to spend.

  Here is a review for the future reader:

  Problem 1: Video files download from the camcorder or a SD card to the Windows computer as to cut off shorts.

  Problem 2: Mac is not 'see' the camcorder.

  Solution:

  STEP 1: transfer the whole BDMV to the camcorder or SD card on an external drive through the Windows computer.

  STEP 2: Import through the software edition that you want to use. (In this case, iMovie)  I did point iMovie to import from the external drive and it imported all it detected as a movie.  It's good to anticipate, because it took a long time and it has imported more movies than what I'm trying to change. But it works!

  I'm sorry for the confusion.  I imported AVCHD files directly into iMovie 10.1 without converting them to another format first.  I mentioned VideoStudio X 8 as a Windows program that allows you to edit directly without having to convert the video first.

  If you want to edit with iMovie, and you have version 10.1, then you should not need to convert AVCHD files to another format before editing it.  I understand not wanting to spend money while you should be able to manipulate the files.  I have a MacBook Pro (late 2011) and used iMovie to import the AVCHD file.

  A difference I saw between the Mac and the PC, is that the PC shows the files when you import clips separate way with the. Extension of the MTS and the Mac, importing into iMovie, displayed as a single file AVCHD clips.

  When I copied the files to the SD card on the Mac, I copied the entire BDMV folder and then imported the clips in the stream folder.

  Just out of curiosity, what version of OS X are you using?

  I have 2 images cut into slices that I use in my page. The site was designed with fluid grids CS6. As soon as the page is rendered more small 1 images contracts while the other remains the same size. Is it possible to make this work or is it just not possible using fluid grids?

  It will never work right in fluid networks.  Decide which is more important to you - your concept of design or a sensitive provision.  Unfortunately, responsive web design requires compromises that some designers are not willing to do.  It is certainly not for everyone.

• Broken Images cut into slices in DreamWeaver

  Hello all I do my first: site for my group. I decided to use the slice of photoshops feature to create a menu for the site. I'm pretty sure I did the cutting in full photo shop so I think my problem is in DreamWeaver. When I paste the file *.html sliced in dreamWeaver or I have to paste the code of the image into slices in a table or a liquid breadsticks I get this strange spacing, almost like dreamwever move slices and ruin the image. The Image is supposed to be a menu rectangle that changes color from top to bottom with the text slices use links, the black lines you see are split between the text lines, only the white parts should not be there. (wanted to just describe as image hosting site does a very good job keeping the image look great) Any help would be great.

  What is happened is that Photoshop has done it's work too well by cutting the images, then creating cells of table of the exact height & width to hold these slices and nothing more.  The layout collapses when you try to change it in DW.  Basically, this approach is OK for quick comps to show a client, but it won't work on real websites. The code generated by the graphics applications is too crappy by other means: lack of types of doc, bloating scripts, spacer.gifs, etc...  It is bad.

  You would do well to Dreamweaver for a few days and start to learn the basics of HTML & CSS first.  This will make working with DW much easier.

  Finally, image based menus suck for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is having to re - design all new images every time you want to update your menus.  Using the menus CSS style is much better because you can quickly change in DW.

• Issue of Satellite A100 - 159 LCD - Photo cut into horizontal pieces

  Hello

  For three days I have very strange problems with the LCD screen on my laptop. Imagine the normal image, cut it into horizontal pieces and place pieces randomly above the other.
  This 'strange' combination vertical rolls on the screen. A few minutes later, he stops and the screen shows me a gradient of one color.

  With a keyboard shortcut, the laptop is on stand-by. With the power on button, the laptop leaves Eve and the screen working again normally.

  It happens once or twice a day...

  An external screen works normal, while the LCD is weird, so I guess there is no problem with the graphics card. Can someone explain this strange behavior?

  One last thing, this laptop 13 months now, so I guarantee expired :-(.

  According to your explanation of the problem it is probably problem with graphics card. Please understand that simply test with special tools can give you a definitive answer. I don't really know what is the best solution.

  Hello, I'm new to Illustrator and I just gives my first vector drawing.  The problem I have is that I have completed all the lines using the feather on all contours.  I taped svgz format and then I selected all the lines and converted into an object of paint to add color using the Live Paint Bucket tool.  All this was fine until what at the end, I noticed that along the contours, the color looked jagged along it.

  

  Also, I can see the outline of the pen tool when it cuts across other contours with the pen tool.

  All monitors need to display content with pixels. You can't eliminate all aspects of a screen pixel. Things must be smooth, when printing, and increase/reduction of the size of the objects will not change the pixels that see you because of the display in pixels.

