Test application android without device

I'm about to start creating Flash interaction that I'd like to run on android tablets. I do not have a tablet.

I know that it is possible to test on a virtual device.

Can all sages members tell me the best way to do it? I would be very grateful for any help.

Keith

Edit: I see there content Simulator. Large.

Your best option would be to get something like this:

http://www.Amazon.com/GP/product/B00TSUGXKE/ref=s9_acss_bw_cg_odsbnc_1a1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX 0DER

It performs well enough to test and should be at least as fast as an emulator. Having a real device, it will be easier to test think like multitouch.

You will notice that it is not in stock until December 27, if you need something sooner $80 heat HD would be a good alternative.

If you do not need to test the multitouch, or $ 50 is too hard to pass, watch the emulators like this:

KKKKK 2 million users of Android and counting

It is possible to use the emulator provided with the Android SDK, but it is difficult to set up and slow to start. But, it would allow you to debug the tests, I don't think that it works with Karl. This works with devices of fire.

  • Test application in the device error

    Hello

I get an error when installing the JAD file in 8100 camera I am getting error 907 COd file invalid, impossible to import the zip file. I do not know wat is reason. Can someone help me?

And I don't have zip files

I signed my application with RIM

I mean, your cod file has sibbling of cod inside. You must check out them.  Simply rename your file of cod in the .zip extension and open it with winzip to extract the sibbling cod. You must also update the jad. Use the UpdateJad tool.  There are many threds explaining the same problem. Check this thread.

  • Test an AIR application on iOS device, without being an Apple Developer.

I know that it is now possible to test an application on a device iOS WITHOUT be paid member of the Apple Developer program.  How do I do that?

The way I've done things before, was to go on my developer account Apple - device UDIDs to type and create the commissioning of profiles and certificates.  I also used TestFlight - but this also requires a paid membership.

    So, what's the new way?

    OK - it worked!

You need XCode 7.  Create a new iOS XCode project.  (A simple display application - regardless)  But the Bundle ID must be the same as your white AIR app ID (the same that in your configuration xml AIR fie .).

Plug in your device, and then run the XCode application on your device.

In XCode, you can consult your commissioning profiles - and display them in the Finder.  You will need one for this application ID.  (I did a copy).

Then - Keychain Access (in the Utilities folder) and find your certificate listed under 'my certificates). Export it as a .p12 file (and give it a password).

Now, you can use the .mobileProvision and .p12 file and the password, to build your AIR application to deploy your device!

    Hello

There is no option to simulate the traditional device. You need hardware for it so I would say to simulate a PXI system that has a configuration similar to the PCI-6014 and make a small change to your request...

  • How do I test an application on multiple devices?

How do I test an application on multiple devices?

    Any information on this?

Once I created the .ipa file I have to do?

Creating the API you could use a configuration profile. If it's a development of a distribution one ad hoc, you choose what devices the IPA is allowed to work on.

So, to make an ad hoc distribution profile that includes all devices on your iPhone Developer account and make the API using this profile. Now, when you did the IPA, you can give it to the people who own these devices.

If they are all your own devices (or the people that you see every day) you could connect each of them to your Mac and use Xcode window Organizer or peripheral (according to the version of Xcode you are using), and then drag the IPA in the list of Applications for the device.

If the devices are owned by other people that you do not get to see, you can either send the IPA to them and that they would use iTunes to get it on their device, or if you can put the IPA online you can send a link to them, and they can install the IPA directly from the web page.

The web server will need to be HTTPS, you cannot use HTTP services from iOS 7.1 is released. To post the IPA online, you can use this utility:

Mac App Store - BetaBuilder for iOS Apps

  • Our RE6500 Extender crashes Netflix on our Android mobile devices. Any ideas?

OK, this is a long, but I want to give as much detail as possible.

Our Linksys Linksys EA6500 router died recently. After do not do more for about 2 years on our last two Linksys routers, I decided to try Netgear. I had good luck with them in the past. I bought a Nighthawk R7000 Netgear wireless router. Most of the time, I'm very happy with our new router. Wired connections are fast and stable. A Wi - Fi connection is fast and stable on a frequency with one exception. I can't get Netflix to work systematically in Wi - Fi on our any of our devices android mobiles. Each device is wired works well and Netflix has no problem. Netflix works great on our iPhones. If we use our Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets S 10.5 to connect, the app will start and, when moving to the library/selection screen, we get the little swirling animated icon for about ten seconds, then the application crashes to the home screen. We have no problem whatsoever if turn us our phones mobile hotspots and communicate with them. We have no problem on other Wi - Fi networks that we have tried to use. The only time that we have this problem is on our home Wi - Fi network, administered by our router Netgear R7000.

I called tech support a few weeks ago, and they accompanied me by running a factory reset on our router, thinking that maybe something did not quite right for our first installation. They walked me through the initial Setup again. Once we did it, bam!, Netflix was back and works well. However, in a few days the same problem began. The Android Netflix app was crashing on our home network. Again, no problems of data mobile and no problem on any other Wi - Fi we checked. The problem was only exposed through our home network. If I had to restore the network and rerun initial Setup, Netflix is going to work very well once again, for a limited time; ranging from a few hours to a few days. Since the installation of our new router, I was not able to do more than three or four days without this problem arising and requiring a factory reset to 'fix '.

