• T420S display switch to 50 Hz battery power

  I just got my T420s, and I love it, except for a boredom that I can't mitigate. No matter what options I choose, whenever I draw from the power adapter, the display of flickers for a second, back to the top, and of course, it went to 50 Hz. When I plug the power back in, it flashes again and back to 60 Hz.

  I tried everything I can think of. I did the graphics properties and made sure to turn off all the power saving features when the battery is selected. I tried the new 60 Hz after setting that it has introduced to 50 Hz then on the battery. This work until the power is reconnected and then removed, at which point, she goes back to 50 Hz.

  This happens as well with the display of Lenovo and Intel a genereic driver. It happens with the preloaded image that comes with the laptop and with a clean install. I don't know if it's a bug with the drivers, or Power Manager software. Does anyone else have this problem?

• HP DV2700 Changed LCD not always no display

  I have a 28 - month old HP DV2700 special edition (Yes with the Nvidia chip dreaded). It worked fine until a week ago, when I decided to clean the keyboard and keys. I had removed the battery so that the laptop would not whenever I hit the button of power by mistake. After I'm done cleaning I booted the laptop, the LCD lit with a glimmer of the backlight, but no video. Activity normal HARD drive and the laptop starts fine with the sounds and everything. Tried to boot several times with the same results. I also did this 45 sec power tip button, without success. Based on the Google search, I did, I made a list of the components could fail and began to exclude one after the other. Here's where I am.

  1 NVIDIA chip soldering - well I get a display on the external monitor, which should not be sufficient for this rule? Always I opened the laptop to access the chip down a bit on it and nothing more.

  2 inverter & backlight - opens the entire screen and couldn't see the bright backlight. Even the screen brightness controls are working and I can see the screen go dark and bright, but not picture.   3 display switch stuck - open only to the top also, nothing stuck there. I can clearly see the screen goes black once I press it and shine again when I release him.

  Finally bit the bullet and did a REFORMAT on the Nvidia GPU with a hairdryer. The fix for penny to make did also last longer. Works perfectly now. Was surprised to see the video works on the first try.

  I'm running Windows Vista Home premium on a laptop Toshiba Satellite. Had this system for 2 years + with zero problems. When there is a couple of days, it starts normally, but then suddenly all of the returned screen upside down. I'm running the Intel 945 chipset graphics accelerator. I tried uninstallling and reinstall without success. As soon as the Chipset Intel settles, the display switches. Everything works well, and there is no problem with the Display Mode without failure. Have made backups religiously, but much to my dismay, I have neglected to install a point of system restore initial on this machine!

  Our office just to pass the storm, and I'm the only person on 15 with this question, so I hope someone here can help me.  When you use the storm, the display switches from portriat format landscape with changes in the orientation of the phone.  This feature works with all aspects of the phone except email and text messaging.  When I use the e-mail or text messaging, the phone in portrait and landscape mode will not turn.  As soon as I get out of e-mail or text messaging, the phone turns freely again based on the orientation of the phone.

  I looked through the different screens and can't find anything that shows me a framework for this.  Other storms used in our office change orientation in the email and SMS from portrait to landscape without problem, so there must be a setting somewhere that I can't find.  I compared my phone for a few others and have not been able to locate all the differences in implementing on my device compared to theirs.

  Apparently, the proxy server that uses the KFSCaRoot certificate (which does not much research) is imperfect if it allows some sites around.

  Try using Chrome for this next step, which is to display and export the certificate signature, assuming that you trust little matter it is to read all your traffic.

  Export

  • Open a secure chrome site and click on the padlock icon in the address bar. Click Connect to find the link to display the certificate.
  • In certificate Chrome display, switch to the Certification Path tab, click on the cert you want to export and use the button view the certificate to open directly. (This isn't the site's certificate, but the certificate used by the proxy to sign certificates fake site.)
  • Click on the Details tab, and then click the Copy to file button. This will start the Export Wizard. Use the DER format and save to a convenient location.

  Import
