• Error in the capture of several channels using pre-trigger

  I have problems of acquiring data with pre-trigger samples during the capture of several channels, using hardware NOR-PXI-6071E and Analog Input VIs in Labview (inheritance OR-DAQ).

  My goal is to trigger a signal, while capturing another. Unfortunately, I can't use the PFI0 for external triggering, as our cables/material have already been built, so I have to use an analog input as the trigger channel. I understand that to do this I must capture the two strings and the string I want to trigger outside must be the first string in the list.

  If I trigger and capture on the same channel (I tried 1-4) then it works very well, regardless of the number of samples before relaxation together. If I capture more than one channel (the channel of the relaxation to a first), with no pre-trigger samples, then trigger and capture both work very well. However, if I do the same thing with pre-trigger > 0 sample I get the following error:

  Error-10621 to AI control. Possible reasons:
  NOR-DAQ LV: The specified trigger signal cannot be assigned to the resource for the trigger.

  I don't have to such limitation explained in the user manual, and the forum search, I found a few other people who have had the same problem but they had no solutions. Any ideas?

  Unfortunately, this is a hardware limitation when you reference analog trigger via one of the lines to HAVE.

  Please see this knowledge base. Particularly the second paragraph says

  The error-10621 appears immediately when the VI running if you try to assign scans of relaxation before while scanning multiple channels and using one of the entries as your trigger channel.

  Details are explained in the third paragraph:

  Because all the entries are multiplexed before being sent for analog triggering circuit, it is possible that the trigger on the trigger channel conditions might miss while the device is multiplexing by another channel. In this case, the trigger will not be detected.

  It is explained in the E-Series user manual page 10-3.  Specifically the second paragraph of the section entitled "Analog Input Channel".

  Using Windows Media Player 12 (w/under Windows 7), "can I ripping the same song, several times, using different bitrates & and/or formats and store all the digital music files in the music library by default WMP - 12, on the same hard drive?

  1.) #1 goal: tear up the same song repeatedly, w / "different rates" as a WMA file.

  2.) #2 goal: tear up the same song repeatedly, w / "different rates" as an mp3 file.

  3.) #3 objective: NOT to each subsequent copy (version) of the song, deleted & and/or replaced by the previous version of the song [even].

  4.) question Bottom Line Up Front--> is Windows Media Player 12 (included with the Windows 7 operating system) are able to achieve '#1 objectives; #2; & #3 above?

  5.) details/example: I want to tear the piece "Maria Maria by Carlos Santana" to my laptop as a Windows Media Audio [WMA] file.  In addition, I would like to rip the song 'Maria Maria' three several times with 3 different bitrates in format WMA; and, as an MP3 file.  Therefore, my final result wished (after the extraction process), will take place the four 4 audio files split up as follows: (a) 'Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'--> Format: file WMA; Ripped @128 Kbps bitrate.  (b) ' Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'--> Format: file WMA; Ripped to the "Variable bit rate; (c) ' Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'--> Format: file WMA; Ripped commissioning "Lossless." and (d). 'Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'--> Format: MP3 file. Ripped @256 Kbps bitrate.

  6.) my preference: I do NOT want to rename the file (s). {for example, 'Maria Maria by Carlos Santana' renamed/changed for--> "Maria_Maria_by_Carlos_Santana_128kbps.wma",...} 'Maria_Maria_by_Carlos_Santana_256kbps.mp3 '; etc.}.  In addition, I am not concerned about the additional disk space that will be consumed after multiple copies of the same song with different speeds of transmission and different formats.

  7.) my experience w / Windows Media Player 10 (w / the operating system of Windows XP): using WMP - 10, my goal (s) described above is not a problem at all.  Simply insert the CD purchased by Carlos Santana, containing the song "Maria Maria"... Select the desired Format (WMA; WMA VBR; WMA Lossless; or mp3)... Select the desired flow rate (WMA... 128/160/192kbps_mp3: 128/192/256/320 kbit / s; etc.) ; and click on the "RIP" button to start the copy process on the hard disk of of Carlos Santana's "Maria Maria".  This process (w / WMP-10) would result in having the same song, copied on the hard disk, with levels of quality different "audio" (via the different bit rate settings); regardless of the format (MP3/WMA) which was chosen.

  8.) my experience w / Windows Media Player 11 (w / the operating system of Windows XP): using WMP 11, to described above of my objective (s) could not be reached e-a-s-i-l-y.  The problem with WMP - 11 - in short - which was after the desired selection "Rip settings" tab 'Options' of WMP - 11 (i.e., Format & Bit Rate) and heart-wrenching piece wanted to {'Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'} a moment later/second, WMP11 remove / would crush the previous version of the song [even].  Therefore, the program would NOT allow the user to have multiple copies of the same song on the hard drive of the PC; which obviously restricts a user to have the freedom to choose what level of quality digital audio, they prefer to listen to.

  9.) the ability to have multiple copies [at my descretion] of the same song (on my hard drive) with different bitrates and formats in my music library, is important for me because it has a direct impact on "how I enjoy MY music ', and in what form (audio quality), I choose to listen to my music.  {For example, when I exercise and listening to my camera, digital audio player (Zune), a song ('Maria Maria by Carlos Santana'), will usually be torn off at a lower rate due to the unit of capacity reduction of storage - compared to the storage capacity of notebook PCs/desktop/external hard drives PC.}  However, when I listen to my music through my home cinema or entertainment system (which contains a hard disk dedicated with a large storage capacity), I prefer to load the entertainment system with digital music files that have been ripped to WMA... with the bit being rate-setting is for the: settings "WMA Variable Bit Rate" or "WMA Lossless.

