Tamron

Hello

I have a canon eos 350 and a tamron lens

the goal fits and auto focus works but the zoom does not auto and maual

This happens when the lens is a nikon

It's funny the said lens iz is for canon but af on behalf of the goal

Ah the lens is a tamron af70 - 300mm f/4-5. 6 DI LD Macro 1: 2

You zoom the lens by twisting a part of the frame. If you can't do that, it's a problem of lens. You would not be able to mount on your camera, or have AF if it was for use on a Nikon body.

  • Canon 5 d MK IV LiveView stops immediately after having been pressed with Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8

My Canon 5 d MK IV Live View will stop immediately after having been pressed with a Tamron SP 70-200 F/2.8 Di lenses.

    I don't see the problem happens with my lens F / 2.8 Canon 24-70mm.

This problem happened in video mode.

I hope that there is a setting I have to toggle to make this objective work in Live View mode?

    Thank you

I spoke to my local camera shop, they said, that it should be referred to the Tamron for the update of the firmware, they said, that Tamron has a fairly good hand around time of approximately 5 days. I've probably will send mine once I'm done with a shoot.

The lens works very well for me, normally, the only problem for me is Live View. If this is not the case, use the LIve View, it seems to work great so it's not paralyze me right now, but it would be nice to just get it fixed if Live View will work.

The camera is also on Firmware V1.01 so their will be updates firmware for it also and as a previous post said that Canon will also address the issues with 3rd party lenses. Great! After that all the Canon doesn't want people who have glasses of third parties avoiding the body of the camera for this problem. It's logical Canon would solve this problem.

So far it is a minor bump with third party lenses. I've always been able to work with my Tamron and Sigma lenses. Just a couple of workarounds until the firmware is updated. It isn't a deal breaker for me. This camera is a pleasure to shoot with and I am very pleased with the Canon has advanced in the development, image quality with the dynamic range and low light performance. I am happy and have no regrets.

I would still recommend this camera to a friend.

  • 750D & tamron

I don't know anything about cameras. I bought a lens tamron for my daughter's birthday, but now I'm wondering if I bought the right pair. She has a 750d and I bought a tamron 70-300 lens diameter 62mm. That fit his camera? Ares there are so many different types, and it confused me.

    Thank you

As long as you have a Canon EOS mount version, so it will work with a 750 D.  It's kind of long, but it should work perfectly.

  • The Tamron lens with t5i compatibility?

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone knows if a Tamron AF28-300mm/3.5-6.3 XR Di lens is compatible with the t5i. According to the Tamron website, it is compatible with the t3i and t4i but does not list the t5i. I was thinking about this Web page, I've referenced is perhaps not up-to-date. Anyone know?

    Thank you!

    Julie ^_^

BTW, the model number is A061E

It will fit & should work as expected but from time to time the former odd goal must be re chipped to work properly. If you already have the lens try & check that the AF works correctly. It is not a reason not to install & take a few test shots.

  • 3 X TC will not work with Tamron lens

I need help, I bought a Soligor 3 X Converter TV for use with my Tamron 150 ~ 600 mm lens, the body is a 60 d. The problem is when I try to take a shot I get an error message "Err 01 communication between the camera and lens is faulty. Clean the contacts of the lens. "If I try a Canon 50 mm f/1.4 with the Soligor 3 X tele-converter & works very well. Any suggestions to why this TV converter does not work with my Tamron? I thought that it has just a Ribbon inside the TC to establish a connection.

PS. I also tried the Tamron 150 ~ 600mm & TC with my girlfriends rebel and I get the same message. I have a 1. 4 X and a 2.0 X TC and Tamron 150 ~ 600 mm lens works very well. Also I clean the contacts from each end of the TC X 3. Thank you, Blair

I assume that the error message is pretty generic and applies to any type of communication error, including incorrect data.  The incorrect data, which I think would be f/stop, which in this case would be higher to f/16 reports ot the camera...  The camera that rejects a number as being of bad data, out of range, etc.

  • Review of the Tamron 28 - 75 mm f 2.8

    Hello.

    I was recommended a Tamron 28-75 mm F 2.8 for my D - 600 camera in a separate post - 'glass in low budget for fans' http://forums.usa.canon.com/t5/Lenses/Low-budget-lenses-for-amateurs/m-p/42823#U42823

I did some checking online and have almost taken my decision to go for it.

However would welcome reviews on this goal: -.

    1. What are the gaps if any which could make it really a bad deal to buy and let me go for a lens slightly more high end?

    2. lack of if a big problem at the upper end of 75 mm? If so, under what conditions?

3 should I also look to a slightly higher budget (may stretch the budget max 900-1000 dollars) and watch a different lens? If Yes, what would be the reason to believe?

I really found this forum very useful.

