Synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones

How can I sync 2 smartphone curve 9300 together

First of all, that is - what precisely you want to synchronize,... messages, contacts, or?

You can save a device to the computer and then restore ONLY the data on the second device.

You can synchronize with Outlook and then sync the second device on the same account to Outlook.

You can synchronize an ascii CSV file and then synchronize this file to the second device.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Yes, the device switch Wizard has two devices so that he can have an up-to-date backup. But, if you have a recent backup, then the previous BB shouldn't be necessary. See this KB:

Any ideas how I can sort this out so I can return to the synchronization between my PC and my BB?

    Thank you

    Ok.

Steps I took to get my system working again.

-While the installation worked, I selected "forget device" in the menu of the device.

-Done a complete uninstall of the software of Office BB, including user settings. (A reboot is necessary)

-Download a new copy of BB 7.1 desktop software.

-Installed software, reconfigured synchronization Organizer and everything works fine now.

  • Question of synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones: there is a problem connecting to BlackBerry App World. Please try again.

First of all, I have never had this problem before when you try to install the apps from the app world.

I am trying to download WhatsApp Messenger through App World by clicking Download, and then by clicking on the button 'Sync '. I'm then prompted with the error "synchronization problem: there is a problem connecting to BlackBerry App World." Please try again. ».

    Screenshot: http://goo.gl/RSx8v

App world tells me on the right side of the page that my machine is connected (which is) via the USB port. I tried the phone turned off, taking the battery for more than a minute to be sure, restart the phone, restart the computer and try again with no luck.

I also tried several browsers, Chrome and Firefox.

I found this page which tells me it could be a firewall issue, http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/viewdocument.do?externalId=KB27184&sliceId=1&cmd=displayKC&d...

I therefore disabled my firewall and still had no success. This gets really annoying, and my blackberry seems to have stupid questions like this forever.

Anyone got any ideas on a solution possible?

    Thank you.

I tried in IE and it works. Went back to Firefox and Chrome, and it does not work. But the interesting thing is a friend tried his blackberry on my computer and it works fine in Firefox.

EDIT: I found the problem, I deleted the App World Plugin from my computer and reinstalled Firefox and it works. Why it does not detect that I use a plugin obsolete?

    Anyway, problem solved.

  • Synchronization of blackBerry Smartphones will reset home screen image

Using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.3.0.17, BlackBerry Curve on Verizon.

If I put a picture of the home screen (wallpaper), when I synchronize with Desktop Manager, the homescreen image gets always reset the default image for the theme. No matter what topic it is - BB integrated by default or Verizon one that accompanies it - the image is always set to zero by default.

    Here's the little interesting:

    1. I put the image of the home screen to something specific to the topic.
    2. I do a sync and see the image of the home screen to reset.
    3. I go to the B theme and define the image of the homescreen to something specific.
    4. I do a sync and see the image of the home screen to reset.
    5. I return to A theme without changing anything, and the image of the specific home screen, I initially put in step 1 is back in place.

How can I stop my wallpaper to reset everytime I sync? Is there a setting I'm missing?

No sooner I haven't posted that I came with an experience that gave the answer:

Make sure you have your home screen of pictures stored on the device's memory, not on a media card If it's on the memory of the device, it will not be reset; If it's on a memory card, it resets.

  • Problem of synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones

I use a 9810. I had to reinstall windows and since I can not sync with Outlook. It worked fine before. don't know what version of Blackberry Desktop, I had then. Downloaded Desktop 7.1 now and since when I try to sync with MS Outlook synchronization stops at halfway and I get the message "CRTranRec::GetLinkedRecordId: Invalid bound record. Cannot sync anything. Get the same error with contacts, notes, tasks etc. even if synchronized individually

    Any advice?

"Does not work"? Even falling back to an earlier version did not work? Which would be quite unusual indeed...

Yes, there are a few KBs on the issue... but most stipulate what you found, and so I've found that many users need to go back to earlier versions in order to become functional.

    Good luck!

  • Calendar of Outlook synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones when accessed through a web portal

Can someone point me in the right direction?  I'm giving one of my Blackberry users the ability to synchronize its calendar of his laptop computer.  He can access his Outlook calendar through a web portal to our secure network.  This software has the capacity or is anyone know what software would do?  I don't see that as an option when you set up the software.  Because Outlook is not really run on his laptop computer

    Thanks in advance.

Well, it isn't really a problem with Outlook.  You seem very friendly.  They access their calendar/tasks and messaging via a web portal as a result of the fire walls, we have in place.

However, I did more research on my own here and found that Blackberry Professional Software offers wireless calendar synchronization and which seems to be a good resolution.

  • Problems of synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones software 4.6

When I synchronize messages that I've deleted or moved to a personal folder continue to appear on my device, I checked and double-checked all my settings and do not know why he continues to leave messages on my machine. This is an email from work via an Enterprise Server and worked fine on version 4.3, but when I installed 4.6.0.17 I started having the problem.

    How to delete messages?
the right way is to have the messages go to the folder "deleted items". In this way, a command is sent to your device to remove the same message in messages from your BlackBerry.

If you SHIFT-delete them, it won't work.

then later, after the reconciliation of the e-mail, you can empty the 'Deleted items' folder (I do that twice a day)

  • Problems of synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones: Run Time Error when MS Outlook is applied

I just got the Curve 8330 and recorded the telephone and e-mail. I had an older Blackberry and my outlook 2003 address book and calendar synced perfectly using Desktop Manager. I installed the latest version supplied on cd-rom with the curve and the installation was successful. I then tried to set up sync and tried to apply the synchronization with ms outlook and that's when the problem occurred.

    1. I opened the Desktop Manager and clicked on sync.

2 click on the albums configuration tab

    3. I then clicked on configure synchronization.

    4 selected address book

    5. the next page listed available desktop applications and I chose MS Outlook

    6 then I select the two-way synchronization

    7. after clicking Next, I get this ERROR of EXECUTION: section of the Application is not based on files.

I tried to uninstall the Office Director and reinstalled from the blackberry website. Still, I got the same message. Then I found the link below and concluded that there are ducts that connect the Outlook for Office Manager and for some reason, there is an error that is there. I did not quite understand how to solve the problem of the information provided on the troubleshooting link. • Updates to the synchronization of blackBerry Smartphones

Maybe it's a bad habit, but I was not to accept the many updates to the Blackberry Desktop Manager wants to load on the phone when I do my syncing to update calendar/address book. Is it recommended to accept all updates all the time with each synchronization?

On these latest near-attempt to load all the updates, there was also a warning message you need to 'enable your wireless device to continue to send and receive emails and use other services of Blackberry. '. Makes me scared here! What is meant by 'activate my wireless device? Turn it on? make a phone call? Definitely, would not take the risk of suddenly losing capabilities of electronic mail on the thing...

I am particularly GUN-SHY about this because the last time I tried to update some fatal glitch has occurred and it totally fried my phone. Had to build from scratch as the day back, I got it, the pain in the rear. Don't want that to happen again.

Any advice from others would be appreciated.

    1. I recommend upgrades because usually there is something known to improve the device.

However, that said, if your BlackBerry works well and have no problems, there is no need to do so.

    2. ALWAYS do your own backup first of all, by using the Desktop Manager > backup.

    3. the warning device activation is there because on certain BES accounts, a password of the BES Admin activation may be necessary to revisit the BES. If you are a personal user, there is nothing to worry about and you can ignore this.
