• (another) album art probem

  Hi I'm new here and I'm sorry if this question was asked millions of times but I'm not looking and cannot always solve my problem

  the question is, I have connected my Fuze in MTP mode, used Media Monkey and WMP11 for importing files, but sometimes arts album show up, sometimes, they don't. Each file has built-in pouch and each folder a folder.jpg album or Album Art.jpg and inside .alb file. All images are 120 x 120 and less than 50 KB.

  Please help me, I'm tired of delete and synchronize everything again and again

  1. Make sure all your tags are ID3v2.3 ISO-88559-1 (No UTF). The combo (ID3v1, ID3v2.3) tag is OK, but you don't want some that are v1 & some that are the v2.3. Media Monkey can be allright, but a dedicated like MP3TAG tagging program is specifically designed to do one thing; and do it correctly. Tag music files. And it's free.
  2. I would be suspicious to use Photoshop to 'Edit' or change album art images. It can record the result in a format (although it may still be .jpg) that the "rocket" has a reading problem (there are different versions of the .jpg format). There should be no need to modify or to try to improve these tiny images anyway. Whatever changes you make to an image is probably is not going to be visible in his poster the size on the screen of the rocket. The maximum size of any image of album art should be only around 200 x 200 (or even less). Something more great as it is will only be reduced to the displayed size, compaction (or compression) the image still further, which leads to less distinction and clarity (the opposite of what you want). Also if the image is too large, the "rocket" will not even appear at all. It's all just too big to handle.
  3. Choose a name for your art files and stick to it. I have all mine as 'album art.jpg. I have several players of e200 series and they all work for me. Then the "rocket" is out, and everyone now says the album art has to be labelled "folder.jpg". Is there a difference, and the "rocket" have a preference? I have no idea. I'm certainly not going through several hundred albums and add another file 'folder.jpg' for each album folder! I recently got a rocket did not have honestly a lot of time playing with it at the moment. I put some files on it and it seemed to view the files 'album art.jpg' very well.   EDIT: I just took a look at the songs of the sample that came pre-installed on my Fuze. He has a record ALBUMS. The e200 series players this is different. This isn't the ALBUM folder I was alluding to in the discussion where the 'album art.jpg' file should be located. It is in the MUSIC/ARTIST/ALBUM folder alongside the music files themselves.

  This new ALBUMS folder is in the root directory alongside the MUSIC, PHOTO, VIDEO, & SERVICE records. This is a "hidden" file and it contains files .alb of all music that is loaded on the player.

  I also grew these music pre-installed in MP3TAG files. All were indeed the tag (ID3v1, ID3v2.3) combo and each of them had "built-in" album art

• How to queue all the podcasts in the podcast folder

  I posted on the set of FAQS on Sansa devices yesterday and today I bought the Clip. It's quite nice, but I'm not sure how the podcast features are supposed to work.

  I wish I could do the 'tail' my podcasts so that the Clip would play all podcasts there without me having to select the next shows or anything. I haven't found a way to select all the podcasts in the podcast folder, is it possible somehow?

  I came with two possible workaround solutions for this. Can I put podcasts in the music folder and I can select 'Play All'. Or I could make a playlist of all the podcasts that I listen to and then choose that on the device.

  Why not just use your tagging program to give all the podcasts the same album tag? This way once you start the album, it will play straight through. With the help of a different kind that the podcast or audio book (if they are not in the folder podcast or audiobook) will be business podcasts appear in your list of songs (which most people do not want). It will also give you the autobookmarking is present with gender podcast or audio book (or if the files are placed in the folder podcast or audio book)

  Each track for the Album identification label must be the same.  Try using a tagging program so that the songs on the same Album.

  THE PROBLEM

  I want to store music files to the player on the SD card, but they do not appear always on the reader in the correct production hierarchy (songs in the album folder, artist) for example

  (1) Kings of Leon 'only by the night'-1 of 11 tracks appears under the name of the album and the remaining 10 under the name of the artist

  (2) Duran Duran 'Duran Duran' and 'Rio' - all tracks appear only under the name of the artist

  (3) 'The best of Björk' Björk - 50% of tracks appear under the artist = unknown but with the correct album title and the other 50% under the exact title of the artist and album.

  THE ONLY TIME that the files are properly organized on the player is when syncd WMplayer using of PSG but only in the player as this car is the only visible. Subsequently the use MSC to move the music files on the SD card causes problems to appear.

  Using MSC mode to drag and drop files directly on the disc from the drive or the SD card also causes these problems if I using the file manager or of WMPlayer.

  I checked the file 'properties' on the drive or the SD card and in the library of WMPlayer (resident of PC hard drive) and checked the ID3 - tag using Dr Tag and WMPlayer. In both cases, as well as examples 3 details are correct. They all appear correctly in the WMPlayer library and in the correct hierarchy in file manager.

  I tried in vain to solve the problem in the two disks of formatting and deleting the folder 'Data' in the folder 'System '.

  At this rate, in order to properly navigate the reader, I will be limited to 2 GB of disc from the drive... bah humbug!

  The information may be correct in ID3 tags, but is the correct type tags? If you use the tagging program has several parameters version, set it to write tags in ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1. He is the only one that works reliably with Sansas.

  OK, so I went and re - sync my player the other day.  Since then, when I turn it on, it starts to update the database, and then the screen goes crazy.  Nothing but colored lines.  I can stop, but it will do so when turned on.  I tried to boot from the recovery partition, and put the latest firmware files, it seemed to load, then again became 'crazy' at startup.  It will also do so if I connect to my PC and will not be detected...

  First, just for him heck of it, try to take out the battery (don't lose the screws bit) for a minute or two. It can reset.

  The problem is probably a file that has been bad or has been corrupted by mysterious Sansa bugs. If you are able to connect to the computer in MSC mode, you can run ChkDsk to zap the wrong file.

  If not, you will probably have to format and, unfortunately, lose all the music/video/pictures on it. Create a new empty folder on your desktop called sansa.fmt, go into the recovery partition and drag the sansa.fmt in there. Do not FORMAT THE PARTITION RECOVERY VIA WINDOWS - YOU're going to DESTROY VITAL FILES. When you disconnect, the Sansa will set up. Recharge a few albums at a time. Your most recent file was probably the one that crashed it.

  If it was the fault of a file that you added - and personally and not scientific, I don't think that it's always - you should look at the tags of your files and use a good tagging program, mp3tag. More information on ID3 tags here.

  When I add albums in the music folder, it separates the music in two different albums with the same name.  Usually a song in an album and the other songs in the album.  How can I keep them to be divided in two albums?

  A tag program like mp3Tag to edition allows you to set all the tags of the album for files in an album to be the same. The slightest variation in a tag will cause the music sort separately. I hate the navigation by tags!

  I am a member of cloud of Adobe and work on the development of a plug-in for InDesign. I use ExtensionBuilder 2.1 as an IDE and ActionScript as a development language.

I can uncheck and remove a file with the tagged text, and it does show me all the problems present in the tagged text. I want to get this behavior programmatically.

  I'm importing text marked on the document InDesign through 'Place' prgrammatically. I am using below function to do this:

  I understand that the options for placing the tagged text can be changed by app.taggedTextImportPreferences object. But I see not all the relevant functions to uncheck "Display a list of problem tags before place" checkbox.

  Any help is very appreciated.

  Hi woodycoal, these icons are not related to mozilla or firefox products. they may be part of some sort of synchronization for cloud storage tool, but it's a question which will be offtopic in our forums for us probably cannot find an answer to this...
