Task Manager Win7 showing wrong memory values in the process bar

I've been running Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium for quite some time now (2 years or more) and I have not encountered any serious problems. But recently my task manager started showing some strange values for all processes in the list. She says that explorer.exe is using a maximum of 65 k, which is the highest value compared to others except for firefox, which rises to 130 kb. I searched all kinds of forums and couldn't find answers. It is not a serious problem, but it makes it very difficult to know when a game or a program uses to much memory.

I don't know exactly what card to set up here. But here are some of the most important, that if all goes well, it is not my hardware.

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (6.1.7601 SP1 Build 7601)
Processor: Intel Core i7 - 2600 k CPU @ 3.40 GHz
RAM: 8 GB of DDR3 memory (I don't remember the exact manufacturer)

I hope someone can help me
-Rasmus.

According the information that you have provided, I don't see anything unusual.

My explorer.exe and IE9 using the same amount of memory (private beach).

Edit: 25/10/2013 - after reviewing your original question, I realize, my answer was incorrect.

The values must be higher.  See the last post by Emil Prager.

I apologize for my control.

  • Csrss.exe file in the Task Manager without a user name or to the description

I was told by a Yahoo tech, which was supposed to come back to me in my locked e-mail account, that it is a virus. I did some checking and found a response (from the forum) who said: if I'm trying to complete the process and get a warning window pop up, it's a legitimate file (I get the window). If I right click on it, nothing comes. Has verified the Virus, malware check, used the scanner Microsoft and even a (Speed up PC) supposed to get rid of this (if it is a virus), all come out clean. Yet, the guy from Yahoo (I called once again, argues that it is a virus. I'm confused, ideas?

    Hello

Csrss.exe is a Windows file that is stored in the directory c:\windows\system32 which corresponds to the description of the file: "Client Server Runtime process.

The csrss.exe file included with Microsoft Windows is not spyware, a Trojan or a virus. However, as any file on your computer, it can be damaged by a virus, worm or Trojan. Antivirus programs can detect and clean this file if it has been infected.

It is not safe to remove csrss.exe processes from the Task Manager. Csrss.exe is a critical system process may not be withdrawn without causing problems with Windows in Task Manager.

How can I activate Technicon in adobe elements first 13? I can see it running in the Manager of tasks as elementsautoanalyzer13.exe but didn't interrupt the process in the case where he assigned to the program.  There must be a way inside the adobe program to turn off because I turned it on by clicking with the right button on an image in the editor of the first, and then when you are prompted, he said he would run in the background and I said okay, now I can't stop it! .  It appears in earlier versions of first items under Edit-> Preferences-> media analysis you could uncheck it to turn it off.  But there is only a media section and in this tab, there is no automatic Analyzer to be seen.  Thanks in advance for any advice

Where are you looking for in organizing elements 13/13.1 that you do not see Edit Menu/preferences /-media analysis that you do not see the options of AutoAnalzyer.

    Organizing elements 13/13.1 preferences...

Please point out where you find a command to run AutoAnalzyer in the background in 13/13.1. If I right click a file, I see AutoAnalzyer perform what seems to be a time run command automatic Analyzer of a file.

Hi im running service of 64 bit vista Home premium pack 2

I can end processes very do well no problem it's just the show all button that does not work, I thought that maybe the taskmgr.exe in my right-click system32 folder and compatiability tab and running it as admin it would work, but the compatiability tab is completely grayed out all I can't click anything in it.

Im not a big computer wiz, but I checked my user accounts account im logged on says that it is the administrator and UAC is on.

  • Outlook stops responding. The Task Manager is unable to stop it. Then, the Task Manager is not responding. What is the problem

My Dell 1720 runs on Windows Visate Home Premium. Sometimes, Outlook stops responding and will not recover. I launch the Task Manager to stop the program. He is unable to stop Outlook. After several attempts, the Task Manager is no longer in effect. Sometimes I get the message that Windows Explorer has stopped working. What is the problem please?
    George

    Hi George,.

3rd party applications and malware are often cause for this. Have you tried the clean boot such as suggested above (that isolates the background application that could cause the problem)? Also try to run a full scan with your antivirus.

  • I can't try to enable the Task Manager, since he has become disabled by the system administrator.

I have some how disabled the Task Manager in my windows software and have not been able to allow him and everytime I try I get a message that says that the Task Manager disabled by the administrator, and when I search the Task Manager I get a message that says file not found. How can I get the Task Manager enabled again.

If it is a stand-alone machine and is not part of a domain and that you are the administrator, it is possible that you see signs of a malware infection.

Tools like Regedit or MsConfig, work for you?
