I had to reload my o/s on my Tecra M1 caused by a virus. My wireless drivers are missing, where can I download it from? I tried the download page on here, but no luck.
Thanks for any help. Steve

  • Need x 64 Vista for Tecra A9 drivers

I would like to install Windows Vista x 64, but there is a problem on Toshiba page is not compatible with vista x 64 drivers. I have a Tecra A9 laptop.
Anyone know what other Toshiba laptop I could take the drivers?

    > Anyone know what other Toshiba laptop I could take the drivers?

Hmm. You should check the single computer series laptop and you should try the drivers only. Maybe some drivers will work on your Tecra because many laptops are equipped with the same features.

I don t see otherwise as to check the drivers only.
Also check your chipset that is installed in your laptop and then some drivers for this chip on chip manufacture website.
For example; If your wireless network card is Intel then you can see the Intel page for the correct driver.

    Good luck

    Hey

I just bought this laptop that was used I installed very different drivers for the wireless, but none of them work. I also have a problem with the battery.

Sorry for the foreign language: P

One of the photos shows the network cards and it seems that your Tecra supports processors Intel 2200 802.11 B/G WLan card

Go to Device Manager and check if the WLan Intel 2200 card is recognized.

If it s not, install the driver WLan Intel (Intel PRO/Wireless 2200/2915) which can be found here:
    http://APS.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/?page=downloads

the first photo shows only Intel ProSet is just and only the tool for configuring Intel Wlan driver and NOT so possibly the driver WLan is missing.

  • BOUNCING Tecra M11 - 11K wireless signal

    Hi all

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with a Tecra M11 - 11K running on the latest service pack of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

In it, the wireless tends to disconnect sporadically, no matter how clean the signal is WAP, or what type of encryption. All the other machines work very well and it has the same behavior when using hotspots public or closed...

We also tried to use the latest drivers provided by Intel, nothing helps.
The machine also has a system to install.

Clues or tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Have you tried to deactivate the energy saving function?
Windows 7 power management offers various options in order to save the battery.

If this may affect the Wlan functionality.
Please check the Windows 7 power management and disable the Wlan to save energy.

Also you can go to-Wlan card-> Advanced tab > Device Manager and could check the available options.
I can't tell exactly what options are available, because it depends on the Wlan card.

When I try to install the SoundMAX driver correct (I know it's okay, I have another computer laptop tecra m2 is exactly the same) the following error message is displayed right at the end of the installation.

+ "The driver does not exist! Restart your system and run this installer again. » +

When I go into Device Manager, all devices are taken into account except an unknown device, which is a yellow questionmark with a small exclamation mark on it. The device soundmax isn't here.

Any help on the above a lot appreciated.
    Rob ;)

You can try to use the drivers for Vista 64-bit of the manufacture of the chip but it seems that you need drivers designed by Toshiba. :(

Unfortunately, Toshiba does not all 64-bit drivers. Or for XP for Vista.

If all goes well, they will change this in the future, but right now, there is nothing to do.

  • Tecra S2-> drivers and utilities for Vista?

    Hello

Does anyone know if Toshiba intends to release drivers for the Tecra S2, is not so old and my model has more then enough grunt to run Vista, my only hesitation in the upgrade is not knowing if utilities such as power manager will work, or if they will all be upgraded.

    Thank you!

The update/version of the Vista driver is a theme of Top10 here in the forum.
    (check the other categories ;))

I think Toshiba will first publish drivers for mobile phones capable of Vista with vista tab.
I m not sure about books another but I think Toshiba will release some drivers for laptops that are able to run Vista

  • How to change the display on Tecra 8100 drivers?

I downloaded the driver for Tecra 8100 my girlfriend updates, but I can't figure out how to install them. The laptop is running Win2k sp4.

I tried the 'normal' method of "update driver" and then selecting the new pilots, but Win2k still find the original drivers and not the new drivers.

I also tried to unpack the new drivers in the folder that contains the original drivers and replace the files in duplicate. I zipped the original file so that Win2k couldn't see the original files. I then tried to run the Setup program, but the future restart the card was not detected. It is only when I unzipped the original files once again that the new map was suddenly, and v5 drivers have installed again!

I really want to install drivers v7 - everyone has ideas on what goes wrong? can someone give me a step by step guide how to go V5 to v7?

I forgot to mention - I tried to launch uninstaller to S3, but seems not to do anything.

  • Latest Toshiba 3 G drivers & Wireless Manager do not work in Windows 7?

    Hi all

I've installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled the latest Toshiba 3 G drivers and Toshiba Wireless Manager software for my netbook NB200-123, and they do not seem to work in Windows 7.

When I start the software Toshiba Wireless Manager now (version 6.3.1.101), it starts for a split second, then Windows 7 will then appear a dialog box stating:

    "Wireless Manager has stopped working"

(I used to have the old XP drivers work in part, if they had the problem you hibernation the netbook, the next time you open the software Toshiba Wireless Manager, it would freeze in the place where he says, 'opening pilot', and he would never come back)

I currently have the following versions:
Toshiba F3507g - (from Toshiba) Mobile broadband device version 4.54.7103.1, dated dated 26/06/2009
Toshiba F3507g Mobile Broadband Network adapt - (from Ericsson) version 1.0.0.52 dated dated 29/07/2009

If someone else has managed to get this working on their 123 NB200 with Windows 7? I wonder if I have a version of bad driver somewhere?

