Tecra S5 - 14R: Toshiba Flash Cards stops working: Runtime Error R6025

Hi all.

Material: Toshiba Tecra S5 - 14R
I have a problem with the software Toshiba Flash Cards.
When it starts I received a "R6025 - pure virtual function call" error, and then microsoft alert that Toshiba Flash Cards software stopped working

I use Windows Vista Business 32 bit OS and I downloaded the new version of the software Toshiba Flash Cards (v.2.00.05), but this does not solve the problem.

If someone could help?

Hello

It seems that this error is known for support of Microsoft people, and so they have published an article in the knowledge base.
This error is also displayed if you run the Microsoft Money software.

Please, try the steps outlined here:
[Runtime error: "R6025-virtual function call Pure" | ""] http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/240437]

I would recommend this as:

1. disable Flash cards
2. Click Start, type cmd in the search box and press ENTER.
3. at the command prompt, type the following lines one at a time and then press ENTER after each line:
-regsvr32 softpub.dll
-regsvr32 wintrust.dll
-regsvr32 initpki.dll
-regsvr32 dssenh.dll
-regsvr32 rsaenh.dll
-regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll
-regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll
-regsvr32 sccbase.dll
-regsvr32 slbcsp.dll

4. again turn on the Flash Card Utility

In addition, nobody knows why the search for drivers for my model pack battery bluetooth but my model does not appear to have bluetooth? :)

    Hello

Wait a minute, please! Order in which you have installed/reinstalled the Flash Cards Support utility and value added package? It would be interesting to know what you did exactly.

I used the following to this problem repair order:
I uninstalled the Flash Cards Support utility and then added value package. I did a restart and cleaned the system using CCleaner. A restart more and I installed the package value first and Flash then cards support utility. Now, I've done the last restart and the FN keys started working!

It is important to install the new versions for Windows 7!
This means that cards Flash Utility version 1.63.0.4 and 1.2.34_64 version VAP Support. I founded both on the Web from Toshiba site :)

  • Toshiba Flash Cards has stopped working...!

    HI :)

    My problem is:
When I start my laptop an error message pops up saying: "Toshiba Flash Cards has stopped working".

What is Toshiba Flash Cards? and what I will do with this error?

Also, is the utility of flash refers to the Fn key card in the keyboard? If it is, so the problem above will not let me use the usefulness of this key "Fn".

    Thank you: x

    Hello

Software Toshiba Flash Cards belongs to Toshiba value added package (VAP) and it controls the functionality of the FN button too.

If this service has stopped working so I recommend if you allow it.
For this you must have access to the services of Vista:
    -Go to the Start Menu
-In the white line (search) type services and press ENTER.
-Click on continue in the UAC prompt, (if it is necessary to provide the password for administrator approval)
-Search for Flash or PPV cards or similar
-Right click on the service if you want to disable or enable, and click Properties. You will find an option to enable or disable this service

    Also on this page:
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/59910-services.html

But if this will not help you then need to reinstall the VAP.

I did a lot of steps trying to resolve this problem, install a newer version and higher VALUE ADDED PACKAGE, send problem report to Microsoft and upgrade the version of the BIOS, but they are not useful.

    Hello!

Did you remove the old VAP first before installing the VAP?
Remove the old VAP, restart the computer and then install the new VAP.

Did you install the laptop with the Toshiba recovery disc or disc of Microsoft?

I installed the driver, and nothing happened...

Any idea to solve this problem? Because I usually used it in Vista.

Thank you and sorry for my English ;-)

    Hello

The Toshiba Flash Cards has been designed for Windows Vista only

Windows 7 is very similar to the Vista and many pilots could and would go with Windows 7, but in very rare cases certain tools would not fully compatible

The Toshiba Flash Cards is not a driver; It s a utility that seems to be is not compatible with Windows 7

  • Qosmio X 500 - 10W - how to uninstall Toshiba Flash Cards?

