Disable NDPROXY.sys in "Non-Plug and Play drivers" will be harmful to my Windows 2008 and 2003 servers?

Since December 2010 my business about known Windows 2008 and Windows 2003 servers takeing 50 minutes or more to complete the boot process.  In general, they are sitting at the screen from Windows startup to full time.  Well, a month ago I activated the boot record and found that the NDPROXY.sys file was not loading the start-up newspaper.

So I studied this and found that there is a patch, http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/bulletin/MS10-099, systems of 2003 was published in December 2010 that touched this file.  Coincidentally, it was at the time we started long reboot problems. Windows 2008 systems were not affected by this patch, but they always NDPROXY.sys running.

I would like to know if this file is causing this anomaly on my systems, and if so, can it be turned off?

I did some research on Google and found another way to remove it by devmgmt.msc and could not find the file that it supposed to delete. So now I uninstalled the drivers, that I should not have, and I'm afraid to turn it back on. What should I do? Is there anyway I can get these drivers or is it easier to reinstall Windows Vista all together and fix the drivers and get rid of the virus?

I was also unable to update Windows with this virus, with MSE.

So, I see two possibilities. Sfc/scannow in an elevated command prompt might reapair missing files and is worth a try.

If this fails, try the system restore.  It is a risk and could fail and possibly further damaging the system.  If If is running it will probably restore the infection as well.  In this case, restart TDSSKiller and other malware analysis.

Although I always discover a wipe and reinstallaton ultimately, it may turn out to be necessary in your case.

    1. Which device you are trying to connect to the computer?
    2. You did no particular change in the computer?
    3. A device that has a code 24 in Device Manager?

Code 24 indicates that the device is not present or is not working properly, or does not all its drivers installed.

If the error code reappears, check that the device is properly connected to your computer. For example, remember that all the cables are correctly installed, or that the cards are properly housed in their locations.

  • Windows 7 does not recognize my Dell 2407WFP monitor - only as monitor not Plug-and-Play credits.

This monitor is able to execute the resolution 1920 x 1200 and it worked well on the same laptop Dell Latitude D820 under XP Pro SP3. However, Windows 7 does not recognize the Dell Monitor (shows as non-Plug-and-Play monitor credits) and will go no higher than 1600 x 1200. The monitor on the laptop will run in 1920 x 1200 and also 1920 x 1200 poster XP running inside a virtual machine, so the problem is with Windows 7 not properly recognizing the Dell 2407WFP monitor in VGA mode. All other operating systems work very well to support the material properly.

The laptop is running a NVidia Quadro NVS 120 M map. I tried several versions of Vista Dell drivers (do not have for Windows 7 - therefore Dell is not to follow). NVidia has no drivers for this card because it specially designed for Dell and all pilots must come from Dell (new Dell doesn't help here - I know that Windows 7 was just recently released but there are important suppliers for some time. Thought Dell was big by taking charge Microsoft with their business line of products but I think that even they cannot follow.

It seems that the problem is also Windows 7 is not correctly identify the Dell monitor and many other monitors as well. Unfortunately, I doubt that this issue will never be resolved by Microsoft. I have yet to see that all the issues MS resolved long. I begin to see the truth in the last pub in Apple vs MS on television. Well the time to upgrade the new hardware.

If anyone has a suggestion or a solution to solve this - I'm all ears!

How can I disable the mouse pad when you use a mouse plug-and-play? I tried to disable the driver, and nothing works.

    Hello

Check with support of the manufacturer system, documentation online or forums that there is probably
Shortcut keys that enable and disable the touchpad functions.

Parameters for TouchPad located in the control panel - mouse (there may be several tabs with TouchPad entered)
and some come with a utility that loads in the Notification area next to the clock in the bottom right.

    ==========================================

If necessary: (make sure that you have restarted at least once, if the above did not work)

Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touchpad - the driver tab-
Click on update driver (it comes may not do anything like MS is far behind the drivers of certification), now right CLICK
    on the TouchPad and UNINSTALL.

Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in). RESET

This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB. This does not prevent the touchpad from working.

The similar procedure on XP, Windows 7 and Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific device if present.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310575

Then go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest touchpad drivers.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

    I hope this helps.

  • How can I disable USB Plug-and-Play?

Whenever I plug a camera into my USB port, Windows 7 treats as it has never been plugged in before.   When I plug my iPhone or iPad to synchronize with iTunes, Windows 7 starts trying to reinstall the drivers for it even though I just unplugged it five minutes ago.  When I plug my mouse, I get the same thing.  I use a laptop for the convenience of being able to unplug everything, put it in a bag and take it with me.  It is ridiculously annoying having to wait five minutes or more to start using my mouse whenever I put in place somewhere else.  Have to restart iTunes every time I plug in my phone, because Windows decided not to recognize the device even when I had just plugged in a minute there is delayed.  It is a stupid feature, and anyone he designed by default to this mode should be fired for being a fool.
