System interrupts the large CPU usage

Hello

I recently installed Windows 7 Professional on my computer and I'm having a problem with a process called system interrupts by using a batch processor (about 25%).

I tried several supposed fixes I found here and on other forums, but have not solved the problem.

I'm really tired.

http://i289.Photobucket.com/albums/ll203/SK-illfull/systeminterrupts.jpg

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3
Video card: Nvidea 8800 GTX

My computer got so slow that the mouse has been slow and jerky, and I had to reboot. Interrupts system was approximately 30% of time CPU. My PC is now available 5 days and the bug seems to have disappeared. The following solution seems to fix the problem:

1. right click on the "speaker" icon

2. Select playback device

3. click on the properties of speaker

4. go in the tab of the improvements

5. click on Disable All Sound Effects

6. click on OK. You're done!

Sound improvements seem a reason any cause the same problem when not in use. So disable them following the above procedure. Good luck!

  • System interupts causing the high CPU usage, possibly ataport.sys

I have worked on this for a month now and have had no luck looking in other posts. Interrupts system uses a core of my 100% computer. I ran windows performance monitor and it seems to be caused by ataport.sys. The problem happens periodically and will last for a few hours and then disappear. I did a full AVG and Malwarebytes full scan. I tried to update all my drivers. I don't know what else to do.

    Thanks in advance

The problem occurred, so I think it's fixed, it for 36 hours.

First my problem (high utilization of the processor system interruptions) occurred only when there was a large amount of disk use, for example when copying the files, open a program or running a program that accesses the floppy disk a lot at run time, such as a virus scan.

Here's what I did, but I don't know exactly which corrects the problem.

I downloaded and ran Auslogics Registry Defragmenter-Auslogics Registry cleaner and Disk Defragmenter Auslogics. When you run Disk Defragmenter, I chose the option to move the files to the front of the drive system and ran the defragmentation and the optimizer, as opposed to only the defragmentation.

So I ran Chkdsk using the administrator following command command prompt: Chkdsk /f /r: C

After the words, I downloaded Seatools from Seagate and ran long Fix All option on my hard drive.

  • What is the "system idle process" and why it seems to freeze my Windows XP and show the 99% CPU usage?

This problem sometimes occurs when my computer starts. Today, it happened and actually picked up my internet connection, which also won the update of Flash Player and Internet Explorer open. Also, I couldn't get the Start Menu to open. What is happening to the CPU is too busy doing something else? Is there a way to refresh the process or the CPU?

    Hi Hope_H,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

2 when was the last time it was working fine?

    3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

    4. you receive an error message?

Checking service or program uses high processor usage by using Task Manager.

To view the CPU usage, press CTRL + ALT + DELETE, click Task Manager, and then click the performance tab.

    Overview of the Task Manager

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/taskman_whats_there_w.mspx?mfr=true

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

  • Problem with the Ubuntu CPU usage

    Hello

We meet a few the next problem with an Ubuntu VM:

The virtual machine has 8 vCPU (increased from 2 Sockets with 4-core to 8 outlets with a carrot) and the latest VMware tools installed. Even if there is a lot of load on this system, the virtual machine seems to use about 25% to 50% of CPU capacity. The return of the command vmstat 1 during this time is:

    user: 28%

    system: 4%

    inactive: 78%

    wait: 0%

VCenter statistics shows a spike on the CPU load, but epi only climbs and rest between 25 and 50 percent or a maximum use of 7 309 MHz (about 16,000).

Here are some features of the environment and the virtual machine:

    Server:

    VMware ESXi 5.5

    VMware vCenter 5.5

    HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8

    • 2 x Intel Xeon E5-2620 @ 2.00 GHz

    • QNAP-TS-869U-RP via iSCSI

    VM:

    12.04.4 of Ubuntu LTS (GNU/Linux x86_64 from 3.8.0 - 36-generic)

    VM-Version 8

    8 vCPU

    8 GB vRAM

Updated version of the VMware tools installed

What can we do to improve the virtual machine CPU usage?

Please let me know if you need further information.

    Thanks in advance

Since a thread can use 100% of a vCPU it may be a problem of thread on your application.

You should look at the use of the individual processor instead of overall consumption.

Lets say that the application can use only 1 wire but it uses 100%, this means that it will use to 12.5% of the total cpu resources allocated to this virtual machine. (100/8)

The Task Manager is now just 'CPU' because I must have hit something wrong.  I was hoping just to click on the tab use the CPU in the Task Manager, now somehow when I hit CTRL, remove alt. it shows only the CPU usage graph.

