  I guess you use preinstalled DVD player, called WinDVD. If Yes please try starting your laptop, change the external device (projector) using the FN + F5 key combination. I read somewhere that change the logical SCSI's Bus type at LSI logic could be the problem. I changed the setting and tried again - same result. Then I went back to the logic of Bus and he fed up, and it worked! Don't ask how or why to buy the virtual machine correctly.
