table Oracle in a delimited text file

Hi all

How you export data from an oracle table to a delimited text file?, I think the answer should be used the exp tool and specify the delimiter in the control file. Please correct me of you to be sick. Thank you

The answer is on your pc. If you have the open Help context, click the detailed help. There is a link here on the format specifiers. You use %d which tells the function to convert whole numbers. You want %f for floating point numbers.

Dell NetBook, Windows XP home, OR-6008, Labview 8.5.1

I read a psydo real-time app 8 analog signals at 100 Hz.  I can't write directly to a file of data during data collection (processor flash drive to slow down), but can store 4 2D tables separated, with one added timestamp data.  Once I finished collecting data, I would record each table in a separate text (csv) file.  Using takes a loop for in long and using the 'picture to a worksheet string' add labels that I can't change.  I'm climbing down a text file of 3 columns and lines equal the number of samples, I've collected (e.g., a 1 minute session would be 6000 rows and 3 columns).

  • AppleScript - extraire extract values from a table, create a text file with these values

    Hello world

Lets say I have a table that looks a bit like this

And this table I would create 2 text files (or even more, depending on how many switchnames are there) who look a bit like these

    Is it still possible?

I suppose to create a Service (which can be called in numbers) with Automator which includes an Applescript script - but - no idea since the script is not one of my strong suits.

There is not need to be perfect, because tables are not necessarily the model presented above - so to tweek the script to the application will be necessary. The text files can be created/saved in the same folder as the file numbers is in.

  • Reading a text file and store it in a table, guard return 0.

Hello, I have an application where I need to read the speed and rate of a text file. For this application, I use a myRIO NEITHER and I want to save the text file on the drive the myRIO aboard in the tmp folder. I simplified my request to isolate the possible problem and I will attach a sample text file and my VI is used.

    Overview:

I use a myRIO project because in my real application I myRIO VI of PWM and encoder. I noticed that my problem goes away when just open the main VI and run the application in LabView. My problem then that chairs the VI on a project myRIO folder.

    To address the issue:

My question is, when running the VI of the hand of a project myRIO folder everything works as it is supposed to, but when you open the text file in my Subvi, it returns 0, as if nothing is in the text file. Now if I open the VI outside myRIO se project file it works just assumed that when X = 1, it opens the text file written data in a table and then close the text file. I can't understand why he reads nothing in the text file executing the main VI of a project of myRIO and when I use run to highlight one can see it opens the text file and then returns nothing. The text "test" file must be placed in the tmp folder on board the myRIO to validate my way.

Is there a way to fix this?

I assume because I use a myRIO project I can't access the file text, or because of how LabView?

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

You don't have your son wired error upward.  You're files showing error functions?

What context are you running VI when you are within the project and what context from outside the project?

My suspicion is that in one case, you run on your PC, the other on the cRIO.  Your file exists only on one device or the other.  And also that when you change your PC for the cRIO, your file path must change.  It's very strange that your watch VI access you the disk R:\.  I bet that the R:\ car n does not exist on your cRIO.

  • Writing data in the text file or excel spreadsheet

    Hello

I have a silly question to ask questions about the writing of data in a text file or a spreadsheet. I have an example that simulates a sine-swept DAQmx. The output it provides is the (amplitude and phase) frequency response function that is plotted on a graph (see VI) attached. I like to use these data for further analysis by transmitting the data to a text file or a spreadsheet. I've tried a few things, but the thread is broken. I guess I use the sink badly - so I was wondering, can you please advise me on what sink should I use?

Your help would be very appreciated,

    Thank you very much

    REDA

The wire is broken, because you cannot connect this type of data to one of these two functions. The data source type is a table 1 d of the clusters, where each cluster contains two tables. The text file write accepts strings, not clusters. Writing on a file action accepts dynamic data, and while you can convert dynamic data tables, there is no built-in mechanism to convert a table 1 d of the clusters of two matrices.

What you need to do is to convert the data in a format which can be accepted by these functions. Since you want to have a "spreadsheet" file then you should use writing to the spreadsheet file that creates a delimited text file. Since the frequency data would be the same for the plot of the magnitude and phase diagrams, you can have 3 columns: frequency, amplitude, and phase. You can take off the items using Unbundle by name, and then create a table 2D of each element of the cluster. The real question is to know if you want to save the data at each iteration and if you simply add on the file. The attached figure shows write an initial header and then adding just streaming the data.

  • {Hurry!} Add to a text file

    Hi guys!

