Taking iPad mini back to factory setting.

someone has tried to take a mini to iPad 1st gen back to the factory settings. This could be the only way to get rid of the unwanted default apps like iBooks in IOS9. Default applications take about 20 GB of space for the 16 GB, even if they are not used. It was originally on IOS7 and these apps are optional, so I don't want to try to return to factory settings if it will work only on IOS9 which is the cause of the problem in the first place.

1. There is no way to remove pre-installed applications.

2 downgrade not has was never supported by Apple, and it is not possible.

When a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) the system failure occurs, for most users, there not enough time to fully record what he says. the exact text is important for anyone trying to diagnose what is wrong. You can save time when the error occurs then by following the procedure described below.

If you already did it disable the auto reboot system error. This should help by allowing the time to write the code to Stop error and related information correctly. Select Start, do a right-click on computer select Properties, advanced, system settings startup and recovery, system failure and uncheck the box before automatically restarting. Re-do not enable automatic restart in the event of system failure after obtaining this information, this setting is the best left to not allow an automatic restart.

If the failure occurs during the initialization of the computer, you need to try a different approach. You can access the Advanced Options Menu of Windows on multiple computers by constantly pressing the F8 (key) key when starting and selecting the option - disable automatic restart in case of system error. This method is not always easy to use because it may be difficult to press the F8 key at the right time. Try again if it doesn't work the first time. On some computers, a different key must be used.

    Bloo,

I finally got the correct disks. I was sent a total of 5 sets of CD. All were for the A700 except the last game.

I had pretty well given the fact that I was going to send the unit to the factory to restore. They actually sent me a box to ship it in. Fortunately, before I packed it upward, I got quite unexpected package. Voila! It was the right set of discs and now my system runs like a champ.

Thanks for your help on this Bloo.

If it's a brand mouse, you may need to consult the manufacturer for all drivers that may be required.  If it's a USB mouse then try another port.  You can also update Windows, and then test the mouse.  Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

I am using ASUS and I want to restore it back to factory setting. I checked google and they show to press F9 and choose Reset the PC. However, I fear the restoration will eliminate the disk OS (usually drive C) and the data drive (usually drive D).

I have a mini hp 10 inch.  I want to get back to factory conditions or at least start in safe mode.  Help, please

Hi, Patty Young. Need you to restore your computer settings or the recovery disk or your computer must have a recovery partition. To start in safe mode, you simply press the F8 key when you see the initial screen and then choose Startup mode in the Advanced menu options. I honestly recommend however, that can you tell me what your question is so that we can try to resolve without the need of recovery.

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

iOS 9.0.2 happened some time. The last iOS is iOS 9.2. If you have not updated, updated. If you restored to the factory, it must have downloaded iOS 9.2. Also, if you restore to the factory and the problem is still there, then you must make an appointment at the Genius Bar to the nearest Apple store or Apple authorized service provider or call the Apple Support to have the device examined by Apple. There seems to be something wrong with the screen.

  • How can I set my settings to Intel(r) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 back to factory default?

I have an Acer Aspire R 13 and lack of internet access due to the location of the House and our location within the home.  I made the mistake according to some 'useful' online articles to improve the reliability of the connection and the speed of my laptop, but it's worse now than it was.  It is interesting to note that I had better internet access on my old Acer laptop, but that's another story.  Anyway, I didn't save my settings original wireless until I started to make changes and I would now like to return to the settings by default and to adopt an approach more disciplined testing of changes, but I can't find an option "by default".  Can anyone suggest where I could find a (without putting the computer all laptop back to factory settings), or can someone please tell me what are the settings on their R 13?  It's a T - 76 h R7 - 371.

    Thank you very much

  • I can't put my Dell Inspiron 5423 back to the factory setting after the upgrade to Windows 8.1

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I upgraded my laptop Windows 8.1 yesterday and he had some compatibility problems with some applications. I want to restore it before the upgrade but cannot, then I run the Dell backup / recovery of value factory setting, but has no success (the interface at startup is also difference previous execution of recovery).

I tried to run the startup recovery, but pressing F8 can not directly at the interface of recovery.

Could you please say how to restore my laptop? I need to run my old application for my works.

    Thank you best regards &,.

    LM Hoang.

You cannot use the factory recovery partition once you have upgraded to a new version of Windows (including Windows 8.0 Windows 8.1).

Dell ship no reinstallation DVD with systems and Microsoft do not provide a .iso download for Windows 8.0 or 8.1 Windows for OEM installations.

If you have not completed the USB bootable Dell backup and restoration in advance before installing Windows 8.1 then your only option may be to install the real installation media, i.e. a reinstallation DVD or USB.

  • IPad mini is not connect to Wifi wireless

Mini Wireless iPad (iOS 9.3.5) does not connect to the wifi at home but for printer and android phone will be. Have you all on iPad and mydlink router resets.

    Action taken:

WiFi connected in Apple store - Rep suggested that make a backup and then restore iPad at home.

    Results:

Can not stop to find my iPad / "check failed: there was an error connecting to server Apple ID.

    Several attempts, the problem persists.

    Looking for suggestions.

    Hi RubyBlu,

I see you're posting here because your iPad mini Apple Support communities is having problems to connect to your home Wi - Fi network. You talked about since someone at the Apple Store that you said to try to restore your device using iTunes, but you can't not to disable find my iPad to be able to do. I know it's important to be able to connect to the Wi - Fi at home, and I'm happy to help with this.

As a first step, I recommend take a look on this website and perform these steps in the order, if you have not tried them already:

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi - Fi - Apple Support network

If you are still looking to restore your device to factory settings, I'd recommend double-checking to make sure that you have a current backup of first. This is a resource for that if you need a refresher on how to create a back up:
The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support

Before you can restore your iPad, you need to follow the instructions here to disable find it my function for your iPad:

Delete a Mac or iOS device on which you can not disable Find My iPhone

If you can't disable find my iPhone on the device, turn off the unit so it will Disconnect, then remove of Find My iPhone on iCloud.com.

Note: You can also delete your iOS device by clearing the first - just follow the instructions below to remove an iOS device, you do not have. You can later restore the device of an iCloud or iTunes backup.

    1. Turn off the device you want to remove.

    2. Go to find my iPhone on iCloud.com.

If you don't find my iPhone on iCloud.com, your account has fair access to the web features only iCloud. To access find my iPhone and other iCloud features, set up on your device iOS or Mac iCloud.

    3. Click on all devices, select the device offline, then click on delete account.

If you don't see a delete account, click again on all devices, and then click the Delete button next to the device.

If the device comes online again, it reappears in find my iPhone. If your device again, turn off find my iPhone on the device (follow the instructions above to remove a device by disabling Find My iPhone), or if it is an iOS device and you no longer, follow the instructions below to remove an iOS device, you no longer have.

iCloud: remove your device, Find My iPhone

When you have selected "Delete account", you should be able to restore the device normally using iTunes.

    Take care!
