T232hl

Hi-

I have a T272hl monitor and it works perfectly, has decided to add a T232hl for my system as a second monitor. When I did earlier today, it works and looks great, except when I touch the T232hl, the T272hl not responding T232hl monitor.  It's as if the computer thinks that I touch the T272hl

and not the T232hl itself.

I have the 1st monitor such as the T272hl and the T232hl as my 2nd monitor.  The 1st monitor is set to expand the display.  Overall, don't know why my touch the T232hl would have an impact on the T272hl monitor.

I disconnected and reapplied the USB.  Used two different USB cables.  Don't know what else to do?

Suggestions, please?  Thank you.

UPDATE: its been a few days and no one Support Acer has offered assistance yet.  What gives?

MY CONCLUSION: The touch T232hl works very well as an individual primary monitor only.  Touchscreen DOES NOT WORK on this monitor my primary monitor (T272hl) is active.  Thus, two touch screens only can work at a time which is not at all my desired workflow.

  • Loss of T232HL Acer audio

    Hey all,.

As he tried to get another audio device works, I disabled the audio of the T232HL under his--> reading--> reading--> properties devices. The aircraft disappeared later in the list, and I had no chance to get him back. Note that this is under the new upgrade of Windows 10. It was working fine until I turned it off (which was supposed to be temporary). No idea how I can get Windows to recognize the device again?

    Thank you.

    icedawg,

On the reading tab, you can right-click and do see the disabled devices, which should bring back if it isn't already done.

  • T232HL using with laptop: key always assigned to laptop screen

    Hi all

I have attached the T232HL Acer to a Vaio laptop, running Windows 7 64 bit. The latest version of the driver is installed. The touch works very well when the laptop monitor is mirrored or the screen of the laptop is turned off.

But when I have the extension of the screen, so that the laptop and T232HL show different areas, the action of contact is always assigned to the screen of the laptop.

In Control Panel, I made the T232HL the main monitor and I tried different positions, for example putting the T232HL on the left side of the laptop in the display settings. Nothing helps. The mouse settings, stylus and touchscreen Windows aren't any help either.

How can I assign action to touch the Acer monitor?

    Thanks for your help,

    Tyron

    Tyron,
I am sorry you did not set up your multiple tactile display configuration. I did some research on the issue and have found several topics on the issue. I found a "fix" of Microsoft if you have not tried, I would recommend download and installation; http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2618640. After trying to run the calibration tool as I suggested in my previous post.

I also read, from a source of third party on the web, in Windows 7 touch input is limited to the main screen. According to Microsoft, Windows 7 native touch does not simultaneously support multiple touchscreens. To use multiple screens with touch input, you can use another touch APIs, such as the MultiTouch CornerStone C++ (or Flash/AS3), or touching information streaming protocols, such as TUIO or XML.

If the "fix" does not solve the problem and you have the driver for Windows 7 of our support site, then it can be as above or a limitation of the driver that this monitor is compatible Windows 8 touch.

  • T232HL touch screen not working not not - something different

Several months ago the touch part of the screen stop working (Windows 7 SP1), although the screen itself works well. I lived all the Acer and Microsoft and testing solutions suggested with no luck. Initially after the touchscreen to quit smoking, Windows couldn't find the USB drivers for the part of the touch screen of this monitor. Then after several months, he found a 'CoolTouch (TM) system"pilot for the HID Composite device and Windows now shows that the touch screen is-button entry with 10 Touch Points available Changing the settings of Pen and Touch have no effect. It seems that Microsoft-provided USB drivers have been changed and now are not available for my system, because it will load the wrong drivers when the USB cable is connected. Anyone out there have any idea of what is happening?

It seems that I received a gift - Christmas the Acer touchscreen mysteriously started working again. I note that the current touchscreen features are very different from the originals, which suggests either Microsoft or Acer have streamlined the entire pilot, corrected the problem and that the drivers now only support standard features of Microsoft. I hope that this continuous touch screen to work correctly, and that whoever is behind the scene screwing with this software will be a bit more diligent in the future.

  • iTunes Store right off screen

This problem happened when I tried the zoom control while browsing the iTunes store. I zoomed in while watching the store on my second monitor. When I've wound up and opened later on the main monitor, the store screen has enlarged very close. When the zoom, I saw that not only have I lost the side scroll bar, but the whole screen has been moved offshore to the right, leaving white areas on the left. Worse yet, the mouse has been save is no longer where it was pointing, but rather to the wide to the right. Pointing to the 4th album "new music" line caused highlight the 6th album. I am also unable to access the right sidebar with redemption codes and top songs visualization options. I will include a screenshot of my problem as well.

I am running iTunes 12.3.3 on PC Windows OS 8.1, which is a "Super Viper" MARINE ATX-321WB with standard plug, my main monitor is an Acer T232HL touch screen (1920 x 1080 res) and the second is a Dynex 25 screen ' TV (1360 x 768 res). So far (I think) have tried everything from resizing the window screen and iTunes, using the arrow keys, and the key to the VICTORY change window settings in iTunes properties and reset the cache store. If anyone has a similar problem or ideas on how to solve this problem, I would be very happy.

Did anyone answer this yet? I have the same problem, can't get an answer anywhere!

  • HP ENVY 700 and ACER T232 HL

I just bought the desktop computer, running Windows 8 and monitor ACER T 232 I saw at best buy as a monitor capable of 'touch '.  I can't get this thing to perform as a touchscreen.  I have attached the DVI output of the computer and the USB cable, enabling sound through the monitor, but no touchscreen capability.  How can I activate the touch?  Thanks for your help

It seems that the Acer T232HL touchmonitor requires cables in option for selected functions. For these features, this monitor requires the use of a USB cable, cable DVI and cable audio 3.5 mm. Since you have audio and video, these cables must be connected, but you may have disconnected a USB cable if you do not get 'touch '. Please check your connections and make sure you have connected all three.

  • connection to a monitor touchscreen at the Pavilion 17 e - 137cl

I would use the ability to touch screen on when I have an external screen connected with this ability (Acer T232HL).   He updated Windows 8.1 but I can't find a way to initiate stylus and touch to the outdoor screen.  Is this possible?

Connect the usb cable the screen provided with between the port at the back of the screen and your laptop.

After you do this, Windows should recognize the device and install the appropriate on its own drivers.
