  • Plugged in, but does not load?

My g6-2116nr Pavilion is only 3 months ago, but it will not load. While it is plugged in, it says that it is plugged in, but do not load. the only way so he could start charging is to let the battery run out and load it then (I don't let not run out on purpose). Occasionally, while it is fully charged, it also won't tell when the battery is down, and it will be a strange ammount of supposed autonomy (it will say that it has 130 hours of battery life, which it doesn't). Can someone help me?

    Hello

First, shut down the laptop, unplug the power adapter, remove the battery and then hold the Power button for 30 seconds.

Now, plug in the AC adapter without the battery inserted, start Notepad, open windows control panel, open Device Manager, expand the entry for the battery, on the right, click on and compatible Microsoft ACPI control method battery and select Uninstall - do uninstall not something else here.  When the uninstall is complete, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter, reinsert the battery and then start the laptop's battery.  Windows will automatically reinstall the driver - leave Windows running for a few minutes. Shut down the laptop again.  Now plug the power adapter (with the inserted battery always) and start the laptop to see if it helped the issue at all.

    Hello

It could be a number of reasons of a battery discharged to a problem with the charging circuit.

You neglected to mention which version of Windows you are using.

You can create a detailed report on the State of the battery to double check the battery status.

    1. go to Start / all programs / Accessories. Click on the command prompt and select run as administrator.

2 in the command prompt window, copy / paste the following command.

    powercfg-energy-output %userprofile%\desktop\energy-report.html

    Press ENTER.

Wait for the command to complete (usually about 2 minutes).

This create a file named energy - report.html and place it on your desktop.

3 go to your desktop and double-click the file to open.

Scroll to the bottom for the battery: battery information section.

    You will see:

    Xxxxx full last Charge

    (Where xxxxx is a number)

    Concerning

  • New Windows 7, when it is plugged in, battery does not charge.

I just downloaded Windows 7 Professional for my laptop, Acer Aspire 5535, and when I plug it in, it is said that it is plugged in, does not support.  It is stuck at 96% and go any higher.

I rebooted, it disconnected, let him go down to 1% and hip again, and it will not load.

    Thank you!

The following has worked for me.  I installed a new spare battery less than a week ago.  today I received the message "plugged in, not charging" which is generated by the Microsoft software, called 'Battery method control compatible ACPI Microsoft.'  I disabled this software and the battery started to load.  I have powered down, removed and re-installed just battery to make sure it was properly installed, rebooted and activated the software 'Compatible Microsoft ACPI Control method battery'.  everything seems to be back to normal.

  • Logitech headset plugged in, but does not work.

I have a logitech USB headset H540.  When I plug it into my pc I hear no sound either, I tried to reinstall each sound driver, but it does not always work.  When I go to properties or to solve problems, it keeps saying my devices are turned off, but I've never disabled them and I can't turn it back on?  What is going on?  When I try to test them too and go to levels, nothing appears!  IM really confused because some time ago my other headset was working but now I can't hear anything when I plug in a usb headset.

    Hello Matheau,

Thank you for the update on the question and sorry for a delayed response.

Try it mentioned below for the methods to solve the problem and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

    Method 1

Try to check that the service responsible for tone is running or not. You can try the steps below to start the service.

    1. Press the button window + R to open the Run dialog box.
    2. In the run box, type services.msc.
    3. Now, locate the Windows audio service in the list.
    4. Check if it is started, if not, right click on the service and click Start.
    5. Close the services window, and then restart your computer.
    6. After restarting your computer and then check the status of the sound.

    Method 2

If the problem persists, you can try to update the audio drivers and check the status.

Drivers are updated occasionally. Windows can update automatically, or you can install the drivers updated yourself. It is important for you to have confidence in the updated drivers that you install. Windows warns you if it detects a suspicious or dangerous driver, you should not install.

You can check the link below to update the drivers and check the status.

    Update drivers: recommended links

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/update-drivers-recommended-links#update-drivers-recommended-links=Windows-7

    Method 3

If the problem persists you can view the tutorial below which can help you identify and fix common sound problems in Windows, including no sound from your speakers or headphones. This tutorial does not cover sound problems related to specific programs. Sound problems can be caused by cables that are not connected properly, damaged drivers, incompatible drivers, sound settings, missing updates and problems with your sound card.

    No sound in Windows

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

  • Windows starts, but does not charge not (black screen with cursor)

[Sorry for the long post, but I feel the need to explain my situation]

    I have the following problem:

I turn on my PC, and Windows shows it is normal loading screen, then it goes in a completely black screen, with just the mouse in the middle. By the size of the cursor, I can say that it is in a low resolution, probably 800 x 600 (compared to my usual 1920 x 1080). I am able to movements of the mouse, but with no particular purpose without something to click on. No other keyboard input seems to work, except for press SHIFT 5 times, which shows the keys dialog box to self-retaining (with just 'yes' or 'No' options, no other connection); and Windows key + U, which shows the ease of access Center. CTR + Alt + Del does NOT work.

