  For the T400, anything with the model from 27 number * switchable graphics aura. Intel only units begin with 6 * or 7 *.

  T410 is somehow an investment more complex. Yet, I must find a way to differentiate units only Intel of their brothers and sisters from nVidia...

  That being said, unless you are intent on gaming - where a T410 would be a pretty poor choice in any case - I suggest to get an Intel machine only.

  According to specification for laptop, your laptop has a battery with PA3817U-1BRS part number.
  If you need replacement battery I recommend you to search on the net online shop where you can buy a similar battery with the same reference number and the Toshiba name written on the battery label.

  Many other models of laptops have a battery the same inside. For example C640, C670, L730, L750 or P750.

  In any case, use part number for the order of the stack.

  I found exactly the same info as you. Googling around shops PC offer battery (Li-ion, 9 cell, 6000mAh) PA3535U - 1BRS Satellite A200. If they all offer the same one I don't see any reason why you should buy this one.

  I have a 110 SA50 Satellita and realize I need urgently replace the battery, and of course, I want to upgrade, if I have to invest, of to maybe 6600 or even 8800mAh 4400mAh. However, when I browse the various shops online, I can't find any offer to my laptop SA50-110 model, which seems to be somewhat exotic for a reason unknown to me. Instead, I find a lot of offers for other models, as for SA50-100 or - 105.

  If I search for the specification of the battery (PA3356U-2BRS), I have similar problems, find a suitable replacement.

  Can someone help me out here? Can I buy battery for a 100, that will fit the 110 for example? The thumbnails I found look quite promising, but of course I can't count on that impression.

  Unfortunately, I couldn't find any other compatible battery so I highly recommend you to use the original battery.

  What you can possibly check is compatible batteries for C650D:
  PA3787U-1BRS
  PA3817U-1BRS
  PA3818U-1BRS
  PA3820U-1BRS

  Google around a bit and see if you can use them with your C650. At least, you can contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. They can help you with this.

  "Compatible" batteries are what I call 'knock offs '. They are manufactured in factories in China who cannot adhere to work practices you would tolerate. Otherwise, how can they do a laptop battery for $20-30 shipped from China? However, they are usually good usable batteries and I sheepishly admits their purchase from time to time for laptops more alumni where it is difficult to justify the $80 for a battery.

  I am considering moving to a T430s of a T400. I was very pleased with the durability and quality of my T400 of construction and would like to know how it compares to a T430s.   Quality wise, the T430s is a step up from the old and the T400s T410s. It is not as strong as the T400/T61 chassis, to withstand the rigor of daily use.

  The only thing you need to get use to is the screen (that needs calibration) and the new keyboard.

  But the T430s can run quite hot if pushed, so if you play CPU/GPU intensive games, then it will heat.

  My T430s with Intel graphics card can be obtained at approximately 95 ° C when the CPU and the GPU is stressed.

  Another option, in addition to the advanced dock + pci express videocard samira mentioned above, is an adapter USB-to-DVI and Lenovo.