I can't imagine that Toshiba would have rolled out this without testing, so I must have something misconfigured somewhere.

    Best
    Rob

So far, there is no driver / WM for available for download Win7.
The existing XP/Vista driver / WM may not work on Win7.

SW for an update of Windows 7 will be released soon.

  • Tecra 9100 - no wireless connection

    Can anyone help please?

The wireless in the toolbar icon has a red x and will not let me connect even though I see my router.
Can someone tell me how to solve this problem? I have Tecra 9100 with Windows XP SP3.
    Thank you

    Hello

The icon in the toolbar with a red cross?

Well buddy, have you checked if the WLan card is properly recognized in Device Manager?
Usually a first step to clarify if the wireless card is ok or if something breaks down.
In the device-> network card Manager, you should see the wireless network card.
If there is a yellow exclamation point, then try to update the WLan driver.

If the driver has been installed correctly and there is no yellow exclamation mark then the next step would be checking the settings of network connections.

Check if the wireless network connection is enabled (Start button-> settings-> network connection)

    Check it out!

  • Tecra M2 and wireless network - signal strength problem

    Need advice buying wireless kit.

I have a DSL phone line connection and I am currently using a Speedtouch USB modem connected to my workstation down.

I have a laptop Toshiba Tecra M2 with construction of wireless support. I want to be able to share the internet connection which comes in the workstation down. I guess that my options for the workstation are to use a DSL wireless modem to share the internet connection or to use a PCI card in my computer. I tried them both.

I first tried to set up an infra mode network with the laptop using a LinksysWAG54G which was connected to the telephone line and a computer. But the problem with that I was t couldn't do accept the subnet mask that my ISP (Lixxus) provided 255.255.255.255 (PPoA). This modem has all the masks of SN in a dropdown list, but mine isn't in this list. I returned this modem.

I tried then set up an adhoc network purchase buy a PCI Wireless card for my desktop, and internet connection sharing etc. on the workstation. However, while it worked, and I could see the desktop of my laptop, the problem has been the wireless range. The signal disappear when I wore the laptop in the back room on the first floor. It would have been a distance of 10 meters in a straight line between the laptop and desktop. There are walls two bricks and a floor between the two machines. It seemed hopeless, so I sent the PCI card.

I'm not sure what to try next.

Any suggestions that I could try next?

    Suggested hardware?

Signal strength - could the problem be that the antenna in portable insufficient Tosh - it too small?

    Hello

I have the same situation at home. The best solution for this is to use the wireless router. Here you have the possibility to connect several computers desktop or laptop. In this case the configuration of wireless connection is very easy and it works fine. I also use it at home and in front of my house with no problems.

  • HP Support Assistant is unable to install the drivers wireless wireless device not recognized at startup

    Name and product number:

    HP Envy Sleekbook4 PC / / C2K72UA #ABA

    Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

    System Operalting:

    Latest Windows 8

    No error message.

    Changes:

Uninstalled some things via the control panel (I don't know where I can find a newspaper which has been uninstalled)

Attempt to system restore and it failed.

    My diagnosis:

First of all, some info on why the devices do not work.

The USB controller claims there are insufficient system resources to complete the API. However, I am only using about 20% of my memory and my hard drive. If I deactivate and reactivate the device through Device Manager it starts working until the computer passes in mode 'sleep' or reboots.

The Realtek PCIe controller and Intel Centrino Wireless adapter simply read {operation failed}. If I disable and re-enable these devices via Device Manager they begin to work until the computer mode "sleep" or reboots.

The Microsoft Kernel Debug network adapter "is not present, is not working properly or is not all its drivers installed."

Intel WiUSB - windows cannot load the drivers for this device (code 31).

The HP support assistant tries to download and install "Wireless for windows drivers 8. The download succeeds, but the installation fails.

At startup, windows thinks that there are no network adapters (other than bluetooth). After the reboot of the devices from the Device Manager, they appear in the section of the network adapters.

Thank you in advance for reading this and any help you may be able to offer,

    Tim

I see. Unfortunately, the failure of the short DST means that the hard drive needs to be replaced. The computer is still under warranty?

If so, you can contact HP Technical Support and ask them to send you a replacement. This replacement will come with recovery media. If you don't have an external CD drive, make sure you request a recovery rather than recovery disks USB. They should know that the model already, but, I would make sure. Once you have received the new hard disk, you will need to send the back of an old man in this same area, using the provided shipping label. The technician on the phone will give you the details on that.

If the computer is out of warranty, you can replace it with any HDD notebook 2.5 ". If you need help choosing a car, let me know

You certainly have the WLan driver.

You will find all Wlan drivers:

Sorry but there are a number of models of Equium A100 and therefore it s not possible to tell which driver WLan you have without knowing the model number.