    Thank you

  • Canon produce to compete with the Sigma 150-500mm zoom and will soon be released 150-600mm Tamron

    When will be complete with Sigma 150-500mm ($899 B & H), 150-600mm ($ 1 060) B & H Tamron, Canon 100-400 L is obsolete compared to these new lenses, $600 more expensive and is not the beach with my 7 d

Thanks I agree on the quality of L lenses I use 24-105mm for over a year now and I love it, the difference in cost, I can see with the way Canon lens are buiilt and I can deal with it if a new goal comes in the price range of 100-400.

I heard a rumors of rep Cannon 100-400 could be updated this year, but nothing confirmed, I was hoping that they would extend up to 500mm maybe so I'll wait to see what comes out if anything this year

  • Profile VC Tamron 15-30 LR 5 lens correction

    Hey all,.

I recently bought to Tamron 15-30 mm f/2.8 VC for Nikon.  Because I use LR 5 it doesn't have the correction of optical profile loaded.  I looked into other programs and looks like it is included in the CC and LR 6 but I have from people.  What someone knows the parameters or can provide a link where I can download the settings on my mac?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Danielg,

This lens profile support was introduced in Lightroom version CC 2015.6 / 6.6

    Consult the supported lenses

It will be better to use Adobe Lens profile Downloader and download the profile created a shared by our community of users.

View Digital Negative (DNG), Adobe DNG Converter | Adobe Photoshop CC

    Download: Mac, Win

  • Tamron VC 24-70 Lensprofile unavailable?

    Hello

I can't select the lensprofile of my Tamron 24-70.

He selects the Tamron 28-75 puts, when I try to select the 24-70, I only have the option for the 28-75 (no other Tamron lens available).

As far as I know that the correct lensprofile should be available in Lightroom.

Any ideas how access the correct lensprofile?

I use Lightroom CC, nikon D7000.

    Regards, Johan

Select a raw instead of JPG or TIF or PSD file, then you will have all the lens profiles, available.  Most of the profiles of lenses are only for photos in raw format.

  • Nikon D7200 with a 16-300 with LR5 Tamron to import raw, HOW?

I have nikon with a 16-300 Tamron D7200 using LR5. I thought that DNG would be available to import thugs. But I am not successful in what is a guy to do?

Download the free DNG Converter here:

Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Macintosh: Adobe DNG Converter 9.1

Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Windows: Adobe DNG Converter 9.1

You must point to the folder that contains the files - it does not work on individual files.

  • Not available in the menu correction lens (Tamron 18-270) lens

    Hi all

I have a couple of drinks to choose from the menu of lens correction. According to a list on the website of Adobe, my lens (Tamron 18-270) should be included, but it is not.

I use Lightroom 5 on a Win PC and a camera Sony Alpha 58. Photos taken in RAW format.

Any idea where I can find or activate the lens?

Could it be, that the Sony camera does not write the lens information in the EXIF file so that Lightroom does not know what lens I used? But, if so, why can I choose several different companies (Canon,...), but not that of Tamron?

    Best regards

    Mick

Too bad, now it works. Maybe there was an update to Lightroom, or I did something wrong before. But thanks anyway

  • 5.6 LR does not recognize my Nikon 70-300 1, mm and my Tamron 28-300 mm.

5.6 LR does not recognize my Nikon 70-300 1, mm and my Tamron 28-300mm lens profiles.  The profiles have been added in the last update, but I have to manually select them.  How can I me LR to recognize when importing?  I'm on a 1 V2 and a D800 Nikon RAW images shooting.

If you change the lens Corrections / profiles / auto Setup are they found?

If this is not so when you have a selected photo, which was shot with the lens and then select the profile of lens manually, select Setup / Set new lens profile by default and then wehenver you select by default that the lens will be chosen.  Assuming that you can get by default to pick up the two glasses for their appropriate photos, then set the LR lens Corrections / profile / default Setup instead of Auto default LR.

  • Correction of the lens for Tamron 17-50 2.8 could be better?

17mm SANS correction profil objectif Tamron.pngThis is WITHOUT the lens profile correction.

17mm avec correction profil objectif Tamron.png... and that's WITH the lens profile correction. Not very obvious, isn't it?

Upper right corner of a photo taken with the Tamron 17-50 2.8 at 17mm 5.6.

The cut isn't right but a funny!

Most likely, the slope of the cut in the corner of the image is not created by the distortion of the lens, but the camera pointing down.

When the camera is not required to level but pointing upwards or downwards, the sensor is not in parallel with the vertical lines of the Cup. It is the phenomenon of "Scheimpflug" - google for this word and you will get many results. The phenomenon of "Scheimpflug" becomes stronger towards the edges of the image.

That's why the architecture photographers use "see photo" where you can adjust the angle of the plane of the film or digital sensor map so that it is parallel to the vertical lines of a building.

You can adjust the tilt of the cutting with the manual vertical slider in the Correction of the lens, and you may need to adjust the horizontal slider as well. The compromise is now, your image will be severely "trapezoidal" and it's probably not what you want.

But you can't blame the lens profile. Profile lens corrects only distortion of the lens, no distortion by the principle of "Scheimpflug.

PS: A tilt-shift lens will also correct the distortions of the principle "Scheimpflug.
