• Customize the desktop photos does not properly

  As of yesterday, something happened to the image on my desktop. The image fills the screen, but there is a vertical line down the right third of the image. The color to the right of the vertical line is low.

  When I click on customize desktop, that I used to see about a dozen options to choose. Now, there is just the same picture in all settings. The legends above executives give different titles.

  How can I get this program to customize back to normal?

  You can click the menu drop down and select wallpapers from windows to see all background screen. Or browse your local disk for all other photos in different places such as my pictures folder. MCITP (EA) - CCNA

• Hotkeys in CS6 Photo does not properly.

  Keyboard shortcuts work sporadically. For example, when you use select all, copy, paste shortcuts to copy one picture to another in a different tab, that it might take 2 presses of the keyboard to operate. It also gives useless actions.

  Have you tried:

  Performance tuning in preferences currently 25062 memory usage, history States 20, concentration8 cache level cache 1024 graphics processor utilization ticked. Have changed all of these parameters without effect on the problem.

  Closed all other programs (including all browsers).

  Removed plug-ins.

  Zipper panels namely mini bridge.

  Have to go back to a previous version of Photoshop for as doubtful now shortcuts keyboard make unusable CS6. Also have a problem with Camera Raw that I raised in another Discussion which makes it unusable too.

  Suggestions are welcome.

  Just to update. The latest version seems to have solved the problems of keyboard shortcut in the concert tabs that I had.

  The crop without the resolution box tool has idle things but I believe that it is a hot topic in other threads...

• Photos does not work in El Capitan

  I recently replaced with El Capitan Yosemite on my Mac Mini last 2014. Everything worked well after the original download, including Photos. Then I closed the computer and went to bed. When I started again this morning, the system does not start, and I had to use recovery mode to reinstall El Capitan. 13 hours later (for some reason that the software took so long to download) the system works again - but not photos. Unlike other Photos post-EC problems, I get no message, just a bar with almost all the options greyed out. One of the few non-grisé options is under the tab 'windows', where, by selecting 'Photos', I get a white box. And that's all. I tried to start clicking on both of my two libraries - nothing. I tried from Photos with the option key - touch nothing. I tried from Photos with maintained command - nothing. All my photos, apart from those of Photostream, stored locally; I have all my pictures on iCloud, and nor do I want to. I'm sure that they are all there, because the library of the main image shows 36 concerts and everything is backed up, but I don't know how to access. Any help much appreciated.

  Where your photo library is stored? It's in your pictures folder, or on an external drive?

  try to find out if the problem is system-wide or only happens in your user account.

  Can you launch Photos, if you connect from a different user account, for example the guest user? (see this help page: isolate a problem by using another user account)

  • If Photos does not even from another user account, your relocation was unlikely.  Try to reinstall again with a stable network connection.
  • If pictures work well from another user account, delete the preference files in your Home folder.

  Remove these items from your user library in your folder:

  • Delete complete files - if they are there-

    ~/Library/containers/com. Apple.photolibraryd /.
    ~ / Library/Containers/com.apple.Photos/.

  Log and turn it back on. The files will be recreated when you try to launch again the Photos. But don't try without a current backup of your system!

  Your user library can still be hidden. To reveal the hidden user library:

  • Bring the Finder to the front by clicking on the desktop or the Finder icon in the Dock.
  • Select your folder user/home (with the House icon in the side bar of the Finder)
  • With this window in the Finder in the front window, press the ⌘J key combination to bring up the display options.
  • In the view options panel allow you to "show the library folder. That will make your visible user library folder in your folder.
  • Open your folder, then the library folder, then the containers.
  • Move the entire folder ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Photos/ on your desktop. Move the entire folder, not just the content.
  • Delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Photos.plist Similarly, if it exists.

  Restart the mac, after you have deleted the items, then try opening your photo library and see if pictures will now launch properly.

• Safari Web Clip does not properly

  Web Clip still didn't work if the cut element remains in the exact same on exactly the same site. This is apparently not the case here.

  It is a problem that has been reported previously in iMovie 10.1.1. Photo library will be displayed intermittently when iMovie is launched. The only solution I know is to open the photos app before the launch of iMovie. That has always worked for me. It seems that if Photos is opened and closed even before iMovie will appear. Once it appears, it will remain as long as iMovie is open. I hope it works for you.

• Toshiba 47L7453DG - CEC does not properly using exernal amplifier

  I bought Toshiba 47L 7453 a few days ago.

  It is connected to the amplifier Onkyo TX-NR535 but CEC does not properly. Volume control works fine but On / Off or stanby does not at all.

  My previous TV Toshiba 42XV635DG was communicated by the CEC with the Onkyo even without any problem.

  The wire connection is HDMI 1.4 certified.
  Maybe the problem is with the firmware of the TV.

  Maybe someone had the same problem.

  Any suggestion?

  From my point of few TV and amplifier are connected some CEC (Volume control) functions that work. I think you should check the auto power settings and HDMI CEC standby control system.

  Sometimes it is just dust, animal hair etc. blocking the fan. Take a can of compressed air and blow all the ports/vents/opening very carefully to see if any change.

• Setup.exe does not properly

  I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 7, and at one point in the configuration of several programs are listed to be uninstalled, when it gets to the Realtek USB 2.0 card reader a pop window that says setup.exe does not properly.  Cannot uninstall in Control Panel either.   Any material support is the manufacturer of the hardware regardless of the operating system that you choose to use.  As it is unlikely that you have a Microsoft video/graphics card - one you have and have you downloaded and installed the latest drivers/software they provide for your particular device?
