  This error comes from the BIOS, it means that something is wrong detecting mSATA SSD.  It can point to a hardware problem.  It is certainly not a software problem.  I call the helpline in your country and ask what they recommend on this subject.

  Several clues:

  1. HARD and SATA drive in the message... On the way SATA HARD drive
  2. Clicking noise, which is an early signal of imminent death for HARD drive (there are only two types of readers... those who died and those who will be)

  I would like to start keep good clones (CarbonCopyClone, bombich.com, $40) for external drives or backups Time Machine.  Any backup of the drive, not just your favorite parts.  Perform backups on a schedule without fail IMHO.

  You can also start to consider a SSD at macsales.com (their mercury collection is highly recommended) or a new HARD disk, at least start planning if the SSD cost is worth the benefit of speed on the HARD drive.  You can buy it later.

  Just my paranoid approach to this situation.

  My conclusion is therefore that I defintely need address this situation of cable - and free of any error starting 1796 future. Is there a cure?

  Starting this morning, that I was bombarded by a dialog box "Interactive Services Detection" - I have never heard of the program and am not sure what to do with it.   It could be a longshot, but try to move the project to a place where the path is shorter. I had a similar problem (I think I got the same error a few months ago, but I can't be 100% certain), where the epub was not able to generate, and I tried to move my project to another location where the path to the files was shorter. This solves the problem for me.

  I am preparing a newsletter created in Adobe InDesign to send to a printer in Germany.  This is the first time I send a document to the press since her arrival in Germany in February and the first time since upgrading my computer and software for:

  MacBookPro: Model 5.3

  Adobe InDesign: version 6.0.6

  Adobe Acrobat Pro: version 9.4.0

  I tried to change the format of the document to the 612 x 792 'compulsory', and the document was tight in the smallest space, ruining the formatting of document! I have undone the damage and looked further for the preferably incorrect setting.

  There is a wrong setting somewhere, but I can't.

  Distiller rejects the document and does not generate a PDF file. The only other errors detected upstream are from the RGB color space.

  All InDesign Menu print and PDF generator preferences settings are set for A4 format, yet Preflight insists on the fact that the Document

  Size and Orientation are incorrect and suggest to change the size to 612 PT. x 792 pt.

  I also noticed that when you configure the PDF file, I did not check "Optimized for Fast Web view," but when I generated the PDF, it "optimized for fast Web view." It seems that there is some preference somewhere is the substitution of my selections. But where...? !

  I was able to generate a PDF from InDesign (without Distiller) and the printer has been able to use the PDF file.  I learned to always use distilled when sending files to printers and to "Pack" the files.  Is there some risks by sending files without using Distiller?

  In addition to the question of size and page orientation, Europe has different standards for space colors and ink printers also. I would be grateful if someone could shed some light on how I should adapt to European standards.

  ...??? This message to distill indicates you throw your InDesign file on it. Distiller can only distill the PS files.

  2 days ago I started getting the error message "Fan Error" after starting my computer (T530). Before it gives me the message there is a beeping noise hard. I'm going back to school soon and I hope that there is a way to fix it myself without having to buy a new fan. I'm really bad with running on the computers. I am wonderig if I have to clean the dust out of it, or shift the fan or something like that. Hope there is a way to have a quick solution. Thank you all.

  You can try to clean the dust out of the vents and the fan blades. You can also try lubrication of the bearings of fan with a very light oil. That could revive the fan enough to stop "Fan Error" messages for a while. It was enough to revive the fan on my T430s a few months ago, when I'm "Fan Errors" on a trip.

  However as richk says, you really should get a new fan, especially if the T530 is still under warranty. Your fan is very likely to fail again. So I would say do you now before you go back to school instead of have to do with a date school hanging over your head.

  I try to install Windows 7 Home Premium with a USB 2.0 with the placed using Rufus .iso image file. -Sha1 hash is checked if the .iso image file is not corrupted and I get the infamous error of necessary the CD/DVD driver. However, any USB I put in any port is not recognized, when I go to browse. All that I can see is the boot X:\ drive, nothing else, so even if I get the drivers on my USBs they will not be detected at all. I tried to move the USBs to different ports, nothing helps. The USB ports work because my keyboard works, so what's the problem?

  Motherboard is MSI Z170A Gaming m5, trying to do a clean install of Windows 7 on SSD, but it won't let me even go beyond the section missing drivers. Extremely frustrating.

  What I ended up doing was turn off all other bootable devices on my bios and install an MSI tool called win 7 smart tool that installed the drivers on my USB in case children, everyone has the same problem. I do not know how fix it actually since I applied two patches at the same time, but I guess that's the thing about the pilot.
