Tecra 9100 - BONES recovered but still no sound

Hello world

I still have problems with the sound on my m T9100 and it seems that other people have the same.

I bought the laptop with dead mobo then had another to replace and not laid out fresh installation of XP Pro Sp3 and its place and running problem, but no sound.
After reading the other discussions on the topic, I used my Toshiba Recovery discs and all is well but still no sound.

I tried to update the drivers for the card his Yamaha but still not good. So I got another sound card and knowing that he s a good.
I mounted it but guess what no sound, at the moment its running Xp pro but I n t updated all the service packs.

If I used the recovery disks surely it should work because the way you would a obtained again! I m lost now and don t know what to do.

If I uninstall Yamaha altogether and restart I get found new hardware audio controller. Can I get found new Yamaha sound device, and then get Yamaha didn't install and could not function.

Ideas please fly

Hello

The problem is that your Yamaha sound card driver does not support the SP1 or SP2.

You said that you have installed XP Pro and Sp3.
SP3 can be installed ONLY if SP2 has been installed too so the reason why you n her t get is clear; compatibility issue between the Member States of service packs and pilot of his Yamaha.

Please see the page of the European driver Toshiba. In the Archive-> Tecra-Tecra-Tecra 9100 > 9xxxx-> driver sound >, you will find two different its XP drivers.

Try to update!

  • Lost sound laptop-ATI and IDT files deleted, restored, but still no sound

    Hello

By mistake I deleted files ATI high definition Audio Device and IDT Audio Codec.

When I realized that these were system files I restored them and reloaded the drivers, but I have still no sound and YouTube videos crash after about 10 seconds.

I checked the drivers in the Device Manager and for the IDT Codec, I get:

"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might be installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or maybe it's a malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)  "

    Ideas everyone.

    Thank you

    Success!

In 'Control Panel' came in "Troubleshooting" and then "hardware and sound" and then under "Sound" automatically reloaded the drivers and it works again.

In "Setup/sound Panel" under 'Record and playback' IDT HD Audio CODEC drivers have reinstalled for speakers and headphones etc..

  • The drivers are all workers, but still no sound with windows 7

I have a frustrating noise problem. My sound worked completely fine until yesterday. When I start my computer, I realized that no sound came out. I went through many forums to find the solution and I checked all the simple stuff like making sure my devices are activated, an active audio service, reinstalled / updated audio drivers etc... I even went into the BIOS and loaded by default and still no sound. I've gotten to the point where I don't know what I can do. Help please!

    Hi all

I'm sorry that you are running in this issue of no sound. You get any sound with headphones?

Also, I would suggest trying a hard reset as the next faster and less invasive stage. This can sometimes fix strange problems because it drains all the electricity unit. Here are the steps for a Hard Reset.

I hope this helps! Let me know the results, if you have a chance

I can't some types of output audio through my headphones or speakers on board, even if all my speakers are working properly.

My headphones are connected via a USB device and my speakers are built into the laptop.

For some reason I can't identify the things that will play are system sounds, Tests of setting up Audioand the occasional youtube video .

In addition, there is no audio output. However, I have confirmed that my speakers on board both my headphones are working properly.

I did a reboot, am in the middle of a scan for malware and checked all my volume controls to make sure that nothing was accidentally put on mute.

I always still try to uninstall the driver and a system restore.

The only thing that has changed on my PC before the problem occurred, it linked to a TV via an HDMI cable. In this case, all the sound elements were correctly rerouted to the loudspeakers of the TV.

This laptop honestly gave me nothing that trouble since I was, so any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

I read your post on how your laptop is not able to produce a sound for most audio applications, and I would be happy to help you in this case!

I have to reactivate the audio to your computer, is advised to remove the pilots in programs and features and the Device Manager. Once removed the old software, restart your computer. When the laptop is started in Windows, please download and install the driver Audio IDT high definition (HD).

If the problem persists, I suggest also return your system to a restore point when the audio was working properly. This can be done by following this document on using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7).

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your response!

  • Instances the fault and recover, but still registered as running

I have a composite that contains two bpel process. The first calls, the second with 'fire and forget '. Tens of thousands of cases, we run every day, but from time to time, a small cluster (running at roughly the same time) seem to get stuck running. We have a manager of breakdowns in place that will try several attempts before sending an e-mail notification and ending the process. Review of the audit trail seems to show that the process bpel 1 failed (red X) before calling the second bpel process, but no error information is displayed and without defects are reported. Trail at the end of the 1st bpel process indicates a recovery and comprehensive audit trail does show a 2nd success try with the bpel process 1st call the second process successfully. So everything seems to have finally succeeded. But the instance itself is still listed as current enforcement, which is disconcerting, and no indication of the initial fault lie. It is a production CA. If logging is limited. Anyone encountered before? Someone has an idea of what might be happening here?

