System specification

Hello everyone,

I intend to buy my first vesry Macbook Pro 15/2015 at the end of this month. Maybe his Macbook Pro MJLT2 is.

I had Apple Web site system specifications:

  • Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 (Turbo Boost 3 .4GHz)
  • RAM: 16 GB / edge DDR3L 1600 MHz
  • SSD: 512 GB PCIe-based
  • VGA: Graphics AMD Radeon M370X (2 GB of GDDR5 memory) R9 + Intel Iris Pro

I want to know: who is the generation of this CPU (Hasswell/Bradwell)? and who is the generation of Intel Iris Pro?

Is - this pretty strong for the use of graphics software (Adobe CC) 2D + software 3D (3DsMax, Maya) Macbook

Thanks for reading my question. Sorry because my English is not good.

Hope you guys have a good day.

I ' d up the CPU at 2.8 or 3 If your budget allows

  • This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification.

I've seen other posts on this topic. Nothing seems to work, so I thought I would explain my situation.

The machine is new. Win7 64 bit company. The problem I see is that I try to load some versions of Visual Studio on the new machine. However, none of the discs auto-run using my local internal DVD drive. They all have a Readme file with the message "this disc contains a"UDF"file system and requires an operating system that supports the ISO-13346"UDF"file system specification."

I know that the discs are good, I used the on my old machine, and I can always use them on other machines I tested.

The real kicker here is that I can plug an external USB DVD drive... and then the local drive starts to read the installation discs! It's like making this action allows something else in the machine.

Also, I even restarted the machine mode of diagnosis (without external DVD drive attached)... and restart, the drive would read the installation discs. BUT when I do a full stop and then turn on the machine upward, the local drive gives me the same readme file. Again, it is as if something gets activated, and then reset to a complete stop.

I am at a loss of what to check then. Real head-scratcher, because I know the drive works and the machine can recognize the drive and even read installation discs.

I do not have the applications installed on the machine of DVD burning, so I don't think there is a conflict.

    Any suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Bad - could you review this CS5 system specification?

    Hello from evil,

I just upgraded my CS4 Master Collection CS5.  I have been specifying a video editing station dedicated to a submarine film shot in HDV.  I read so many messages, my eyes are bleary, but I think I'm close.

Could you review the system specifications PDF attached with special attention to the configuration of the storage?

Comments/improvements would be most appreciated.  I don't mind the $$$ spending, but want to avoid stupid mistakes.

    Thank you very much.

    Mike

    Mike,

This looks like a great system. To your player F and G, you should consider the normal readers of black Caviar, since they will not work during a raid and that saves you some $$. Instead of Win7 Ultimate, you can choose Pro, unless you need the multilingual and bitlocker features. Get the Areca with 2 or 4 GB cache instead of the default 512 MB.

You are in fabulous shape with this system. Play well.

  • Help! Not clear the system specifications? Desktop compaq CQ5320Y... Want to upgrade CPU

I have a Presario CQ5320Y desktop computer and I was looking at upgrading the processor to an AMD Phenom II X 4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4 GHz Quad-Core, in the specification system, it says the TDP is 95 Watts, but he has forward processer mentioned, who take 125 watts according to AMD, on the list of upgradable processor. I don't know if I blow on the motherboard or if it is designed to take this particular amoun just for this processor t?  Help!

    Here are the specifications of your desktop Compaq Presario CQ5320Y and its card mother M2N68-(Narra6). Based on the specifications, this model supports the following processors;

    Type of socket: AM3

    TDP: 95 watts

    AMD Phenom II X 4 9xx/9xxe/8xx Quad-Core (Deneb)

    AMD Phenom II X 3 Triple-Core (Heka) 7xx/7xxe

    AMD Phenom II X 2 5xx (Callisto)

    II AMD Athlon X 4 6xx/6xxe (undactylopodite)

    AMD Athlon II X 3 4xx/4xxe (Rana)

    AMD Athlon II X 2 2xx/2xxe (Regor)

    AMD Sempron 1xx (Sargas)

It's very clear... the system supports a subset of the list up to a maximum of 95 watts. If the CPU is valued at more than 95 watts, it is not supported. In addition, "Black Edition" processors are not listed and therefore are not taken in charge.

