  Understand that dbms_stats collect statistics on (chained rows).
  To get chained lines, we can use one of the below:
  1. analyze the < table_name > table list chained rows;
  2 analyze the table < table_name > statistical calculation;
  
  the first lists the information chained rows in the CHAINED_ROWS table.
  the 2nd is best so that the information of chain_cnt are fulfilled in dba_tables. I can easily get the percentage of channel count by diviiding with the num_rows (for example if you need to list tables with 10 > string cnt percentage it would be easy).
  
  Right now, I'm leaving the need to collect statistics for night work by default oracle (who gather for table with variation in percentage of stale or > 10)... However, come together to string cnts.
  Can advise how can I get the string cnt without risking my existing services?
  
  And also will analyze statistics of table < table_name > estimate; replace my existing histograms?

• loop for doesn't loop in table built from worksheet

  I'm probably doing sonthing but really stupid...

  first I build and table of data in a worksheet (RefLookup)

  the spreadsheet contains 3 rows above the row is my label (getting by)

  the second row it my face value

  the third row is my minimum value.

  REF is my live stream of data to be searched.

  then, I put this in a loop for loop through the table until she finds that go the Ref data in the lie...

  Then I just stop the loop and the index of output value.

  This index value is the opportunity to review worksheet data and return the label for this index.

  from what I can understand the code should... work. but it does not go past the first itteration of the loop for

  any ideas?

  You must set the comma separator, otherwise you get all the data. (read spreadsheet)

  You do this too complicated. Here is the equivalent code. I don't know that it can be much more simplified!

  You don't need the outside while loop. find once is enough.

  

  You probably want to add a "select" after the loop that selects NaN instead of the last value if nothing is found, based on the Boolean value.

• Table of eol worksheet

  I use a spreadsheet table.  I noticed that there is always an end of life at the end.  Is there an easy way to get rid of the eol?  Thank you!

  Correction to the above: EOL is different based on the OS. Therefore, you must take into account the actual length of the EOL "character."

• Table set in place to achieve separate Colomns

  How do you organize a table so that when it is opened in a spreadsheet, each value will be in a different column.  Currently have 8 'signals' incoming ' filter component Y ' enter 'build array' entering 'table in chain worksheet' with formatting % .3f.  So between a string of concanteneted so that I can add the date and time.  After that, sinking a string in the "write file".  Sorry if it's too much info, but I just want to know what I have to make adjustments.

  For the "write to the spreadsheet file", there is an entry for "file path".

  If you do not connect no matter what (that you did not) it will ask for a file.

  Since you put this function in a loop, it continually will inspire you, which as you can see getting very annoying

  Right-click on the entry for 'file path' and click on ' create > control '.

  Then right-click on the control and go to "visible elements > Browse '."

  Then, you can browse a path.

  

  As for the rest of your code, I have a feeling that you get only one point at a time.

  Can you please attach your actual VI file to this topic?

  You need to create 8 shift registers.

  Use the function 'build array' to add the value y of each waveform to its respective displacement register.

  In the end, build a 2D of each table 1 d.
  Then pass this 2D array to the function "write in the spreadsheet file.

  Please let me know if I'm not explain well.

• Database Connectivity Toolkit (insert multi line)

  Hi all. I recently got the toolkit of connectivity (DBCT) database on LabVIEW 2016 and I try to insert several rows in a database.

  Using a sine signal input I tried to insert 50 rows in an iteration, but each method I tried returned 50 values in a line. The end of the constant of the line and table using chain worksheet, returned what looked like 50 lines, but when I questioned "SELECT COUNT (*) FROM... "the number of rows equals the number of iterations.

  On another post on the forum, someone suggested that it is not possible to insert several lines using the DBCT. Can anyone confirm this?

  I wrote a code that allows me to insert 3 rows in an iteration, under a single connection. However, this method is very time consuming and would not work for large amounts of data.

  

  Can anyone think of a better way to do it?

• Build &amp; write to text with different column formatting

  3 days, I just pass on what appears to be a simple problem:

  I have a VI that reads a significant length TDMS file containing data sampled at 1 MHz 2-channel (very large files of course). The VI only runs 1 second at a time and looking for threshold crossing points and calculates the energy at this time there. In any case, I'm writing a text file where a column contains the number of the sample and the second column contains energy, annexed whenever the VI iterates (the number of rows generated by iteration may vary). It's simple by using the function 'Write to Spreasheet', the problem is I want a different format on each column. The sample number must be set to zero decimal and energy must be set on, say, 3 significant digits.

  A typical few lines should look like (delimited by tab characters, commas are there to represent the tabs):

  Time (samples), energy

  267935, 0.0000346

  545227, 0.000298

  1298655, 0.0000000122

  1314522, 0.00854

  'Write to Spreasheet' allows only a single format, so I have either a large number of DPs on my number of sample or energy value is 0.

  If I use 'Table in chain worksheet', I can set the formatting, but I can't seem to be concatenated, to build or to transpose the outputs in the right direction, no matter what I try.

  In the attached image I use Ch1 as my experience; CH2 using the traditional but unsatisfactory method "to write to the spreadsheet. The current VI returns on Ch1:

  I hope that the image of the relevant part of the VI just go. I can reach the VI if necessary, but it seems unnecessary that I won't be able to share the data files for the tests.

