table 1 d of channels to connect to an input terminal string

I'm trying to connect table 1 d of production chains to an entry of channels, but it will not let me.

An array of strings and a chain are very different things. Your berries seem to contain only a single element, so insert a "index Board" for this element as a simple string.

Where do these constants of string array diagram come from? If it of just a grab constant, schema, the element and move it out of the table container, then remove the table container.

    Hello

Temporarily disable the security software on both computers and check if it makes a difference.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats.  In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • How to write table values to analog channel?

    Hi all

If I have a table of values, is it possible to write these values as an analog voltage and then stop writing when he arrives at the end of the table? If so, how does do this?

I have attached my code that generates a table of frequency swept sinusoidal voltages and I write that out to my analog channel, when I consult my output however, I get the same display of sinusoidal repetitive time and time again. I expect for example:

writing of wave of 1 Hz, 2 Hz, 3 Hz etc...

but I'm getting the 1 Hz wave over and over again, I selected samples in the sample clock and pretty much done a lot of trial and error and still no luck . Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi Daniel!

Take a look at this example (you can find examples of LabVIEW):

Here is an another VI I did (see table). It is slightly different from the example of the LV and it should help you.

    Hi Dexter,

Since you will have two / several switches uplink to which you will have an Ethernet to the North, a what you will have to configure is the layer 2 disjoint.

Yes, you do want to use Array Binding with CLOB or BLOB because of how OIC works. A round trip must occur to the database to get a lob index and a temporary lob must be built for each of them. • SQL SELECT to hierarchical tables: START WITH... CONNECT BY...

This seems to be a simple problem, but I think that I have enough intelligence SQL to solve.

I have a table called DE_DOMAIN. The columns of interest are:
    DOMAIN_ID - PK
    NAME
PARENT_ID - FK (can be NULL), poining to CF of the parent

What I want is: Returns a hierarchical list, containing: column 3 above as well as the NAME of the parent.

Regardless of the name of the parent, it works fine:
    SELECT DOMAIN_ID, PARENT_ID, level
    OF DE_DOMAIN
    WHERE SUPERDOMAINE = 2673
    Start by PARENT_ID IS NULL
    Connect DOMAIN_ID PARENT_ID = prior
BROTHERS AND SŒURS ORDER BY NAME ASC

    and I get:
    11 rec_11 1 Null
    15 rec_15 1 Null
    16 1 Null rec_16
    17 1 Null rec_17
    22 17 2 rec_22
    1 2 17 rec_1
    rec_25 25 17 2
    2 2 17 rec_2

i.e. records with PK = 1, 22, 25, 2 have all like parent record with PK = 17, then the new column name, they must bear the name of the parent (i.e. rec_17).

    A simple idea?
    Thank you very much.

    Hello

You can use the FIRST operator in the SELECT clause.
I don't have a version of your table, so I'll use scott.emp to illustrate:

    SELECT empno

    , mgr
    , PRIOR ename AS mgr_name

CONNECT BY mgr = PRIOR empno

  • "BC of Tables" Wizard use only the first connection

I have two connections in my project - ok!
But when I run the wizard

-> ADF enterprise-level business-> business components of the Tables components

automatically, it uses the first connection. But I want to use the other connection.
What I can do - except the deletion of the first connection?

After the first time you run the wizard of BC, it configures a default connection against the project. Try, right click on the project, the project properties-> of business components and changing the connection which is in the poplist.

  • Can I use virtual channel to connect the different tasks?

    Hi all

I did the A program, which is a DAQ VI implements synchronized I / AO / tasks; and B of the program, in which we use keyboard and buttons on the front panel to control himself. Now, I want to add code to B, so that it can be controlled by the DO of A (so that B can be synchronized with A). I can connect the DI of B and B by the connection of the material, but is it possible that I do it just by the software? I want to generate the files to run for both A and B, so I don't want to add to another program. Any suggestion? Thank you.

    Best wishes

    Bo

    Bo,

You can use queues to transfer data between several screws... with a restriction:

The screw cannot be part of two different applications (exe).

So if you plan to distribute your work, you must make sure that both screws are compiled in the same application; If so, use the queues.

Please note that this is also true if you use user to transfer events.

Another possibility is to use the detection of changes in your DI (depending on equipment)...

    hope this helps,

    Norbert

  • How to connect four counters via Terminal block SC-2345

    Given

    • Acquisition of data USB-6361 mass-termination (Factsheet)

    • SC-2345 carrier (Manual)

    • 2 counter inputs: 2 X 4 rotary encoders

    • 2 counter outputs: 2 PWM signals that modulate the power of benchtop power supply for electromagnets

I connected 1 Encoder and 2 PWM signals to my acquisition of data via Terminal block of the carrier (see diagram on page 28 of the PDF carrier).

The encoder requires A, B, Z, 5V and GND terminals, while each PWM output requires a 'signal' and GND line.

