• jump the GPT disks in converter?

  Hey everybody!

  Trying to convert a physical Windows 2003 which has a GPT disk, is it possible to tell converter to stop being narrow minded and let me choose the disks I want to convert? Its stupid it expel as soon as it detects a GPT disk with an error! All I want is two discs and not the GPT but unfortunately this is more like a third-party product or cloning the drive and creating a new virtual machine and restore. Seriously, I would have preferred no downtime of the converter route...

  Any ideas? Or VMWare can have this us as a feature request in the future? Surely, the option to continue with a machine that does not have the GPT as system disk would be reasonable? Let the end user options on the way they travel these data if they...

  Unplug for the GPT disk conversion, this will solve the problem with the caveat of the converter.

  Also previous Converter 4.3 must not recognize GPT and probably it will pop, you need to try with.

• 3 X TC will not work with Tamron lens

  I need help, I bought a Soligor 3 X Converter TV for use with my Tamron 150 ~ 600 mm lens, the body is a 60 d. The problem is when I try to take a shot I get an error message "Err 01 communication between the camera and lens is faulty. Clean the contacts of the lens. "If I try a Canon 50 mm f/1.4 with the Soligor 3 X tele-converter & works very well. Any suggestions to why this TV converter does not work with my Tamron? I thought that it has just a Ribbon inside the TC to establish a connection.

  PS. I also tried the Tamron 150 ~ 600mm & TC with my girlfriends rebel and I get the same message. I have a 1. 4 X and a 2.0 X TC and Tamron 150 ~ 600 mm lens works very well. Also I clean the contacts from each end of the TC X 3. Thank you, Blair

  I assume that the error message is pretty generic and applies to any type of communication error, including incorrect data.  The incorrect data, which I think would be f/stop, which in this case would be higher to f/16 reports ot the camera...  The camera that rejects a number as being of bad data, out of range, etc.

  You can see how it performs your depth of field considerably long distances. Youshouln can't still need in most cases with this power zoom. You might need a tripod unless your super stable.

  It is a generic TV converter I don't see any listed for your model, I have the similar to your SX50HS. I use adapters to mount a 2 X tele-converter that Ive had for a former model Powershot to mine, but only on close shots with zoom, very little.

  I found with 50 X zoom that I don't need.

• Length of the Canon PowerShot g15 58mm adapter

  I recently bought a bunch of lenses for my Powershot G15.  The main requirement was the gun adapter to fit on the existing, no removable lens.

  The barrel fits the width, and the additional lenses are brilliant.  However, when I extend the zoom on the powershot, the existing goal hit the cannon, imposes an error and the camera stops.

  I had a quick glance for the longer barrels adapter, but it only seems to be available to 58mm.

  My questions are:

  (1) I'm not supposed to zoom when using adapter lenses?

  (2) is there anywhere to buy a longer barrel adapter?

  (3) is there a trick I'm missing?

  (4) do I just totally wasted my money on this camera and this lens pack?

  The lens should never hit your lenses added! Do not continue or you will ruin your camera.

  Have you bought brand gun or a brand of alternative?

  What attachments lens are you using? They exceed to below the top of the lens adapter?

  The correct part number is THE DC58L and Canon says.

  The lens of Conversion of THE DC58L adapter is only compatible with the TC-DC58E, the MP-14EX Macro Ring Lite tele-converter and the Macro Twin Lite MT-24EX. With older lenses of conversion is not recommended.

  The answer is 'no '.

  The long answer is "Yes, but..." "Most teleconverters cost much more than the SAL75300 and if you found one that was consistent (that is, can in good physical shape and will not damage the lens or himself during the operation), it wouldn't support AF with any reliability, and it would degrade the quality of the image faster than simply cropping of the images of the objective in itself.

  Teleconverters are cruel and ruthless and surprisingly strong demand and fast lenses think in a first time - 300/2.8 or 500/4.  I used Sony X with the 70 - 200/2.8 G SSM 2.0 (more sharp lens I've ever used) and was disappointed by the results.

  If my message saved you several hundred dollars and a headache, please mark it as "accept as a Solution.

  If you open a file from a previous version, it is considered to be a 'new' file (and tell converted after the name of the file) to protect you from accidentally overwrite the original. ID has no idea where the new files must be saved, the dialog box defaults to the last place a backup as the operation has been executed. Happen not once the conversion is complete.
