  I have a dv6-7014nr, I'm having trouble playing games. The Dynamic Switchable graphics does not work, my client of the game runs only on my Intel HD4000 GPU. I tried to disable the integrated Intel and just use the GT650M from NVIDIA, but I couldn't find the option in the BIOS. I don't know what to do, I can't play Tera Online with 8 FPS.

  It seems that this is a problem with the profile of Tera and affect many of the manufacturer and not just HP.  This is not a BIOS problem so much as it is the profile that the program from Nvidia's Tera.

  Hi Farhat. Once installed the AMD drivers can remove the ability to configure switchable graphics. Essentially, what you must do to restore its functionality, is to use the Recovery Manager HP to the rear original drivers and then upgrade to the latest HP drivers available. • M4800 Precision: Input lag with a log in, Switchable graphics does not, fan GPU "chirp" when it starts.

  I recently bought a new M4800 for an i7 quad, and a m5100 over-pants GPU. So far, I was rather satisfied with the purchase as it is what I need it to do. However, there are a few quirks that prevent from being 100%:

However when the GPU kicks fan on after being off for a long time, there is sometimes a noise, I can only describe as "electronic chirping/scraping" until the fan whirrs to life, it affects not at startup, but randomly as you use on battery and plugged. the configuration management thermal "maximum performance" to keep the fan on all the time to a certain extent eliminates noise.   My personal experience has been a long and trying a.  First, they sent a technician to replace the graphics card with an another week.  Has not made a difference.  While they had tech replace the motherboard.  No difference.  So, I insisted on a new m4800 with the nVidia processor.  That's how I got mine.  BUT I think that if you pushed, maybe they could send a technician to change your graphics card.  Or at least send you a different model (for which you need of course a different driver), then you could install or take to a repair technician.

  For what it's worth, Dell knows they have a problem with this hardware configuration and told me that they raised the question to their experienced engineers.

  I have the model of i5 y560 WITH switchable graphics, however, sometimes it does not.

  Basically when I try to switch from graphics using the switch of the money up front, there is no response. I even tried to right click on desktop and try to change it using "configure switchable graphics", but there is still no response.

  This happens very randomly, but usually after I wake up from sleep mode.

  also, when this happens, my games tend to run at unusually low fps.

  I have a HP Pavilion g6t-2000 who has dual graphics cards.  I bought this laptop with this specific graph Radeon HD 7670 M map for use with ProPresenter 5.

  However, I can see the graphic card installed in my device manager, but I can't access it from my DirectX application.  Furthermore, when I right click on the Windows desktop and select "Configure Switchable Graphics", I get an error message indicating that ' Catalyst Control Center cannot be started and that there are no configurable properties... ". »

  What is the problem?  I already double checked all my drivers, BIOS, etc are up to date.

  I had the same problem with ATI HD 6470 M graphics card on my HP Pavilion G7 1223sm and I found the solution here.
  Drivers for my model of laptop from official page has not worked for me either. After install drivers, Windows 8 was always detect my graphics card such as ATI HD 7400 M with error code 43.
  I downloaded SP58660 and installed, when the catalyst Logo appeared that I canceled the installation (this retrieves the SP58660 on my HDD only).
  I went directly to the control panel-> device-> graphics card Manager. Right-click on 7400 HD and update the driver. I mentioned it in the location 'C:\swsetup\SP58660\Packages' and automatically installed Windows driver.
  Now everything works fine, in the device manager is ATI HD 6470 M without any error code.

  Maybe you should contact Toshiba service and ask for help. They have manuals for Maintenance and plan exact mainboard and they can help you with this.

• Satellite P200 accidents + message: graphic card driver does not work properly

  hope that this issue has not been covered before, but I've owned a Satellite P200 for 3 years now, and this week, it crashes all the time.

  When it started going down he gave me a few messages in the sense of "your graphics card/driver does not work properly and windows will be arrested to avoid damage.

  It has progressed to the point where now when I turn it on, I have vertical lines running down the screen and the screen flashes on and outside. Within 20 seconds, it restores the BSOD - 'there was a problem and windows will be arrested. Error Page_Fault_In_Non_Paged_Area"then stops.

  I ran a system restore but the problem remains.

  But try the graphics card driver update.
  Use the most recent driver for your graphics card.

  In addition, clean the fans of portable computers.
