Hi Alexander Tarvid,.
Thanks for posting to answers.microsoft.com.
First of all, I would like to refer to the article by Marilyn, seen through this link involving the removal of software malware and other tools in order to run a malware good antivirus as well.
Please follow the instructions that it highlights.
So if please run a SFC/scannow from the line of research in Windows and let us know if it finds errors, it cannot fix.
After following these steps, please let us know if it solves the problem or if assistance is needed.

Windows 7 Task Manager problem
When I type Ctrl alt delete to bring up Task Manager, I used to get a screen with a tab for the task and a tab for the process with the familiar red x in the right corner to close it. Last week I didn't notice that running tasks would come to the top and the processes tab and close x were not on the screen. Today, so that the tasks displayed I right click and choose the process now, I can't see the tasks and the narrow red x is not yet on the screen. I installed the Windows updates on 10/11/15 and I noticed the problem after the installation. Maybe it's a coincidence that the problem appeared after the update, or it may be the cause. Any suggestions on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
You are in mode 'small footprint '. Double-click anywhere in the border of the Task Manager window and the familiar interface should reappear.

The Task Manager does not work
Dear,
I have a Hp Envy 17-j009el with Windows 8.1. Recently my task manager does not work.
I checked for viruses with avast free version, but no viruses were found.
I also try the solutions suggested here withous success:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshoot-Task-Manager-problems
Could be a conflict between avast and driver intel as suggested here?

Ive also installed Process Explorer, as the alternative Task Manager, but it's not working too.

What exactly happens when you try to start the Task Manager? It appears an error message? Or it start & disappear immediately? You are able to open in safe mode Task Manager?
If you wish, you can run our free tool for detection of virus: http://www.norton.com/npe

Applications, Services, Performance, networking, users. None of these tabs are available, neither is it a line of the File Manager menu. I guess I have to re - install the feature. How can I do this?Thank youDoug NHello

Original title: Task Manager problem
I managed to solve the problem by looking for alternatives. Apparently, the problem was caused by a dat file (C:\windows\system32 folder called FNTCACHE.) (DAT) I deleted and it worked like a magic. Everything was normal again.
Deleted it and the work of all the graphical interfaces as it should. Thanks for your answer, in any case. I just post the solution here if someone ever faced with such a question in the future.
Kind regards

Firefox crashes whenever I open a site in flash like Youtube. If I open to the process task manager, then I see that flashplayerplugin will try and start over and over again and seems to hang over and over again. My Firefox and flash player are up to date. I tried to uninstall and reinstall firefox and flash player. I tried to turn off all the other modules. I even tried to install older versions of flash player, and nothing has worked. My wife uses Firefox to work, so is it possible to fix it?
You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:
- disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
- Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)
- turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
Alternatively, you can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.