  • Try to find the system specifications

Hi - I just brought a second hand X 220, which still has a valid warranty. I have a few worries about that - the thinklight sensor, camera and the cover does not seem to work - but before I call assistance and making a fool of myself I wanted to check if this particular model even came with a camera.

    The model is a CV3 4291.

I looked in all the psref documents that I can find on the Lenovo Web site, but I can't find - any reference to this particular model: can someone counsel how I can obtain detailed information on this particular model?

    Thank you

    Hello

The fingerprinter reader is located in the Palm to the right of the TrackPad.  You can see the patterns had a blast showing all the parts (and numbers) in Chapter 10 of the Manual of Maintenance of hardware ThinkPad X 220.

You can check the specifications on the system by running the Information System (file name: MSINFO32.) (EXE) to check which model of processor and the amount of RAM installed in the system.  You can issue a command "wmic csprodcut get identifyingnumber, name ' from an command prompt high (file name: cmd.) (EXE) to view the serial number and model number integrated into the motherboard of the system.  Please do not share the serial number to the public, however, that this information is considered private and should be shared in publc messages in the forum.

You will need to contact the technical support of Lenovo directly on the phone and ask them what they can and cannot do to support a system that is still under warranty then, because I imagine that the details vary depending on a base country.

    Kind regards

  • How can I find the complete system specifications?

    Hey there.

My uncle will send me some IQ526Ts Touchsmart from HP with the number of product NE481AV.  How can I find the full system specs?

Please don't suggest using something like speccy or other programs like this.  I want to do it on the HP site, and apparently I can't have their guaranteed email b/c was released.

    Thank you all,

  • This report on Mac/system hardware to display incorrectly

    Hi people!

I recently bought a used Macbook Pro 13, 2012 with the specs announced as i7 2.9 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB SSD.  The seller showed specifications system via 'about this Mac' and 'System Report' and they came as above then I handed the money and went on my merry way. On their return, that I have updated to the most recent of the El Capitan - 10.11.4 version and after doing so the specifications changed to what I now believe to be the real specs of the machine - i5, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD - I have since confirmed this by checking the serial number on everymac.com and reset for diagnostics of material. So, I was wrong. Anyway, moving along - the system specifications are everywhere:

Note 3MB L3 cache, i7 should be 4 MB, of course. I just want to underline once again that when purchasing the specs above were all showing that you would expect from a MBP i7 13, 2012.

First of all, is this kind of thing in common with the Mac and how the filthy bastard does that - a notched kext with a description? Is it possible to fix without having to do a fresh install of Mac OS X? $ 1 million for any help thanks you girls and guys can give me. I could really do with him right now. Not what you could call a good introduction to the world of Macs.

Before purchasing a used computer, you must have run Apple Diagnostics or the Apple Hardware Test, whichever is applicable.

The first thing to do after the acquisition of the computer is to wipe the internal drive and install a new copy of Mac OS X. You - not the original owner, must do. Changes made by Apple over the years have made this very complex seemingly simple task.

How would you do it depends on the model, and if you already have another Mac. If you are not sure of the model, enter the serial number on this page. Then, find the model on this page to see which version of the OS was initially installed.

It is dangerous and may be illegal to use a computer with software installed by a previous owner.

    1. If you do not have another Mac

    a. If the machine comes with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a Snow Leopard install disc (OS X 10.6) retail boxed and "Shrink Wrap" on the Apple Store or a reputable dealer - no eBay or something of the sort. If the machine is very old and has less than 1 GB of memory, you need to add in order to install 10.6. Preferably, install as much memory can take, according to the technical specifications.

    (b) if the machine comes with OS X 10.6, you need the installation media that accompanies it: gray installation discs, or a USB flash drive for a MacBook Air. You should have received the media of the original owner, but if you do not, order replacements from Apple. A disc at retail, or the gray discs of another model, will not work.

To start from an optical disc or a flash drive, insert it, and then restart the computer and hold the C key to start ringing. Release the button when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.

    c. If the machine comes with OS X 10.7 or later version, you don't need media. It should start in the mode of Recovery of the Internet when you hold down the key combination option-command-R to start ringing. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe. Note that Mac Pro models turn over end of 2014 (with the box of "cheese grater") cannot use Internet recovery, regardless of what version of OS they shipped with. The Mac Pro round (2014 or later) can use it.

    d. some models 2010-2011 comes with OS X 10.6 and received a firmware update after 10.7 was released, allowing them to use Internet recovery. If you have one of these models, you cannot reinstall 10.6 even from the original media, and recovery of the Internet won't work either without Apple ID of the original owner, in this case, contact Apple technical supportor take the machine to an Apple Retail Store or other authorized service provider to have an operating system installed.

