Table compensation after start/stop

Hello world

I have a table called "Channel_Array".

It is an array of clusters. Groups contain about 8 bits of digital information.

When the stop, press the button start, button is hit on my vi, all data in the table in this table is cleared.

3 references to local variables in this table are all readings only.

The table is loaded during an "initialize" function that is executed only when a toggle switch is set on, the switch causes the initialization sequence to run once and then turns off. It receives data from 1 void / vi, then passes by reference to a 2nd sub vi who made a few reads and writes.

However as I said, the switch boot is cut anytime during normal operation. Deactivation of vi, and then click New is at the origin of the table clear himself to all 0s.

Any suggestions? Is there a setting that would cause this table by default to 0 when the vi is started?

Thank you.

I think you only tell us the tip of the iceberg. I thing you have a rare use for the word 'reference' and 'SEO', etc. A reference to precise a meaning in LabVIEW, bit, I do not think that you are talking about control references and VI references here.

In addition, you use local variable can blur the distinction between the witnesses and indicators. If this table is the only indicator and you have the possibility of execution (properties VI) value 'clear indicators when it is called?

Please include your code so that we can play with it.

  • Oracle DB 11.2.0.4: Impossible to activate the table lock after having stopped it

    Hello

    I use Oracle Database 11.2.0.4.

    After reading the documentation on how to prevent unwanted table DDL statement.

    I found a way to do this in by issuing 'edit the table < table_name > disable table lock'.

    Turn it off doesn't work, however I can not re - activate.

    The error message is:

    ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified or timeout expired

    I want to activate the lock, because I need to add new columns to this table.

    I was digging on several threads that have the same problem as mine. But none of them gives any acceptable solution.

    Impossible to activate the table lock after disablng it

    ALTER table enable table lock blocking

    However, a poster responds by quoting the documentation that says: (Note: I can't find what doc says)

    'Specify the TABLE LOCK ACTIVATE to activate the table locking, allowing operations on the table DDL. All currently process transactions must commit or roll before Oracle database allows table locking. »

    By the way:

    1. the table is mine and nobody knows there are (therefore, it would be just me which undoubtedly make any DML at it, and I did not).

    2. I've disabled the lock table months ago and tried to turn it back on because I want to add the new column to the table.

    It means that I have to wait for that "ALL transactions running" happening on the current scheme being validated or cancelled?

    The table itself is located on the stops and never schema of production on which transactions take place continuously.

    Is it true that Oracle expects all execute transactions? Is it known bug?

    Why would Oracle wait as all transactions which has nothing to do with the underlying table?

    Is there no workaround solution to solve this?

    Note:

    I tried to deactivate - activate the table locking on the development database (which has less transaction) and it works fine.

    Your best option might be suspended from the database. If it is an application of type OTP, it must suspend in some secinds, do your DOF, then get out. Your users should not notice. I have described the mechanism here,

  • Toshiba laptop start registry error after manual stop

    original title: Toshiba laptop start registry error after manual stop - HELP!

    Hello, I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista.  Yesterday it froze completely upward and I had to manually close (hold the power button until stop you him) twice.  The second time when I tried to restart the came Toshiba screen, then the screen with the little scroll down bar, and then it went black, waited for a while, then flashes a bluescreen with a written up VERY quickly and cycles back to the Toshiba screen.  This time after the scroll bar it gives me white saying the writing system could not restart, and I want to start normally or startup repair. If I restart it through loading files, trying to fix it and said then he wasn't able to fix it and when I look at the details there something on a registry error.

    I really need to solve this problem quickly and desperately want to save all my files if possible because it's our main Mobile family that has all our digital photos on it and they are not saved. (I know, terrible of us).  Can someone help me?

