  Is there another solution in addition to the digital filter solution?

  I understand that you have a 7520 Photosmart of HP printer e-all-in-one that does not respect the line the condition test fax, even if AT & T checked and said it was OK. I would like to help.

  Here is a support document which deals with the types of telephone lines different and various options - using an HP all-in-one or a product of Fax on a PBX, ISDN, or DSL phone systemof configuration.

  I don't know if they do it, but you could see if your provider offers a voice over IP service (VoIP). Here is a document of support, you can view - Fax with VoIP Services.

  Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

  I have a HP Officejet 4500 G510g-m all-in-One and Windows 7.  Never any problems.  In recent years, I have been fax from a dedicated line, separate from my regular telephone line.   I decided to save money and my phone line fax.  Other that simply move the fax line to a separate socket to the same wall jack as my phone and change the fax number box, is there anything else I should do?  I did not move the phone cord to a different port on the fax - should I?   I already ran a fax test and passed.

  9/29 - I just had a friend try to fax to me.  The phone rang and rang even if I set to 2 rings.  It's never logged and sent a fax.

  9/29 again - I have an answering machine.  I changed it to pick up to 4 fires and fax to pick up 6.  I had a friend try to fax, it has not been connected.    He received my faxesbut that I can't get any sound.

  Looks like the problem may very well be Vonage. Since I msgd you I found 6 people with the same problem and none of them have been solved. I'll have to give up and return to the dedicated fax.

• Fax line down to PAP2T

  I have the VOIP PAP2T adapter to work. The line fax, connection to the adapter does not work. I tried it disconnected / reconnected without success.

  Can someone help me? I connect to the Setup screen, but I do not see the restart feature.

  The Photosmart HP 7510 only provide digital fax capabilities using the eFax service, the device does not support the analog fax lines.

  To use another phone to activate the fax, it would need to be defined to receive faxes manually. Once you pick up the phone and determine whether an incoming fax that is when you enter the code for the fax to take over the line. • Problems with VG350 fax line

  We currently have a VG350 and run CUCM 8.6

  We have a port configured and connected to a fax machine. When we call the number, the fax machine rings and we are able to meet the line if hang us a test set to it. When it is connected to the fax, if you call it the fax never picks up the line. We checked the fax and it is configured for an automatic response. We also tried to use a stand-alone POTS as a test and if you call it when it is connected to the fax machine, he will answer you. The only problem is when you use a line through the VG350. Any idea would be appreciated.

• Fax HP Photosmart C410 connects to the telephone line at home instead of the dedicated fax number

  I have a Photosmart C410a.  The machine must be connected to the dedicated fax line, and number of this line was introduced in the fax header.  However, when tested using the FaxBack Service, fax back called the conduct of the House instead of connected to the fax line.  The machine is connected directly to the wall and there is no dispatcher, etc., with the home phone.  The telephone number doesn't have to all be typed them into the C410a.  Any thoughts you may have on what might be happening would be greatly appreciated.

  RESOLVED: The problem has been an error with the FaxBack service - my camera was working normally.  The best way to test your machine is either send/receive a fax with a friend or with HP customer support.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see you want for your printer HP switch automatically when an incoming fax arrives. You have not the possibility to activate the automatic answer - on, but the printer must be turned on so that this function executes.

  There is however no way to set the preferences to activate the printer when it is off.

• OfficeJet Pro 8620 thinks that it is connected to a non-existent telephone line

  When I type the touchscreeen on the printer to reactivate the energy saving mode, it displays the following message:

  The phone cord is plugged.  To receive faxes, the printer must be turned on.

  Note that the printer must be turned off at 24:00, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  To change the calendar, use the calendar on and off feature in the Setup menu.

  All this information is true, except that no telephone cord is connected.  I tried to remove the blind plug installed at the factory of telephone fax on the printer plug, but it makes no difference.