    2. If you do not have another Mac

If you already have another Mac which has been upgraded in the App Store to the version of Mac OS X that you want to install, and if the new Mac is compatible with it, then you can install it. Use the recovery disk wizard to prepare a USB device, and then starts the new Mac of it by pressing the C key to start ringing. Alternatively, if you have a backup of OS X Time Machine 10.7.3 or later on an external hard drive (not a time Capsule or other network device), you can start by holding down the option key and clicking in the row of icons that is displayed. Note that if your other Mac has never updated in the App Store, you can not use this method.

3 partition and install OS X

a: If you see a lock screen trying to boot from the support installation or recovery mode, then a firmware password has been defined by the previous owner, or the machine was locked remotely via iCloud. You will need to either contact the owner or by the machine to an Apple Retail Store or other provider of service to be unlocked. May asked you proof of ownership.

    b. launch disk utility, and then select the internal drive icon - no volume icons nested beneath it. In the Partition tab, select the default options: a partition table GUID with the volume of data in Mac OS extended (journaled) format. This permanently deletes all existing data on the disk.

    c. an unusual problem can occur if all the following conditions apply:

OS X 10.7 or later version has been installed by the previous owner

The boot volume has been encrypted with FileVault

You start in recovery mode (that is, not of a 10.6 disk installation)

In this case, you will not be able to unlock the volume or partition the drive without the FileVault password. Ask for advice or see this discussion of the CSA.

    d. after partitioning, quit disk utility and run the OS X Installer. If you install a version of OS X was acquired from the App Store, you will need the Apple ID and password you used. When the installation is complete, the system reboots automatically in the Migration Wizard, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have all the data to be transferred, it is usually the best time to do it.

    e. run the software update and install all available Apple system updates. To upgrade to a major version of Mac OS X newer than 10.6, get it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can not keep an improved version that was installed by the first owner. He or she cannot legally transfer to you, and without the Apple ID, you will be able to update in a software update or reinstall, if it becomes necessary. Is the same for all App Store products that the previous owner installed, you will need to buy.

    4. other issues

    a. If the original owner "accepted" bundled iLife (iPhoto, iMovie and Garage Band) applications in the App Store so that he or she could put up-to-date, IRREVOCABLY linked to that Apple ID and you can download them without having to buy them. Reportedly, the Mac App Store Customer Service sometimes issued codes of reimbursement for these applications to second owners who asked.

    (b) if the previous owner has not Deauthorize the computer in the iTunes Store under his Apple ID, you will not be able to authorize immediately under your username. In this case, you will have either to wait up to 90 days or contact iTunes Support.

    c. When you try to create a new iCloud account, you could get a failure message: "Account limit reached." Apple imposes a limit of life of three configurations by device iCloud account. Erasure of the unit does not reset the limit. You can always use iCloud account that was created on another device, but you will not be able to create a new. Contact iCloud Support for more information. Configuration limit does not apply to the Apple ID accounts used for other services, such as iTunes and Mac App Store or iMessage. You can create as many accounts you want.

  • How can I reinstall the operating system on a new hard drive?

I strongly suspect failure of hard drive on my old computer XPS 420. Data recovery isn't a problem. However, because the way I too lazy to buy a whole new operating system, is possible that I can transfer the installation of Windows Vista on a new hard drive? I told me that Dell will send me an installation disc to do, but how to make a record like this, and is there another way?

I'm thinking of ghosting the HDD on another and the use of the recovery for nuke partition in a new facility, but it would even work?

    Thank you

    SnarfTCat

The simplest method, I prefer to install a replacement hard drive, is to clone the existing hard drive to the new, that will also transfer all applications and programs.

You need an imaging utility, similar to True Image Home 2015.

    http://www.Acronis.com/homecomputing/products/TrueImage

Acronis resize partitions transferred to match the size of the new hard drive.

Hard drive manufacturers, also have their own free cloning software available, but it can be used only with their hard drives.