  • Tecra 9100: No sound and unknown device

I have the laptop above and have recently flattened and reinstalled Windows XP pro. I have no sound, I have a speaker in my sys tray, Device Manager detects the card Intel (r) 82801 CA/Cam AC'97 Audio Controller, after I installed the RealTek AC 97 drivers. I plugged in the headphones to make sure that this is not not the speakers who have blown. But still no sound. All volumes are turned upward and the volume on the front wheel is set in the middle. In sounds and audio in the Control Panel, all volumes are increasing and the speakers are set to portable stereo speakers.

    Any ideas?

I have a unknown devices in Device Manager States location is a system compatible ACPI Microsoft from what I see on Google it's something to do with the battery. Once again any ideas?

    Thank you

I know that your laptop. It s a Tecra 9100 and this laptop supports a Yamaha YMF753 - stereo 16-bit Sound Blaster Pro compatible sound card.

The problem is the XP SP1 or SP2. The audio driver of Yamaha does not support SP1.
Seems that you need to update the audio driver.

  • Equium A100 upgrade to Windows 7, but now no sound

    Hello

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7, but since then have no sound.
I checked that all devices are active and not cut.
I visited the sites of Realtek and Toshiba and downloaded the latest version of the software recommended by Toshiba, but still no sound.

I've seen other assignments related to a similar question - can you advise how I can fix this, please?

    Hi Frannie,

Can you please test the sound through the headset? Maybe the internal speakers do not work and if you n t hear all the sounds.
    Check this box!

I think that for the moment you can only try to update the BIOS. The Web of Toshiba site always displays the latest version. Have you installed it?

An interesting thing: have you had these problems on the factory settings?

  • No speaker sound, news, still no sound

Hello, all. I have a Dell Inspiron with Windows Vista. Works very well. But this morning my speakers grilled. I want to say really burned, smoked and quit smoking. I therefore had no sound, of course. Bought new speakers, but still no sound! Check the settings of the sound on the computer and I saw "RealTek High Definition Audio: work.» The fact that speakers are connected correctly. Only difference with the new speakers is that they have a jack instead of taking double nerve, but said seller would change nothing. Help, please! Can't be without the sound! Thank you!

Jack is normal, but they make a double-jack adapter, its 1/8 of an inch.

Whatever it is, for the speakers to actually burn & smoke, is the rare cases. So that this will take place, the

speaker to the audio entry record would probably be thus affected, perhaps even grilled.

With speakers in good entry plug port and if you have changed the properties of the sound card, try to go to run, or

cmd, type: DXDIAG running direct X tests... You can also open the device mgr, expand the sound, locate

the his hardware, R.click on this topic, select: uninstall the pc reboot, vista will reinstall it on reboot. In addition, download the

latest software/drivers for realtek sound card, go to his web site...

  • The editable Tecra 9100 sound card?

Can someone tell me if the sound card on the Tecra 9100 is editable? And if so, where to find a new. And how to open the laptop in order to proceed to the place of the sound card.
    Thank you, Peter (of Germany)

    Hello

I think the Tecra 9100 uses a stand-alone sound table
Yamaha YMF753 - 16-stereo sound blaster pro compatible system (WAVE und MIDI) bits
It could be removed and replaced without replacing the entire motherboard, but that part can be ordered from the Toshiba service partner.
But it looks like you don't have many experiences from these exchanges of witch.

So I recommend you to contact a technician for these replacements.

  • No sound on my Tecra 9100

    Hello

I have a 9100 used Tecra since 1 year 1/2. Works well, but 3 months work doesn t sound more. I put t know if I made any specific. I use Windows XP Prof. SP2 (but I used the same when it worked). The sound card is recognized by the operating system and it starts working again but not sound with the speakers and no sound with headset also.

It worked once, and I think that there should be a solution. And I also think that there is no problem with the IO card because the operating system recognizes the soundcard. But maybe I think too :-)

Seems that the Yamaha audio driver does not support the service pack of Microsoft.
There is only one solution, you will update the driver that supports the MS or you will remove him the MS service packs of the system.
I prefer the first solution ;)
