  My brother had the same problem with the laptop (not Toshiba).
  The whole operating system froze after the insertion of a disk of some. I put t remember if it was a DVD or CD.
  However, nothing works after a long investigation, I gave up and installed a new Windows OS.
  This helped and since the new installation of the OS, everything works.

  But this does not mean that this will help settle the question about the machine you!

  Remote sensing and drawing in the disc depends entirely on the player and has nothing to do with Windows. Windows knows that the disc once it loaded into position and was spun at speed. The reader then reports Windows if a disc has been loaded.

  As you load another SWF file into your main root timeline and you want to transfer control to the loaded SWF file you call set on the container that hosts the loaded content, since you are using _root. Like this:

  myMCLMain.loadClip ("flashSite.swf", "container2");

  container2._lockroot = true; Add this line after loadClip

  Or you can remove the _root in the loaded SWF file.

  1. it happens with all types of CD?

  2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

  3 when was the last time it was working fine?

  4. you receive the error message when you insert the CD into the CD drive?

  Method 1

  Check if you can access the contents of the CD using Windows Explorer application.

  (a) click the start menu, and then double-click computer.

  (b) make a right click on the CD drive, click Open.

  (c) check if you can access it.

  Method 2

  It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

  I suggest that you perform a clean boot and check.

  Yes, you do want to use Array Binding with CLOB or BLOB because of how OIC works. A round trip must occur to the database to get a lob index and a temporary lob must be built for each of them.   I am trying to understand the below concepts regarding the internal concepts (for example, undo and redo)

  (1) what is happening in the database when you insert a row in a table?

  (2) what is happening in the database when you update a row in a table?

  INSERTIONS and deletions are handled the same way.  The cancellation of an INSERT is a DELETE.   The cancellation of a REMOVAL is an INSERT.

  Therefore, the generation 'Cancel' for INSERTION is less than that of a DELETION (because the cancellation of a DELETION is to reinsert the line - the value of each column in the row must be captured in the undo).

  If restore you an INSERT, then Oracle executes effectively a DELETE tablename WHERE rowid =... rowid_that_was_inserted.  A cancellation for an INSERTION is 'rapid '.

  If restore you a DELETION, then Oracle executes effectively an INSERT tablename values (col1, col2, coln).  The cancellation of a DELETION takes more time because Oracle would have to re-enter the values.

  Remember that Oracle also captures the redo to undo it (and do it again for the price drop if you do a restore).