    Hello
Toshiba Flash Cards use 17536 Ko as resources and is not essential
How can I uninstall Toshiba Flash Cards?
    Thanks for the reply

    Hi valrick,

OK, let's talk about this difficult issue

According to the specifications the Qosmio X 500 - 10W is equipped with 4 GB memory DDR3. I think that s a lot and that s, only necessary if you play games or do a lot of video editing for example. In the contrary case, 2 GB would be enough for Windows 7.

So far so good. First of all can I ask you if you know why Toshiba Flash Cards are installed and which work they do?
Akuma has already written, they control the FN keys. If you install, your FN keys will not longer work. So I would not recommend this because the FN keys are important in my opinion.

Last but not least: do you really think 17.5 MB requires too many resources on the Qosmio X 500? ;)
I can t believe this because there are better optimizations that you can do like this important tool uninstall

  • Problems with Toshiba Flash cards

I have problems with toshiba flash Cards on my desk and stay there.  It says flash cards, not reponding, but I can't get rid of it.  This utility is really necessary to make my computer work correctly?  How can I get it out of my office?

    Hi Bklawinsky,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         The other device USB (Universal Serial Bus) have recognized?

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

Method 1: You will need to check the updated version of the utility of flash cards on the site of Toshiba, if found, install and check if the problem persists.

Method 2: If you can't find any update of the utility so I would suggest that you uninstall using programs and features, reinstall it later using the Toshiba website, according to your model number of the computer to download the utility below.

    Uninstall or change a program

  • Satellite P200 - 1EE 100% CPU with Toshiba Flash Cards usage

Resource monitor shows 100% CPU usage constantly in recent weeks (no problem for the first 6 months that I have owned the machine) with 85 to 99% of my CPU used on 2 entries each shown as "Toshiba Flash Cards", no idea why and how I can sort this out as it slows everything down? Thank you very much

    Andy

    Hello

The utility of Toshiba Flash Cards is a part of the Vista Toshiba value added package and it controls the functionality of buttons FN.
Kody said already that it is advisable to reinstall the VAP to check if it would prevent the high utilization of the processor.

You should also clean the operating system using the CCLeaner. After PPV remove you must run the CCLeaner to ensure that all of the VAP files have been deleted.

  • How to disable the Toshiba Flash Cards pop up?

    Hello!

    I have a question:

When I move my mouse over the top edge of the screen, a series of shortcuts for the various parameters appear as mute, lock, power Plan, etc...

It's really boring when I watch movies, because I see a thin white line at the top... so I would like to know if I can somehow turn off these icons? so, they do not appear? I don't use them anyway then...

Here is a screenshot to make it easier for you if you do not understand my ramblings :)

    Thank you!

    Hello

    You certainly talk about the Toshiba Flash cards and this feature can be disabled in;

    Start-> all programs-> Toshiba-> Utilities-> settings for Flash cards.

Check this, and you will find the required option.

    Good bye

  • Toshiba service station stop works on Vista 64

I have Satellite A505, and the Toshiba service station stop working.
I uninstalled the app and I replaced it for the latest version 2.1.33 and isn't problem solved.

The service station message is "the Toshiba service station initialization failed. Try to restart or reinstall the application.
Any suggestions to solve the problem?

To be honest, I've never heard of this application and is perhaps a specific application of country/continent. I have the European model and we have a similar application called TEMPRO. This application runs in the background and informs the user of new updates or driver downloads.

I don't know if this Toshiba service station is designed for the same purpose, but I can tell you with certainty that this application is not so important, and you can live without it. I have TEMPRO removed from the system. In my opinion, if you have this kind of problem with it, it deletes the system and the problem is solved.

Can you please tell us for what is this necessary application?

  • Network card stops working

After a storm, the network card stops working.
Re-installed windows hardware Manager after restarting the system, but it is not working properly.

It connects to the network, but it does not send or receive packets of data.
The MAC address has been changed by the windows hardware Manager and the orange card light is constantly on, even if I remove the network cable.

    Hello

    > MAC address has been changed by the windows hardware Manager
It is unlikely because to my knowledge the MAC address is fixed and cannot be changed.

You said something about storm for me that this is a reason why the network adapter does not work correctly.
It is perhaps short circuit on the motherboard
I put t think this could be fixed in the easy way so you should contact a technician who could check the laptop to solve the problem of LAN card