    1. Encoder 1:
      Device - terminal A37/PFI 8 sc - DAQ PFI 8 / CTR0 A
      Unit B - terminal C45/PFI 10 - DAQ PFI 10/CTR0 B sc
      System Z - sc terminal C3/PFI 9 - DAQ PFI 9/CTR0 Z

    2. PWM 1
      signal - terminal sc C40/PFI 13 - OUT PFI 13/CTR1 DAQ

    3. PWM 2
      signal - sc Terminal A1/PFI 14 - OUT PFI 13/CTR2 DAQ

Food and mass are connected to the single power supply and several terminals on the ground in the carrier.

    Problem

I need to connect another Rotary button. I tried to change my setup for the following configuration:

    1 = CTR Encoder 0, Encoder 2 = CTR 1, PWM 1 = CTR 2, 2 PWM = CTR 3

    1. Encoder 1:
      Device - terminal A37/PFI 8 sc - DAQ PFI 8 / CTR0 A
      Unit B - terminal C45/PFI 10 - DAQ PFI 10/CTR0 B sc
      System Z - sc terminal C3/PFI 9 - DAQ PFI 9/CTR0 Z

    2. econder 2:
      Device - terminal C42/PFI 3 sc - DAQ PFI 3 / CTR1 A
      Unit B - terminal C46/PFI 11 - DAQ PFI 11/CTR1 B sc
      System Z - sc terminal C41/PFI 4 - DAQ PFI 4/CTR1 Z

    3. PWM 1
      signal - sc Terminal A1/PFI 14 - OUT PFI 14/CTR2 DAQ

    4. PWM 2
      signal - terminal ? sc / 15 - DAQ OUT 15/CTR3 PFI PFI

But the carrier Terminal has not I/O additional meter terminals. What can I do?

    • Is there an easy way to reconfigure one of the terminals of the unused carrier in PFI 15/CTR 3 OUT?

    • Can I use one of the inputs/outputs analog or digital carrier of input/output meter?
A quick Internet search reveals that this is possible and discouraged to control PWM power supply (which is what I do), so I would use this for encoder input.

    • If I have to resort to changing inputs/outputs analog or digital to counter i/o, that would recommend you - analog or digital?
I think I would use a digital input clocked by the software. Is this correct?

I would be grateful for any insight!

    -Farid

Attached: photo of all the instrument pinout

SC-2345 cannot have been made to manage 4 meters, OR helped to support 4 meters!

It turns out that I could re - route output terminal of a channel by adding a simple 'channel node' block in my VI original, as seen in the example of ' Counter - continuous Output.vi "built-in LabVIEW VI.

Using this method, I rerouted CTR03 OUT via PFI0 instead of PFI15 since the SC-2345 supports a line of PFI0.

  • Connect ALL? inputs and outputs of dll?

    Hello

I'm having some trouble with the errors of access violation that stops at LabView runtime tests. I found this link http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/7253D2F0D91F68058625752F005AB672 where it says that all entries and exits of the calling node must be connected in order to get any memory access problems. My question is, how to fix this? I see for example that some of the vi that we received from National Instruments is inconsistent, for example DAQmx create .vi or DAQmx channel (void) start Task.vi, pic to see the attachment. Seems reasonable by the explanation given in the link, but strange that it is not followed by some of the vi that I got and I can not change.

Well, there are several things to consider here. Not all DLLs are the same under the ecoverse of LabVIEW. Usually the C standard is completely not managed (to use a very familiar term to many since .net). This means that anyone holding hands with programmers during the memory allocations and deallocation execution or pass parameters from one component to the other. If the function expects a buffer to write in, the appellant has forgotten to allocate this buffer or attributed, it even smaller than the function byte wants to write, VERY BAD things can and usually will not move.

In managed environments, there are specific to the appellants contracts and calles for satisfaction. Who's going on who needs to allocate memory and equally important with what memory allocator and a few other things. .NET has a special way of contract managed, but LabVIEW that has too, but not the same as .net.

With an external DLL, you can have a DLL that is simply written by a C programmer and has its own way of management (generally no, which means the caller is always responsible to return any buffer possble that it passes to a called). But you can also write a DLL that is fully aware of the paradigma managed LabVIEW and knows how to resize a buffer that is passed within a way which is compatible with LabVIEW. These DLLs are linked in the labview.lib import file and make very specific LabVIEW use of Manager functions that are exported by the executable of LabVIEW. Using these functions of Manager of LabVIEW in a very specific way, the DLL is possible to deal directly with the data types native LabVIEW in a way that will not cause LabVIEW go belly upward after the function returns control to LabVIEW. It is not surprising that NEITHER uses in his own support for LabVIEW dll exactly these techniques. Some advantages of performance such as LabVIEW is not to convert data types C standard with a fixed its native data types (and potentially the way to buffer data in case the function may feel tempted to return a megabyte long string in the case of a special condition).

The downside of such a DLL, it's that it is called from a LabVIEW VI and nothing else, since no other programming environment is native data types in LabVIEW and therefore will not provide the functions of Manager of LabVIEW that could bind to the DLL loading. For this reason, there are very few non - programmers OR who visit the hassle to write DLLs that directly use native data types in LabVIEW for its function parameters.

With regular DLLS are not specifically written for LabVIEW, the original comment in your link is entirely true.