  Certainly, you can, but I would say that they be in different folders, for your convenience as well as Windows.  You can create one for each debit/format, then you will know who is who.

  In Windows Media Player, on the toolbar, select Tools, Options, Rip, and then select the flow you want first, rip music, then change the folder (higher on the same tab) and rip again... and so on and so forth.

  When you are at home on your home theater, you can use the 320 bitrate folder, when you transfer to the Zune, you can use one of the lower bitrate files (although I personally tear it up to 320 and let the Zune reduce as he wants, even with the iPhone via iTunes, hard drive space is not really a problem here) my server has several hard drives, and I can always add more if and when space is low!

  EIB PSE 8 die Funktion "several files use" anklicken und konnte dann in inem unter Datei konnte ich extra Fenster den zu bearbeitenden Ordner öffnen und alle Bilder Ordners zu RAW JPEG if das Ergebniss und von sharps in a new Ordner speichern.

  In PES 11 ist der instruction "several files use" nun nur grau unterlegt und nicht klickbar.

  You will probably want to use the option "only a thread" of a synchronization of the batch section to do this. Looks like you already use the Batch process template, so it should be relatively easy to implement. If it's one step, you can go to the sync step settings tab and change the setting from batch synchronization . If several consecutive steps, you can use the modes enter the sections synchronised and synchronized output of the step batch synchronization type.

  In addition, we have an example that demonstrates this feature. You can find it at \Examples\MultiUUT\BatchUUT.seq. If you look at the stage set room temperature , you will see that it is configured in this way.

• Best way to synchronize several FPGAs

  I have several PXI-7833R FPGA and I need all the AIs to be sampled at the same time (through all FPGA). As I taste all the individual channels to HAVE, I have data (write to the DMA) buffer, scan it and are looking for a trigger defined by the user in a different loop. Once I discovered this in a single channel, I save all FPGA data. Regarding the timing of sampling, I had started, to an FPGA, to send a signal on the PXI trigger line to tell others to try, but I guess that it does not sync. If I founded the ensemble of distinct FPGAS screw off the clock, PXI, how synchronize loops to the sample to the same clock time?

  There is a very good example comes with FPGA LV named 'Master-slave of RIO - R Series.lvproj'. Just use the Finder for example to open it.

  It shows how to use the lines of PXI trigger for synchronization of the different measures on multiple FPGAs.

  Check the option Show Scan Previow is enabled and scanning as 300 dpi resolution or below.

  I tried before, two different (SMU-7962R + OR-5734) FlexRIO card reading in the '40 MHz Onboard Clock' or 'PXI_Clk10' areas of clock. Trigger has been achieved by simply looking for a rising edge on PXI_Trig0:

  

  This produces seeds, but there has no inclination (or constantly tilt at least) between the two FlexRIOs - I sent a pulse train duplicated in the two cards, and the triggered-acquired waveforms were still at the stage:

  

  To avoid problems, I went to examples of clock (IO Module clock 0). Unfortunately, the clocks of the sample between the two FlexRIOs had nothing in common, so the acquired waveforms have been is out of phase. Worse still, the phase difference changes with each release:

  Page 9 of the Manual 5734 described the different synchronized methods that can be used the 5734. You can synchronize either sample clock of each module to a clock available through your chassis backplane (for example, DStar_A) by allowing the IOModSynClk in 5734 properties (available the Details category) or use an external clock through the Clk port on the module. Activation of IOModSyncClk is probably the best approach and will lead by examples of clock on each module e/s being PLLed on the clock of the town - which must synchronize the clocks of the two sample together.

  Looking for how tight synchronization? There is no way to truly synchronize 9239 in of 9191 since you cannot share time bases, examples of clock or triggers. The closest you could come starts the task at the same time. You would be always at the mercy of your network latency time.

  A trick that might get you more closely to leave real at the same time uses the DAQmx controls Task.vi to commit all the tasks before them. Since the time it takes to commit a task can vary from task to task, if you wait until all your tasks are committed before you start them, you can do your measurements closer to "synchronized" as is possible with your hardware configuration.

  I was doing a virtual lab online for school and I was suddenly severely lack of memory. I went to uninstall unused programs and when I click on uninstall to Print Master 12 does not uninstall, and more memory was taken. The program was originally 812,00 MB, after that I tried to uninstall it went to 745,00 MB. I clicked on uninstall a couple of times and more memory was taken and the program is still there. I'm 664 MB memory and my hard drive was somewhere between 50% and 60% used before this all started. The car originally had a 64.5 GB of capacity, at least 40% unused. I don't want to run more commercial cleaning because I keep losing space. I hope someone can help me.

  I solved the problem. It had to do with the remote control of Virtual Machine I was using. I assumed that since the program was for my virtual labs at school, it would not store anything on my hard drive. I was so wrong. I got rid of the program and all files associated with it and got 30 GB on my hard drive. I bought a 320 GB external drive that I dedicate to my school work.