  • Satellite L500D - high all the time CPU usage

    Hi guys,.

help a friend with a laptop, the thing was really slow had vista on it, so formatted and installed win7 x 64. It's a toshiba satellite l500d-pslk0a-00r009. Dual core 2.2 ghz. 4 GB RAM. (did a new install not updated)

Even on an installation of vanilla, just running windows only update is trolling the heck out of him. CPU is sitting at 100%, but looking at the process that they all sit at zero. I can't see what process is the cause.

Web browser opening is really offbeat it will freeze and say does not then come back after some time.

temperatures are good (50deg C). Power profile is very good. Even turned off all the animations. always the same question.

RAM usage is less than 20%.

There is certainly a problem with the CPU, I ran the windows performance index, all rated in the Middle 4 except the CPU that qualified 2.0!

I've updated all the drivers etc. What else can I try and do to solve the problem of cpu?

    Hello

Try this: go into Device Manager and expand the entry processor and remove all entries from the CPU. Reboot the laptop.
After that the windows system should recognize the entries deleted once more.

After that I recommend you to check if the CPU performance.

  • Flash video jumps despite the low CPU usage

It is a problem of browser independent (in IE and FF) and apply only to the Flash Video (YouTube, for example)-it happens for example with DivX.

Time to time the video will drop frames. Running beside the video Task Manager, I see that the CPU actually tends to fall in these moments, rather than boost. Well, it comes down to the departure at the time of the loss of images and then upwards slightly above reference for a short period. Use during playback, however, is very small, about 3-4%.

    What I tried:

    Change Windows high-performance power management

Deactivation of many processes that run in the background

Deactivation of the possibilities for energy savings in the energy Manager of Lenovo and technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology (though I doubt that this has nothing to do with the HARD drive)

    Disabling hardware acceleration in Flash

    .. .but does not.

    System information:

    Flash 12.0.0.77

    I have a new Lenovo Z710:

Processor: 4th generation Intel Core i7-4700MQ processor (2.40 GHz, 1600 MHz 6 MB)

    Operating system: Windows 8.1 64

    Graphic system: 2GB

    Total memory: 8.0 GB PC3 - 12800 1600 MHz SDRAM DDR3L

    ' Display type: 17.3 "FHD LED Glare Wedge 1920 x 1080

    Device HDD: 1 TB + 8 GB

It has Intel Graphics HD 4600 running the latest drivers.

It's a clean new laptop - I did very little with it and actually this problem presented before I did anything for her.

It is quite frustrating and my old Acer laptop, although usually slow, doesn't have this problem.

    I hope someone can help.

Hello. I have a similar problem with casual framedrops while watching Youtube videos in point 8.1 of Windows. My processor is a core i5-4440 quad, and I also GMA 4600.

I think it's a little problem with Flash player multi-threading with quad core CPU. It does not seem to happen when I go in the Manager of tasks and set the affinity for the Flash Player to use only a single core. Try it on your machine and see if it falls still frames.

  • CPU usage monitor shows only a large cpu usage screen

I can now only get a box large screen when I press Ctrl-alt-delete.  This has happened recently. I can't minimize or otherwise see all the normal menu options.  Windows XP.

    Hi LaurieRichings,

This would happen if you switched in the other views of the Task Manager.

I suggest that you double-click an area of the window Task Manager to get the normal setting of the Task Manager.

Tabs and the Task Manager menu bar are not visible in Windows XP

  • How to limit the rules (CPU usage) doesn't include a few servers (IP)

    Hello

There are few servers who always raised processor and we do not generate alerts for servers, but we need to get the statistics of CPU in the FMS, is there a way I can limit the rules (i.e., the CPU utilization) to not stand for these servers.

    Thank you

    Shashank Soni.

    Hello

You can change the definition of the rule to exclude certain hosts.

In this example, we add a condition by saying that the does not apply to a specific host, or hosts.
Note that you may need to replace the name of the property with the property that designates the host name.

You can also check the host name in the status itself

Another option you have is to find the variable being compared and it scope (give it a very high value for specific hosts.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows 8 system interrupts high CPU usage

I have a new laptop - Hewlett Packard - with 8.1 Windows 64-bit installed and updated, I bought a month ago.  I had major problems with it getting more slower during a day until it has reached the point where it literally comes to a grinding stop around what this time of the evening.  He has a lot of RAM and processing speed, so I'm very surprised that it is having this problem.

I had a glance at the Manager of tasks and processes and found that "the system interrupts" always uses between 30 and 40% of the CPU, even when I don't have any other programs open.  When I add Firefox to the mixture, between her and the system interrupts, the CPU runs at 80% capacity all the time, which is why it is grinding to a halt.