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    See you soon.
  • Noron 360 sometimes cannot be started on Windows 8 when starting after a stop!
    Hello
    I have a desktop computer running Norton 360 first Edition version (current) 20.4.0.44 with the latest definitions for viruses on Microsoft Windows 8 Professional with Media Center. Norton 360 , sometimes fails to start on Windows 8 , when starting after a stop.
    Since I first installed the new version of 'version-less' 2013 Norton 360 on Windows 8, it sometimes does not start at startup after a stop and did not bother to mobilize support for that matter because I thought that Symantec or Microsoft could be aware of the problem and that an update or a patch will be available soon. Norton 360 prompted me to apply a new patch today, and after applying the patch, I have realized that the amended version of the version 20.3.0.36 to version 20.4.0.44. Moreover, I also noticed that the aforesaid problem with Norton 360 persists, and if my memory is good, Norton 360 sometimes also does not start after the resumption of hibernation. I used to put the computer to sleep and I never have this issue when hybrid sleep. For Norton 360 upward and run again, I usually just give the computer a reboot.
    I believe that the function "quick start" in power options Windows 8 are originally Norton 360 sometimes fails start. I haven't noticed this problem on computers that are running Windows XP or Windows 7. If Symantec or Microsoft may arrive at a solution to this problem without having to turn off the quick start of Windows 8feature, I would be very grateful!
    Hi Doug,.
    Kindly let me know what Norton product, you try to use, and if download you the latest version of the internet, or you install a version earlier than either downloaded or a disc? Please also post the specifications of your computer and operating system incl. architecture and the edition you are running.
    Regarding your question: are you affected by the same problem that I did? Only Norton only lack of start from time to time, or Norton fails it run continuously?
    If Norton sometimes does not start on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 8:
    Disable the "quick start" function in Windows 8 by going to the bar of charms > settings > Panel > material and audio > Power Options > Choose this as the power button , then click on change settings that are currently unavailable, uncheck the enable fast start (recommended) and click on save changes. Restart your computer to test if Norton starts up. If Norton still does not start, uninstall Norton completely, restart your computer, download and run the latest version of Norton removal tool from Symantec website, computer restartyour once more. Then download the latest version of your Norton product either downloading the trial, or you connecting to your Norton account if you have a valid subscription and clicking on the button to download next to your subscription. Install the latest version of your Norton product and manually run the direct updated until all the updates and hotfixes without restarting have been installed and no updates are available before stopping or restarting your computer!
    If Norton does not at all on a computer running Microsoft Windows 8:
    Uninstall Norton completely, restart your computer, download and run the latest version of the Norton removal tool from Symantec website, computer restartyour once more. Then download the latest version of your Norton product either downloading the trial, or you connecting to your Norton account if you have a valid subscription and clicking on the button to download next to your subscription.   • Error of ORA_12514 open from starting after a stop, just improved 9i to 10g
    Hello
    Noobe here, once again! See you soon and good new year to all!
    How can I modify script to start db which was extinguished before the backup?
    We are experiencing a problem with backups, failure is running SQL * more start after his stop. I upgraded with success our 9i and 10g, 10.2.0.5.0 on Windows server 2003, 32-bit edition. We have a back_script.bat that runs only modifications I had to make in this context were the names for the new Oracle services, but this isn't a problem. When I saw the actions in the command file, it fails to sql > startup open; action, get the error "ORA-12514 TNS:listener does not currently of service requested in connect descriptor" which is different here between 9i and 10 g that now it does not work? Commenting on the line calling our oracle_stop_start.sql I get successful > exp dumps, but it could be running process because I'm not just prior to export.
    I have a complete picture of the physical server running in a virtual one that I am able to test. I hope that I won't put too much info here, but here is some information! The file batch and little stop_start script date from prior to my participation.
    Here are the relevant passages of our backup_script.bat:
    SET NLS_LANG = AMERICAN_AMERICA. UTF8
    SET ORACLE_SID = wind
    net stop Windchill3_MethodServer (the third application for the part that uses the database of the wind)
    @D:\ptc\windchill\backups\oracle_stop_start 'system/manager@wind as sysdba' sqlplus
    owner system/manager@wind exp = file=...\oracle_backup.dmp...etc comments, etc, etc.
    This is oracle_stop_start.sql
    stop immediately;
    startup, open;
    quit smoking
    As stated previously, this worked at least since 2007 where recent changes have been made in the batch file. Now, it will fail to sql > startup open; throw the ORA-12514 error. I can reproduce this execution of each statement in a DOS shell. The command shutdown closed, dismounts and stops the database. I tried to change the start statement for sql > START DISCOVERED wind. but who makes no difference. I found that if I get sql * more and reconnect / nolog (in the same shell window) so I can restart the instance, what I do is:
    /nolog sqlplus
    sql > connect sys / * have sysdba;
    SQL > startup open the wind;
    This starts the Oracle instance successfully, mount and open the database. Otherwise, how would I do that? I certainly can duplicate these actions, by adding the lines necessary for oracle_start_stop.sql, but is there a better and cleaner way to do this? Right now, I just want to these existing scripts. Once this is done, then I'll study and learn more about RMAN and datapump export/import and update our backup procedures.
    The reflections and suggestions?
    Thank you
    Tom
    It may be a difference in behavior between 9i and 10g. Looks like you connect through sql * net (sqlplus "system/manager@wind as sysdba), then the parameter ORACLE_SID is not part of your connection. When the database is shutdown you are no longer connected to a database. When you issue the command to start the ORACLE_SID is not defined, so there is no specified service.
    If you run this on the database server, try setting the ORACLE_SID and then run your script like:
    {code} sqlplus ' system/manager as sysdba' @D:\ptc\windchill\backups\oracle_stop_start {code}
    and you should always have the service for your connection.
  • Satellite P200 - restarts after a stop
    Hi guys