I am new to the program and am trying to learn how to use it. Here's my problem,

I did a temperature sensor and got data nor my DAQ, but I don't know how to add the date system time and the average temperature in a tab delimited text file. I got some advice saying that

"By connecting the refnum of a shift instead of the refnum and blocks register, the loop will be continually data for each iteration of the loop, by reusing the name specified in the first iteration. The string value would be the range of string that should be inserted at the end of the file. If you want to really be a line (and do you) you need to be sure to have a line break / carriage return as the last character of the string. »

that I really don't understand. Could someone give me a hand?

    Thank you very much!

    Rookie

I knew that was coming next... This will put a timestamp and the temperature in the columns for each reading on a separate line

  • Control of the authorization of sharing when writing to a text file

I have several application that writes a file of text defined in a file share.  Another application, not a LabVIEW application then reads the delimited text file.  When my application is creating or writing to the file text delimited, is there a way to manipulate the permissions so that no other application can read the file at the same time, I am writing to you in the file?  I can do this in Visual Basic through the FileShare (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.io.fileshare(v=vs.110).aspx) option during the creation of filestream, but I don't see this option in LabVIEW.  Thank you.

Too bad.  I believe that this is possible thanks to the function of "deny access".

  • Odd number of columns in the text file

    Hello everyone

From an Excel (.xls) file, I saved (tabs-delimited text) file and open in Labview. The file has only 2 columns (apparently), but my VI says he has 12! I tried to find any character 'lost' in the file but it's all in the first two columns.

However, if I open the .xls file, save the text file delimited tab, open this tab delimited text file using excel, hit save and then open in my VI, the VI will tell me that the file has only 2 columns. Strange.

Enclosed please find my VI (I tried two different methods to load the file and got the same results).

    Thank you

  • Import data from the text file to open the Document

This should seem simple, but I can't find a way to import a text file delimited to tab automatically on opening the document.  I can open my form fill pdf document, select Forms > more form Options > data management > Import Data > change the bottom right "Text (*.txt) files" file type, select the file, then import with no problems.  I can't find a way to do this automatically when the document opens.  I know a *.fdf file will do, but my data are in a tab delimited text file.  If this is not possible, is there a program or a script that will convert *.txt to import *.fdf?  Thanks for your time.  Steve

  • Syntax to detect the line feed or newline read text file?

I have a SQR (aka Hyperion Production Reporting) program that treats a comma-delimited text file.

Sometimes one of the fields contains carriage returns and line breaks, that's not groovy, as is the record delimiter.
The program currently handles this situation by disgarding records that do not contain the specified number of fields.

I would like to scan the file before treatment, pickling, transport and line breaks, returns when they are integrated in a record.
I have problems with the syntax required to recognize these characters, however.

The program reads the file in a string (for example read 1 $record_buffer: #len).
then it executes a while loop that examines the $record_buffer string one character at a time.

    I tried a direct comparison: If $char = Chr (10) or $char = Chr (13)
    I tried to assign a chr() value to a variable before the comparison: Let $LF = chr (1)... If $char = $LF
    I tried using code before the comparison: encode '< 10 >' in $LF... If $char = $LF...

Could someone help me with this?

    Thank you!

    Here's the syntax that works:

    #ifdef EBCDIC
    encode "<13><37>" in $hr
    #else
    encode "<13><10>" in $hr
    #end - if

(replace the return with the null character)

    LET $descrlong = translate (& descrlong Chr (13), ")

You must call the sqlplus from a shell script. Think you're in a windows environment. So you can have something like this

create a run.bat file or command called run.cmd batch file and place the following code in there and save it

This command file will create a new file called run.sql in the c:\ drive which will be managed by sqlplus.
DateTime variable will create value "mmddyyyyhh24miss" (depending on your settings for date format) and be preceded by ".txt".

    set mydatetime=%date:~0,2%%date:~3,2%%date:~6,4%%time:~0,2%%time:~3,2%%time:~6,2%
    echo set linesize 124 > c:\run.sql
    echo set colsep ';' >> c:\run.sql
    echo set pages 0 >> c:\run.sql
echo set head off >> c:\run.sql
echo set verify off >> c:\run.sql
echo set echo off >> c:\run.sql
echo set trimspool on >> c:\run.sql
echo set feedback off >> c:\run.sql
    echo spool c:\%mydatetime%.txt >> c:\run.sql
    echo select * from tab ; >> c:\run.sql
    echo spool off >> c:\run.sql
    echo exit >> c:\run.sql
    sqlplus -s user/passw0rd@connect @c:\run.sql

Note: You can add all the environment variables with a single instruction set in sqlplus Parry set linesize 124, etc.
But I have separated them for readability

Just run from the command prompt
    c: > run.cmd

See your updated file pending with current datetime.txt and go to the c:\ drive
