• Project file still CS5 does not open - any suggestions?

  I have a recently created (and saved) project that I've been able to reopen and modify for my client several times in the past two months, but now refuses to open (even the backup copy). I get the following error when opening the project:

  "Cannot open the project; This project file was not found. »

  Nothing has moved from its original location - always in the same folder when I created it and worked on it.

  Does anyone know of a workaround to solve this?

  Thank you very much - I don't really want to have to start all over again on this project-, or I will still never approve with a major client project if it is a normal behavior!

  Just open the old project I'll work a bit.  Here are the two things:

  First of all, I had one of the issues I mentioned above.  Source assets were not available, and yet it flexes and gives me a chance to locate them - just as we would like.  I expected this and can be achieved without them - except that I discovered that in both cases, the source file has been converted prior to importation, and still does not create a new version of this.

  Second, I can create the error that you got (project cannot be opened; file not found) by copying the entire directory (containing folders and files .ncor), then changing the name of the ncor file without changing the project folder again (it is at the same level as the project file).  Therefore, if the project file is named "sample.ncor" still has created a folder called "sample" (and inside the folder is "cache" and "sources" etc.).  Rename sample.ncor in sample1.ncor with a project with her record still named the sample results in the error.  Chaning this folder to sample1 name translates into no error.

  I'm not saying it's the only way, this error occurs, but look at your .ncor file - what is the name?  What is the name of the project folder?

• We have upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007. How to save a file in Excel 2007 so when it is opened, it suggests to be opened as a read only file? I looked in the help files and have not been able to find.

• open to suggestions for a hard drive maxtor warranty

  My friend has a Stardoll E510 that the hard drive started making rattling noises.  I did a diag and he returned with a servo error.  System would not start of course. I put a new hard drive into the system and installed the operating system and works very well.  My maxtor/seagate problem will not take possession of a defective hard drive (less than 5 years).  They say, Dell is expected to replace because it was installed in the dell when urchased how do I do it?  I want a drive to replace the one I have installed in the system.

• Suggestions of YouTube are not loading. They are responsible for a second then it turns into a white empty box. I checked the aboutconfig and I was already true 2

  I'm 13.0.1 on windows 7 and I have adblock and download helper. Since the recent update for firefox, youtube suggestions that appear on the right side of the page does not load correctly. When the 1st page opens the suggestions is there, but a few seconds later late only a clear white box appears. I searched on google and found that I should check aboutconfig and change a setting to true. Well setting was already true so this isn't the question and I have not made any other changes. Firefox is a great product, and I've never had problems. I must say however that this youtube thing is pretty annoying. Any suggestions on how to fix?

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

• I accidentally entered username and password together. now firefox 5 suggests their time revealing password to another user. How to clear?

  You need a viewer to view these files - don't know if the Word application on the computer is able to access the files on the cloud - you can either try to save the file in Pages to be accessed in iCloud or store on OneDrive where native Word Viewer will allow you to make

• Suggestion for replacement of HDD on my dv7t-CTO

  My laptop is now about 3 years old and works ok, but my 250 GB hard drive is too full, despite deleting and archiving of photos, music, etc.

  I would like suggestions as to what size of disk hard I should think to (I think a 1 TB) but am open to suggestions.  I've never done it by myself, but am pretty tech savvy and will have my full hd saved so I can just do a restore when the new hard drive was installed.

  Is this what I should that knowledge/think about it before trying it by myself?

• using a VI to open another stand alone program

  Hey guys,.

  I would like for my program to be started by the user and some bring to pour some selections that would then open up a new program stand alone. Where each individual program would actually the bulk of the program as a whole and perhaps utalize its own probably producer consumer model. Once the secondary program ends, I would like it to return to the original program for the user to make new selections and open an another prgram.

  to me, this feels do able as having essentially a main loop that calls functions only.

  If someone could just link me an article or something that would be great. I was looking around and found something on this call chain VI, is part of what I need?

  You can do this visually adjusting the Visual parameters on your VI.

  I usually use a custom configuration and call before Panel.Window.State property on your VI, it should look like this:

  Do the reverse on your slot - VI and you will get a break. You will also need to make some changes to the section of the appearance of the properties of the VI window.

  This will give you a visual appearance and the type of break you're looking for.  Also, you probably want to use a structure of the event as your main loop function.

• Do not open the Menu start XP programs

  I have an embarrassing question on which I could use some suggestions.

  I have a user whose start menu does not work properly.  She can click on start and cascade through the menu to any program, but when she clicks on the program to start it, delete the start menu and nothing happens.

  In the taskbar, it cannot switch between programs.

  Programs will launch quick launch as planned.

  On his desk, she can click on folders or shortcuts and that they work as expected.

  I copied the folder to the start menu to his office, and she is able to switch between open programs using the Alt - Tab key combination.  It has the features between these two solutions.  But, although other users do not start to his computer often, it affects all users.  I would like to find a solution.

  With respect to the environment and the measures taken:

  The operating system is Windows XP, Service Pack 3.  Yes, there are 3rd party applications.  A lot of them.  No, they cannot be deleted (and they are not suspects - later).  It is an environment of large companies in the financial sector and is highly regulated.  User authentication is via Active Directory.  The desktop environment is tightly controlled by the restriction of administrative rights and Group Policy objects.  This user and users in its region use roaming profiles.

  I have rebuilt the user profile (Yes, two copies - the and itinerant) more than once.  No effect.

  I have reimagee the computer of the user more than once.  It will work as expected for a few minutes, sometimes all day, but the issue will be back.

  It can connect to any other machine in its region and they all work as expected.  The machines are all the same image.  That's why the 3rd party applications are not suspected.  That's why his profile is not a suspect.

  So.  His profile is very good.  Its hardware is fine.  The image is stable.  The rest is its connection to the local network, but I have a hard time believing that something in its routing path might be the cause.

  I'm open to suggestion.

• Some programs does not open in Windows 7

  A new laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed. Some programs will not open, Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, after double clicking the icons a timer gets up, goes and nothing happens. Also, impossible to open the network and sharing Center, a window appears on the screen, but it is blank and freezes. The same thing happens when you try to view the settings of the firewall. Tried to do a system restore but this wedge in the initial phase, is to expire. Everything has worked the first time the laptop was used, but now these problems are happening.

  What happened between now when things don't work, and when they worked at the start? Is there an application or driver installation or any other change in Setup?
  Because things are not open, I suggest doing a restore to the time/date even earlier if possible.
