TableView Single Cell selection style
Model selection TableView allows you to select individual cells in the table, but the default style highlights the entire line, regardless of the column that is selected on the line.
I wonder what options are there to change this behavior so that the actual cell (row/column) highlighted instead of the whole line.
Something like the cell $18,000 in the 'presentation of the Figure 1 Table' in https://wiki.openjdk.java.net/display/OpenJFX/TableView+User+Experience+Documentation
Are you sure that you define the selection properly model?

A style like this should work:

It's something you can do in AppleScript. It is also possible in the number directly, but is much more complicated.
I would like to ask if you intended to enter the data in the rows since that would be easier in addition to a title and you allow more flexibility in the information that you can retrieve the data that you entered?
In this example, I've separated each field in its own column and then summarizes the data in a separate table
In the lower table (entitled "Summary of the cell")
Enter the number of cells in column a.
Then select cell B2 and type (or copy and paste it here) the formula:

Paste multiple lines of text in a single cell in a table
Hi all
I lost it by train for formatting columns and thought it would be easier to put the data in a table.
I tried selecting my 5 lines (name and address) and paste it into a single cell of a table, but it keeps splitting up to more than 5 cells. Is any way to replace it?

Select the 5 lines of text and copy (or cut).
In a table cell, click twice to place the cursor in the cell (the cursor is now in the text layer of the cell).

Can LabVIEW VIs database connectivity write an array to a single cell?

I wonder if DB tools insert data VI is able to accept a table as its input. It's a bit difficult to say because all connect you to the input of this VI is voluntarily accepted by the terminal, data type variant so no glaring broken threads occur when associate you a table.
What I'm trying to do, it is write a table 2D of doubles in a single cell in a table. The table is large 3 x 1000 elements. I confess to being completely new to databases and such an effort may or may not look ridiculous in the database world. If someone wants to talk about why I'm trying that I'll gladly go through my reasoning - just enough to say that I'm not totally crazy.
When I try to write the table to a single cell, an error as seen in the attached screenshot. All my other functions database, working with scalar values of many different types of data, all work very well.
I have attached the problematic code. It tries to write these tables 8 to 8 individual columns, all in the same line. I'm just using the method "automatic" for now.
Extra tid bit of information:
OpenSQL database. Connection via ODBC 5.2 64 bit, user DSN.LabVIEW 2012 not SP1. Windows 7 64-bit.

How to display row values in a single cell, separated by commas?

I have a table of opportunity and at every opportunity, there are several values from the provider in the table Vendor, i.e. relations ship between the table of the opportunity and the seller, the table is 1:m.
In the reports, I want to show all providers for the occasion in a single cell, separated by commas.
For example Oppty1 has Ven1, Ven1, Fri 3 in table.so of sellers in reports that it should show as

Problem of format of letters in single cells
Hi, question maybe an IE6 and not DW8...
I built a calendar using tables with individual cells. The numerical values are sitting nicely in their cell, but the header cells (M T W T F S S) even if OK in DW8 extend downwards by a single cell in IE6. I guess that's a white character and would like to lose! Any ideas please on how to solve this problem would be appreciated. Form field: the user selects a single cell in a table?
I have a table I'll turn it into a form where the user can select multiple cells. When the user is finished, it will present in the usual way.
I want the user to be able to select multiple cells, and have sectionals outlined in red, by the small illustration that I've included here. I can't seem to find a way to do it, even if it is obviously very simple. Ideas? The table below is just a mock-up of what I want the form to look like after the user has selected the cells which are framed in red. Borders appear only when the user has clicked on it.
If these cells will be interactive form fields, the user will not be able to select several fields at the same time. What is possible change the border color when the user clicks in a field while holding down a modifier (shift, Ctrl) key. A simple example, the following script into a text field Mouse Up event will change the border color of the field to red when the SHIFT key is pressed while clicking on the field, but the change will be apparent once the field has lost focus. He will return to transparency if the SHIFT key is held down while you click on the field:

Extraction of text from the strings in a single cell of a row of cells

Is there an easier way to search a text / word of a string in the row of cells, and where a match is found back a header text - see the example below.
The left table contains the initial positions of conformity in groups of companies. I would like to complete the table on the right with compliance positions indicated in the table on the left, using the header text (red zone). Example 1 shows that "C company" is not in line with the left table and returns a "Non-compliant" in the relevant cell for company C. Example 2 A company, C and Z are in line with the left table and returns "comply" in the relevant cell in company A, C and Z respectively. It goes the same for the partial.
The lines must also be aligned as shown in the left column will contain a single reference (not shown in the example).
My current approach was to simply build a small matrix and use IF (COUNTIF ($E5, "* company A *" "'), 'In line'," "") - this works fine, but is a bit messy - obtained above table, it's really what I like o would reach.
I also tried to use nested 'FI', 'find', 'Index' and 'Match' combinations, based on a few positions at the beginning, but not could not get the correct syntax.
Would appreciate other solutions for the construction of the table to the right.

I have a spreadsheet with data in an investigation. Some questions have more than one valid answer. In these cases the data were entered in the same cell. So, I have a column that looks like this:
Green, blue, Red
Blue, Orange
Yellow, green, blue

And so on...
I can't understand how to count the number of 'Green' for example.
In excel I use this formula:

can I add a serial number to a single pass selected to the test
Hi, I have a number of tips that I test which are marginal passes or marginal failures and wish I could re - test failures by running the test steps pass / single selected and adding the result to the map existing under the same serial number result of UUT (unfortunately the test together take 20 minutes so it would be much faster I could re - test just the test that failed).
I know that you can add results under the same serial number, but don't know if you can add a single test to this same result.
At least, it would be good that I was able to store the individual result by using the serial number of the object to measure

Deactivation of prediction of single letter selected in InDesign
Since the last update, when I select a single letter of the text, say, to change a lower case 'a' in capital letters at the beginning of a sentence, a letter 'A' appears in a box directly below the selected character. The only way agree is to click on this box (deflectors, as my hands are on the keyboard when I change the text!) to insert it, and worse, the suggestion is a small cap that I would never in the middle of the body of the text.
So, to avoid this terrible suggestion, I must firstly, press a key to get this box go away before pressing on "shift + A" typing my letter. Each. Time. I select a letter.
This is beyond maddening! Yet another "feature" which is nothing more than get in the way. Please help me to turn it off.

difficulty using a secondary paragraph on a selection style
I use paragraph styles in a publication any longer. I am trying to apply a secondary (chips) style to a selection within a body of text that has a style of primary already applied paragraph style. Sometimes, it works very well, but sometimes when I apply the second style, all other paragraphs around this selection command and get involved. Why is this and how do I prevent it? Thank you, Clare
A paragraph can only be tagged with the style of a paragraph. Some selected text it contains can be secondarily labeled with a character style. Make your newsletter to be its own paragraph style.

I didn't have a problem until 2 days ago... I downloaded some new realplayer (flash) video files, but one of them seems to be a MPEG-4 file (.. all the files in my video file realplayer are flash videos)... this curious MPEG-4 file will not be delete