First, install the new drive as the secondary and the image of the main hard drive in it.

Immediately after the cloning, shut down the system, switch the data cable [SATA port 0] to the new disk, making the new master hard drive and see if the system boots properly.

Start the system with only the new hard drive connected.

Be sure to leave the original drive disconnected, until the new hard drive is working to your satisfaction.

Before cloning a hard drive, make sure that the existing drive has no corruption or virus on it, because they will be transferred to the new hard drive.

It will take a second SATA data cable, there should be a spare connector to SATA power inside the housing.

What is obtaining a disc from the Dell operating system Vista OEM [If Dell still copies of this available media], but you can be out of luck unless you have a warranty from Dell, but it's worth a try to see what is happening.

If you reside in the United States, or the Canada and are the registered owner of the computer, with an active warranty, a disk that contains the operating system specific to your system factory installed can be requested HERE.

Note: Dell may impose a charge for the disc.

If you do not live in the United States, contact the Support from Dell, which is located in your country.

  • install windows 7 from download - this disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system

I downloaded Windows 7 from MS with a liscence on a computer running Windows 8. I wrote the ISO on a DVD but when I try to read every DVD I see is a readme file that contains the text "this disc contains a"UDF"file system and requires an operating system

Use the following to burn the. ISO to a blank DVD file:

After graduating the .iso file, you use the Microsoft .iso to USB/DVD tool to create a bootable DVD or USB (requires a blank DVD or USB flash to at least 4 GB key).

You can also burn the. ISO natively in Windows 8 file:

  • AppWorld select the lowest BONE or the current operating system?

    Hello

I'm going to relase multiple filebundles to take in charge several OS (thanks to the ads BB 'simplified' requirement). My question is like this:

I have created 4 filebundles for operating system specific (4.5, 4.6, 5.0, 6.0) and select all the devices for each filebundles. AppWorld detects the device OS and that it points to the related filebundles or it will automatically direct the device at the lowest that the device operating system supported?

    IE Bold9000 OS 5.0 - Download 4.5? or 5.0?

Why I asked because, as Bold900, there are some with OS5 and others with OS4.6. If both my filebundles 4.6 and 5.0 have Bold9000 selected which one it will be downloaded? Based on the device on the operating system, or the lowest BONE, the device can support?

App World will serve as the correct version based on the operating system device. For example "BOLD" with OS 5.0 will receive version 5.0, "BOLD" with OS4.6 will receive the 4.6 version.

  • Windows 8 could not apply updates, changes, without system restart

Hi, I have a question for the community. I inherited laptop family which had been neglected for a year or two, and the user only became interested in this topic when it became virtually unusable. Usually, I have no problem to fix things, but this one left me speechless. I am preparing him to be his main portable College. All answers are appreciated! Thank you.

    The problem

    1. The first thing I did was clean reallyyyy good. The anti-virus scanner found and quarantined 17 virus, and 74 infected files and those isolated thus found malware scanner. I did two of each type of scan, and he showed clean. So I don't know, I work with a system bug free.
    2. Then I went to Windows Update and saw that there were 102 important updates waiting to be installed. I laughed pretty hard and then install them. There is no problem downloading or installation of updates, and it prompted me to restart my computer.
    3. After the restart, he said briefly that he was applying updates. And then he said: "failure Configuring Windows Updates. Changes in recovery', and he stays on this screen for nearly an hour and let me finally reconnect.
    4. To ebb in Windows Update, it has installed updates not listed as 'Impossible '.

    What I tried

    1. The tool for troubleshooting Windows 8 "online, Mr. Fix it."
    2. Online draft and the installation of the Windows update that updates the Windows Update program (I don't have the number on me, but I can pick up if necessary)
    3. Installation of a few at a time
    4. Only install the update as soon as possible
    5. Update of article 8.1; He won't let me not until I install the remaining updates, which I am obviously unable to do

And after adding only two programs of installing the base, YET the the DO COULD NOT.

Of course, here, I could see that he had to now be one of the two programs, Google Chrome and Comodo Antivirus.

It turns out that these errors were caused by a misconfigured firewall and an excess of zeal, even if my comodo firewall with the same settings on Windows 7 had no problems.

But apparently, it considers that the program Windows Update in Windows 8 is a bit sketchy haha.

A simple rule change fixed it! Thank you.