• Having trouble getting first pro clips cut into compositions

  I'm working on a mashup of TV intro in the style of happy days to see the tv with another Publisher.  I'm a complete noob with sequelae.  I have never used before for anything.  The other editor has created the model in the after effects of the turntable with the player intros compositions in the center of the disk and sent the project.  He created a composition for every character intro and I'm trying to get in and replace the clips which he used as place holders with clips that I cut in first pro.

  As a first step, I managed by dragging the first pro sequence in the after effects project.  Then when I looked at the composition of the sequence, I could see the trimmed clips and could copy paste clips I wanted in their compositions respective intro.  I noticed the first time, I imported the sequence in AfterEffects and make the changes in first pro it updated in real-time.  Now all of a sudden the changes I made to the first pro sequence is more updated of sequels.  What's weird, it's update to the extent if I watch the sequence in after effects viewer I can see the changes, but on the scenario where the clips are arranged the changes are not reflected and it shows me a previous version of the sequence.

  So my two main questions are

  (1) how is the line time in legacy is no longer updated is the changes I make to the sequence in first pro?

  (2) what is the best way to get trimmed first pro clips in after effects compositions?

  Question 1:

  Since you're so new to AE, it is quite possible that a number of things that happened without realizing you it. This and you have given a lot of information for troubleshooting I mean, we don't know yet the raw versions you use, much less minor version numbers.   Question 2:

  You can choose file > Import Premiere Pro Project and he'll bring the clips. It does not update, but it will give you the items you need in a way that is easier to deal with EI.

  When you say "it isn't there when seen outside the Cp/swf." Using v5.5.l", means that this problem occurs only in a specific output?

  Try this - go to preferences - SWF size and quality and under customer, uncheck Compression project advance, republish the course and check the results.

  I use Adobe Illustrator CS5.1 in Windows 7. I'm trying to enter-set a file and some lines of text are not editable on a regular basis. When you select a letter, it is cut in a bunch of small images, making it impossible to change the font. The customer wants the title on their business card for United Nations in bold, and I'm unable to change the title. How can I release the return type of an editable form?

  I do not know what type of objects you have in your file, but you can give it a shot with the color of the background on the text object. Keep in mind even if it can work for you is not the way type is designed for a thinner font. So, the quality of the design may not be up to a professional level.

  I downloaded a jpg low resolution on the Web and intend to make a few cuts image of the photos that I have taken--and to paste the cut out images of low resolution uploaded photos.  With Elements 9, I can cut and paste the photo for the photo if they are pcitures that I took on my camera just find - can't cut and paste in the downloaded images of low resolution.  An individual Cup took the picture and paste in the file jpg low resolution creates a layer, but it appears white.  I even took a jpg I downlaoded the Web and scanned it so he could take off protection which can be comng down with the uploaded jpg.  Nothing seems to work.  Thoughts?

  Are you sure that your images are not too large for low resolution? If you get the move tool and drag the layer stuck around, do you see something? I was wondering if maybe the image you paste is not so much larger (because of the higher PPI) that you see only an empty corner of it in the image of low resolution.

  I want to make a numbered list and an alpha list in InDesign CS5, which looks like this:

  

  The list would include A, B, C, etc. and 1, 2, 3, etc.

  I applied the numbered list of paragraphs property. I am able to create a style of character for the letters/numbers in the list, which includes the color of letters and numbers, but InDesign does not apply the underline property to the numbers. I need the underline property to add the colorful square and the circle.

  I can do it with a non-numbered list, type the letters/numbers by hand, but it's a hassle and tedious when I need to reorder the items in the lists.

  Can anyone help?

  There was a similar thread yesterday. It is not entirely clear if this is a bug (I think it is) or a feature emphasizes being a character set and automatic numbers are not recognized as characters in the same way that typed text, but the fact remains that underline and strikethrough do not work on numbers and bullets in a list.

  You have two options. One is to use a paragraph NET and set a huge right indent, but this does not work too well for multiple-digit numbers, or I don't think it works very well with the letters in a proportional font.

  A second option would be to find a font with the circle or the square into the characters and use it as part of a style of character applied to the numbers. I think it's the best solution, but it may not give you the colors you want if you need solid numbers on a colored background.

  A third option would be to use an anchored object placed behind the numbers. It has the most flexibility, I think.

  When you drag with the crop tool, it seems as if I am ever able to drag into thin slices. When I try zooming in and dragging a little, he ends up a rectangle of cropping on a little more that I want.