    I hope someone can help because it is driving me crazy. I have Vista 32 bit installed Premium. I have a Satellite P200 13Z laptop and when I properly close down the with Lalonde to start / stop the laptop goes through the procedure correct stop, but after about 10 seconds, it restarts.
    This only happens when the power cord is connected. When I unplug the power cable and shut down the portable computer remains off.
    Can someone shed some light on what once more makes me crackers.
    Hey Buddy,
    Have you plugged the external devices to your laptop, e. g. mouse, keyboard, USB HDD, or something else? If yes remove all these devices, they could cause these automatic starts.
    I recommend also check the BIOS. You should find an option called Wake up on LAN and it should be disabled.
    Also if you can find Wake up on keyboard disable this feature too.
    What could be the reason?
    Hi LeTom,
    did you use the os recovery toshiba or a clean install?
    It seems that the display shows a fault, then here are a few questions to play safely!
    There the failure also occure when the Red Toshiba logo appears shortly after starting start?
    If you are using a clean install of the OS, you need to do a complete new installation with the Toshiba Recovery CD (attention all data will be lost, make a backup).
    Then, the laptop is set back to the default settings of the software and if the failure occurred, you should check the material by a Toshiba service partner!
    I think that the M30 is still under warranty!
    Hello stevecnm,
    Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.
    I understand that your computer hangs at the Windows startup screen when it starts after a stop, and I guess you mean it starts after a repair system no recovery.
    If I am incorrect and it is the recovery of the system, then the problem you describe seems to be a physical problem and I think it would be better if you contact HP Support for service options.
    If however it is the repair of the system, I would recommend that you follow the steps I outlined below:
    Step 1. Click Start
    Step 2. Click on all programs
    Step 3. Click on accessories
    Step 4. Right click on command prompt
    Step 5. Click on run as administrator
    Step 6. Type "sfc/scannow".
    Step 7. When the scan is finished restart your computer
    If the problem is resolved, we are done.
    If the problem is not resolved, then I recommend that you look at and follow the HP Support document: backup of files (Windows 7), which will guide you through to ensure your personal files are stored. Once your personal files are backed up correctly I suggest review you and follow the HP Support document: performing a recovery of HP (Windows 7) system, that will repair your computer back to factory settings.
    If this does not solve your problem then I think it would be better if you contact HP Support for service options.
    I want to thank you for display on the HP Forums. Have a great day!
  • Start, stop, step chart generator
    I would like to get into the start, stop and frequency step to build a table that will contain the value of to feed to a sweep generator.
    I have something that works, except for one thing; the timeout value. I can't get this thing to stop on the stop frequency value. The step value seems to affect it too much. So could someone take a look at my vi and help me with this? In addition, the code seems a bit complex for what might seem like a simple thing to do.
    Anyway, here's a slightly simpler implementation of your code. As you can see, you the codes was much more complicated than necessary!
    Below is the implementation of the model of ramp (recommended). Both give the same result for entries healthy of mind.
    I would certainly use the ramp model, because it has the better error handling (for example if the delta is zero or maximum is + Inf, etc.).
    You can view the code to learn something.
    You will need to pay attention to possible accumulations of bit errors, especially with fractional steps that cannot be fully represented in binary (e.g. 0.1)
    Hello
    Try these methods.
    Method 1:
    You have to do a cold start, press and hold power for a few seconds (10).
    Wait a minute or two and turn it back on.
    Make sure that "all the" non-essential devices are disconnected. (USB keys (for example, flash drives) or any other external media like this takes place.).
    If you can, start safe mode.
    Start your computer in safe mode with network.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
    NOTE: see 3 from the link above, Advanced options boot (including safe mode).
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode
    Select Mode safe mode with networking.
    Method 2:
    Use the system restore feature:
    (a) click Start, type system restore in the Search box or search programs and filesand then click on the system restore under the programs section.
    (b) on the System Restore page, click Next.
    (c) select a restore point during which you know the operating system works, and then click Next.
    The restore point should be a date that precedes the first time you encountered the problem.
    NOTE: If you use system restore when the computer is in safe mode, you can't undo the restore operation.
    Data loss caveat:
    Be sure to back up data that you want to keep before you begin. This is to ensure that there is no loss of data.
    Method 3:
    Step 1:
    To avoid this problem on Windows Vista, obtain and install update 937287 from the Microsoft Download Center separately from all other updates on Windows Update site. Install the update that applies to your version of Windows Vista so that you are able to install future updates.
    A software update is available for the Windows Vista installation software feature
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/937287/en-us
    The following files are available for download from the Microsoft Download Center:
    Windows Vista x 86 systems
    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?amp;displaylang=en&ID=15287
    Windows Vista x 64 systems
    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?amp;displaylang=en&ID=23732
    Step 2:
    Save the update to a location on your hard drive, you can find and then install the update from there.
    Download, *Save* and install the update with no security (antivirus/security suite) software installed, disconnect from the Internet, disable the firewall & close all non-essential processes in the Task Manager.
    Disable antivirus programs and firewalls.
    Disable the anti-virus software
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software
    Windows Firewall
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/firewall-frequently-asked-questions
    Note: Make sure that you enable the antivirus software, other security and firewall after the test programs.
    Caution:
    Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
    I also recommend taking off of USB keys (for example, flash drives) or any other external media, as this takes place.
    When the file is downloaded, see these steps.
    (a) right -click on the file and
    (b) select run as administrator from the menu.
    Check if it helps.