So far, that's what I tried (in chronological order):

    1. Start in Safe Mode, Safe Mode with network, safe mode with command prompt Mode, start low resolution video, last known good configuration: all give the same result as to start normally.
    2. Repair of your computer:
      1. Startup Repair: find the registry errors (I realized and fixed this more later on)
      2. System Restore: did not find any previous restore points (I know with certainty that there is, I took the habit of making regular restore points).
      3. Windows memory diagnostic: not found error.
      4. Command prompt:
        1. Ran the command chkdsk /f r, has no error report.
        2. Ran sfc/scannow: I don't remember the exact report, but he asked to restart the computer to complete the repair of the problems. I rebooted and ran the new order for the same result.
        3. Forced the scan with: sfc/scannow damaged = c: \ /offwindir = c:\windows, concluded and repair errors, not always not load windows.
    3. Ran Dell Diagnostics start, found no errors.
    4. Startup Repair ran found once again the registry errors. I found the solution to this in a forum for Microsoft Help ( answers.microsoft.com/.../f77d5355-b8be-41d6-af24-cae994e1768f ) and fixed the problem. I rebooted, but the problem persists.
    5. Startup Repair does not detect now no error. I tried restoring the system again, we find 2 restore points dated AFTER the beginning of my problem. I decided to restore it in any case, but none of them worked.
    6. I ran Windows Defender in offline mode:
      1. Quick scan: and found 2 threats and remove.
      2. Full system scan: found 4 more threats, removed 2 of them, the other two could not be removed because they were in an ISO file.
    7. I've tried steps 1, 2 and 3 with no luck.

With every step, I am aware that I am closer to having to reinstall Windows, then I decided to see if I could still access my HD to save my personal files. I did a live Linux CD (with Ubuntu), but I have a problem of mounting the readers, because they are in a RAID0 configuration. "sudo dmraid s" gives the following error: "ERROR: Sie: number of devices in RAID wrong value"isw_dbdffjficc_ARRAY0"[1/2] on/dev/sdb.

    Important details:

I changed my graphics about 4 months ago (a 750ti of Nvidia GTX for an ATI Radeon HD 6450), and told me that I can run short with the power supply. The new card requires a minimum of 450W, and I think that my diet is 460W. This may or may not have something to do with this question, I have no idea.

My 2 hard drives of 500 GB RAID0 configuration has brought me a lot of problems of the day 1. One of the HARD drive would be randomly (I am able to hear a clicking sound different when this happens) failure and the computer would break. At the start, he would ask a boot device. The Dell boot utility would then recognize only 1 readers, but would end without errors. After a reboot or two, everything would be fine and would be boot windows normally (apart from the usual error recovery screen) with no sign of corrupted data or anything. As I said, it happened are the arrival of my PC, but restarting a couple of times still attached. From now on, the two HD seems to work very well, the Dell utility recognizes two of them and found no errors in one of them, and I can access any directory from the command prompt.

Is there anything else I should try before reinstalling Windows?

Before the installation, I really wish I could recover my files (I have important documents of the College), is it possible to do this?

Sorry again for the very long post (and for any errors of language, English is not my native language) and thanks in advance.

Since you have not yet had your data readers. I recommend a Windows installation without formatting the drive... I don't like this solution, but at this point, you have probably tried everything.

Use a reinstallation of Windows 7 installation DVD, make sure that you select...

Select custom: Install Windows only (Advanced)

If you do not select one of the route options and everything simply highlight the largest partition and click Next:

  • Battery "connected, charge", but DOES not charge.

    Hello

I've recently updated in Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium.  With Vista, my battery played very beautifully and I've never had problems.  As soon as I have upgraded to Windows 7, I currently has the following problem:

When I hover over the battery icon in the system tray, it says ' 19% available (plugged in, load).  However, the battery is not at all.  The small farm level animation stops and, although the system seems to thinking that is my battery charge, it is not.  When I first installed the new OS, battery charges to 69% with the same problem, so he went up to 75 percent for about 1 week before in free fall, so that now my battery charge limit is 19%, which, as you can imagine, takes about 15 minutes to the battery power.

After several redundant and unnecessary communications with Microsoft, I thought that maybe someone on this forum might have experience with this problem or any suggestions on what I could try.

Note that it is NOT apparently common problem some people have with the battery saying "plugged in, not charging", that my system is specifically stated the battery recharges when it is not.

It took me some time to get even Microsoft agree the problem they insisted that it was because my battery is a bit old.  However, this happens with the two batteries that I own, using a charger that I have, and, as I said before, it started just when I installed clean Windows 7.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Ryan
