  If you have an external USB practice that could help us to do this installation. Otherwise you can boot into dos mode by pressing F8 during startup. Then enter Windows with the command prompt, assuming that he has enough pilots to do this. If you manage to do, run an FDISK to format everything and start a clean install. That should make it work.   AFAIK it's win-BIOS version (windows version) and not a version TRAD (traditional), so the update of the BIOS must be running OS.

  There should be an exe file that must be executed to start the update of the BIOS!

  LAN installation is very easy.
  First of all, you need the correct LAN driver.
  In order to download the LAN driver please visit the Toshiba driver page and choose your model of laptop.

  Once the LAN driver has been downloaded, you will need to decompress.
  Then you will need to access the Device Manager, choose the controller Ethernet (network cards) and must point to the place where the LAN driver was decompressed.

  I m wondering that you have installed Windows 7 on this good old classic. In my opinion Windows XP would be the best choice, but ok, you can do what you want ;)

  Anyway, AFAIK your laptop is equipped with an Intel graphics card then I recommend to download the driver form Intel directly because the Web from Toshiba site displays only the Windows XP display drivers.