I looked at other issues in this topic on this forum, but the answers don't make much sense to me - especially those who blame it all on 3rd party software, which seems a little too convenient for me.

in any case, I would like to help please with this problem.

    Can someone help, please?

    Thank you

  • High CPU usage by "System outages" and missing keystrokes in IE on all new HP laptop 15-r085nd

I recently bought a HP15-r085nd (Win 8.1 with Bing), and right out of the box, I encountered this problem:

After the awakening of the mode (usually after the first time to wake from sleep mode, but always after the second time), the process "System outages" has high utilization of the processor, up to 45%. The laptop then responds very, very slow. In addition, in Internet Explorer (but only in Internet Explorer, it seems!) strikes are missing out.

    I tried the following:

-Implementation of all the updates of Windows, all McAfee updates and all of the updates from HP Assistent. No results.

-Reinstall all the drivers, no results. Windows system restore: no result. Factory reset the recovery partition: no result. Then implemented all the updates again: no result.

-J' tried to use Microsoft Xperf to diagnose the problem: it seems wdf0100.sys to blame for the high CPU usage. (In other words, if I have interpreted the results in the right way).

-J' then did some troubleshooting with Microsoft Support: they asked me to disable all startup items in the Task Manager and disable all non-Microsoft services in msconfig. The result was that the high CPU usage of "System interrupts" occurred less frequently after the first time out of the way 'sleep', but still she always had after the second time to wake off mode 'sleep'. Uninstallation of McAfee seems to have the same effect, by the way.

-J' then did some troubleshooting with the store were I bought it. They used a pilot program to install newer versions of the drivers. Also, in vain.

Then they gave me another laptop of the same model (r085nd). It had exactly the same problems. So I think that all laptops of this model have the same problem! Does anyone know of a similar case with a laptop similar?

-J' then did some troubleshooting with HP support. We have updated the BIOS (F.24), without result. We have made a few updates to additional drivers on the HP site, no results. We wanted to update the graphic driver Intel HD (sp65598), but we couldn't install it, an error message saying: minimum system requirements were not satisfied.

I hope that the HP support can arrive at a solution (they wanted to deepen this). If so, I'll promise to post it here, because it affects probably other r085nd HP as well.

In the mean time, I'd appreciate any suggestions, because I'm totally confused now. Someone at - it ideas? I will answer all the answers!

I was contacted by HP Support again. After a new series of updates which included some updates everything new on the site of HP is solved the problem with high CPU usage by "system outages"!

We have done several updates, so I know not that exactly solved the problem, but it is those:

-New firmware BIOS: version F.33 (my bet would be that is the one that solves the problem)

-New Intel chipset driver: 1.20 (sp69575.exe)

-New driver Intel HD Graphics: 1.20 (sp69589.exe): 10.18.10.3958 (this one tried earlier, without solving the problem)

-New driver Realtek card reader: 1.20Ap3 (sp69610.exe)

I hope this helps other people with the same problem.

Thanks to the HP Support team for their help with this problem!

Moreover, the problem of lack of strikes in Internet Explorer (more use of CPU (any reason), the sequences of keys more are not registered!) still exists! I work around this problem by using Google Chrome. Again, I hope that this issue might get resolved as well! I nevertheless marks it as "Resolved" as the main problem is resolved.

  • Excessively the CPU usage high on my Equium M70

    Hello

Recently in the last month my summer CPU usage hit 100% when I m not running any software tax (only internet explore and windows media player).

It is slowing down the load time and the area near the fan is hot enough.

I have a Satellite M70-337, with a 1.7 centrino processor and now 2 GB of RAM (formerly 512 megabytes). I upgraded the ram in December and had no problems like that, now it just started happening recently, I have installed everything that would, there is no unnecessary programs running and it was after I restored my computer to factory with the startup disk settings (a month later), he seems to have come from nowhere. On the list of the Task Manager it shows my web browser and Media Player by using most of the CPU, but I could have sworn that they use so far before.

I don't know if the RAM would have been a factor, but it was the correct RAM for it and windows recognized to 2 GB.

Why would it suddenly happened any ideas guys?

    Hello

I have the same model of laptop and at the moment I have no such problems. To be honest, I did new installation OS 3 months ago and after installing Microsoft Update, I noticed this laptop does not work as before. Just for example: if I use IE7 extensively with several different tabs in the Task Manager I can see this need for IE more than 300,000 k of memory and crashes somehow. After the closure of the IE and ending THE process sin Task Manager I can work normally again.

I don't really know how your operating system is configured, but in the Task Manager, you should see what running process is responsible for the high CPU usage. Maybe some antivir application? Sorry, but it is really not easy to sayt why this happens. Play around with the current process.
