  It seems that you have no POST issue.  Is it the caplock/numlock light up when you press it?  Did you try to connect to an external monitor to see if it's a matter of display dim?  If this is no a POSITION, try reinstalling the ram or using one at a time... you can also remove the optical drive and hard drive to see if you can start any found nail system.  If you can not always unity would require service...

  I have a Tandberg 1700, I only have one profile and it is enabled, and my display name is stored under this profile.   Can you tell us how you have configured 1700, it uses CUCM/VCS for appeal, or autonomous control?  You use h.323 or SIP to connect to others, and what end points or devices you connect to?

  Usually if you use H323, the display name will be drawn from the E.164 Alias or ID H323, SIP has an option called nickname.

  Mxp units can be saved on cucm as endpoints (base) of third parties.

  Please find the steps to enter mxp.

  The sip on mxp as uri and sip proxy address settings.

  1. sip mode: on

  3 server discovery: manual

  4. server address: ip address of cucm.

  You need a greater power to support a PCI-E power connector 6 pin. Try a Corsair CX500, or CX600.   The wheel turns on when I plug in the USB cable, but not display (black).

  My XP PC recognizes it as a USB device only, not as a Sansa player. Requests to install software via the new hardware wizard. Still no display. Windows Explorer does not list an icon in the list of drives.

  Pressing menu seems it turns off after 15 seconds, but the same thing happens when turn on - no display.

  This player sat unused for a few months, now this problem...

  You can try removing the battery for a few minutes and re-install. Sometimes this 'hard' reset will work when the 'soft' press the power button & hold does not work.