  You can use the 'number of fractional string' primitive to convert data DBL to the chain with the required precesion. Then when you use this string 2D array and write in the file using 'write to the worksheet VI' it should work fine.

  If you still face any question please include the code with the data in a constant and registered in the 2012 version.

  A CSV in not an excel document - it can be opened as is it it an Excel but there is no way to convert a .csv into a multi spreadsheet file.

  You need a tool that can wtire this natively do this or something or some vba within excel to extract the data and fill several sheets?

  I am currently it several different types of values with LabView.

  I have a shot, a few numbers and several paintings.

  Thus, for example, I have a timestamp of the chain, several values of "integer" amplitude of the signal for example, RMS value, frequency and I have several paintings - table of signal, the FFT (PIC and location) values.

  Basically, I'm trying to find a way to write all the values in a single file. I can write all the individual types to separate files (so I can write the RMS, amplitude and frequency to a single file, some of the tables in the other)
  but is it possible to write a string and an integer and a table all in the same file?

  Pointers would be much appreciated,

  Your file will be all text... any format in a table of text, to build as a single table, "table chain worksheet", to write to the file.

  (I'm sure this has been on the forums before... a search it would have thrown upward)

  You can't unless you start using ActiveX or report generation tool to connect with a real spreadsheet .xls file.

  You are read and write a text file in the form in the way of a spreadsheet with delimiters between values in a row and the lines of text on the other.  Text files have no understanding of the data being on a "sheet" and other data on another.  It is a peculiarity of the format property of Excel file (and thus other spreadsheets) that allows Excel what data need to be put on what spreadsheet.  It is not the kind of information that you can pass along the use of LabVIEW based text file i/o functions.

• How to reference cells other cells in a different worksheet?

  OK, so here is my problem. On sheet 1, I have a table similar to the one below. It contains thousands of names, telephone numbers, emails, etc...

  I created the tables on the same sheet. You can cut and paste the 'Customer' table to another worksheet.

  Formula in B2 of the 'customer '.

  = VLOOKUP($a2,contacts::$A:$D,2,0)

  Formula C2 (if you wish)

  = VLOOKUP($a2,contacts::$A:$D,3,0)

  Formula in D2

  = VLOOKUP($a2,contacts::$A:$D,4,0)

  Type = in any cell to start the formula and bring up the browser functions. Type the VLOOKUP function to see how to use the VLOOKUP function:

  The VLOOKUP function returns a value from a collection of columns using the values in the left column to choose a line and column number to select a column in the same row.

  • VLOOKUP (for research, range of columns, column back, closing-match)
    • search for: the value to search for. Research-valuecan contain any value.
    • columns-range: a collection of cells. range columns must contain a reference to a single range of cells, which can contain any values.

  • VLOOKUP compares a value to search for values in the column on the left of a specified collection. If an exact match is required, the line containing the largest value of the left column that is less than or equal to the search value is selected. Then, the value of the specified column in the same row is returned by the function. If an exact match is required, and none of the left column values match the value of the research, the function returns an error.

• Sending to values in a table when a record is

  I display the elapsed time on the display panel.  I also have a button 'save' on the Panel and I want to take the current elapsed time value and write them on a spreadsheet.  Currently my code runs the elapsed time and resets to zero when I press record, but it records each unique value and crashes.

  You need to set up a registry to offset instead of your tunnel you currently have.  What happens when you press stop, it takes the last value he saw for your elapsed time and recording time data and puts in your worksheet.  Just put a shift register and a generation array that has an entry like the current data and the following entry as the new data.  You need to do this for each of your records that will change during a race.

  Also why did you build in a table before the worksheet?  I think you can concatenate the strings instead.

• Table 2D-string in a void 2D array

  I'm trying to wire connector of my sub - vi component as one of its inputs is a 2D string table, which I will then use the Subvi. What I did was place a table Sub 2D on the Panel before as a control and linked to the connector pane. When I try to thread 2D array of string for this entry on my Subvi, it gives an error since the source is a table 2D-chain and the sink is an "empty" 2D array

  How to simply create an array of string entry of my Subvi 2D, so that I can no matter what table 2D-chain of wire and accepted by the Subvi?

• Table index String function?

  Using the Index of an array of strings, said "the connector pane displays the types of data by default this function is polymorphic." but it doesn't seem to be polymorphic. I can only call a table 1 d of channels in the table of chains and a string to a string. Miss me something really obvious or aid is wrong.

  I'm not exactally new to LabVIEW, but I didn't realize that now (thanks to quick drop) that this feature exists.

  Other the ability to concatenate the input string with the indexed array element string why Index of array of strings does exist? Is there any other reason to use instead of the array index generic function?

• Tables of writing with keys

  Hi all

  From the looks of things, I can't write arrays using keys to write in the ini file. Is this correct?  I ask because I would simplify the code for the default color (8 colors) VI that allows me to specify the default value of colors in an executable file.  It just seems pointless to call the read and write functions 8 times a piece.  Any ideas?

  You can also use table for chain of spreadsheet and the spreadsheet in table string to convert your table from a delimited string. Then, you just need to write a single string value. Note that the length must be less than 255, since it is a limitation of the .ini files. I think that 255 is fair.