Fast forward supports a few days and five hours on the phone with Netgear tech. They were not able to help permenantly resolve my problem. I swapped my router on the same router. Netflix Android app crash all started again things worked fine for two days then this afternoon. I've messed around with things for a few hours and did not have much luck. Finally, I started thinking that what we have on our wireless network, which could have repercussions on it. Our range extender came to mind. We have a Linksys RE6500 AC1200 Range Extender to extend our network without wire on the back of half of our House. We've used since the me moved into our House newly built a year-and-a-half he y a. I started to wonder if that may have an impact. I went to the back and disconnected the Extender and then restarted the R7000 router. I have connected to the wireless network as soon as she came back to the top. BAM! Netflix works like charm. I went to the back and plugged the extension in. Almost immediately, the problem of crashing Netflix app returned to our Android devices. I've disconnected the Extender again and don't mind not even reboot the router this time. Netflix has started working again. I went back like this probably five or six times, just experiences. Every time that I turned off the range extender, Netflix would work on our Android devices. As soon as I would re - turn on the Extender, the crashing behavior would start up. For everything else, regular web surfing, watch YouTube or Hulu, the Extender is very well. He kills just Netflix on our Android mobile devices.

I have no idea what may be the cause, but it begins to look like it has absolutely nothing to do with our router Netgear R7000, at least the router itself. The funny thing is, I know that a few weeks ago, when we got the new router, the range extender did not cause a problem like this and seems to work perfectly. I think that there is nothing inherently wrong with the extension either. I suspect that there is some problem of incompatibility between the two devices is the cause.

I'll keep experimenting. I'm going to perform a factory reset on our RE6500 and approach through the initial Setup again this weekend; Get everything back to the basic condition, out-of-the-box and see how things work.

In the meantime, no matter who never experienced anything like this before? Any ideas?

Actually, no, we've never experienced any topics negatives that the Netflix app crashing on our Android mobile devices. Other than that, our wi - fi was fast and stable. You try to use the 2.4 GHz or the 5 GHz network? 5 GHz has potentially higher speeds, but breaks more quickly through the walls, etc..

You have a decent wi - fi signal where you placed your extender? I know you're eager to extend to another location, but you must have at least a decent signal where you place your router or you pick anything to extend. Use spot finder technology in the extender configuration to determine the appropriate power of the signal for the placement of the Extender.

Here is a link to the thread that I found helped me.

You can send chadster766 a message private with the object of the request for Firmware beta RE6500 and attached the following

    Name and first name

    Address: (Ex: State\Prov, country)

Email address to send to beta tester agreement

Then he'll send you Beta testers agreement for signing. Once he gets the copy signed, will provide you with download instructions.

  • Is the signature required when you deploy the client application in the device?

    Hello

I am trying to build my own version of the sample application client push. I have two questions:

-First of all, is there a way to test shoot BIS Simulator, workaround, maybe?

-Second, is it necessary to sign API classes used in the sample client application before loading it into the unit? The sample application works fine on the camera, but a version that has a very slight modification does not work, does not even start. Could it be linked with code signing?

    Thanks in advance,

    Burak

You can't actually test pushes BIS with the Simulator. You can test your application without feature push using the Simulator.

Yes, you will need to sign the application unless your device is "unlocked."

  • Problem installation file test on Android Tablet

I'm having difficulty to visualize a folio on a Nexus 7 tablet. I created a .apk file and installed on the device. When I run the application splash screen appears, but then just a gray screen follows. A few details:

    • When I created the .apk I double fact that the ID of the application/product was the same in the Folio producer and what I entered in the App generator. (I had a similar problem when I was testing on the iPad. The product ID of dual control solved the problem.)
    • The device has wireless access.
    • I use InDesign CS6 and the last set of desktop tools.
    • I use the latest version of the App Builder (2.4.0) DPS.
    • I tried specifying the version of the viewer 23 and 24. None worked.
    • I tried specifying a strict interpretation for Android 7 "devices. He has not made a difference.
    • I use an ID from Adobe that is unique to this Android folio Builder. I used this ID ID title.
    • The folio was published in private and free.
    • The folio downloads and works as expected when viewing through the content viewer application.

    Thank you.

For the folio to appear in your application, you must publish in the form of 'Public', so publish as 'Public' and 'free '.

  • Of the alternatives to the Simulator: test applications on the phone

I'm an amateur who has developed applications of office before. I want to develop applications for my phone BB10. My Dell Dimension E521 (old), however, does not support virtualization and the BB Simulator is ultra slow. I can't use it to test my code. So, my questions are: (1) is there another way I can try my code, in addition to performing on my phone? and (2) if the answer is no, I risk screwing up my phone by using it to test my code, if it turns out that buggy or full of errors (I'm a newbie, after all :-)

There is no options beyond what you have listed here.  The risks of tests on your actual device are quite low.  The applications are sandboxed, they cannot really affect other applications.  But you might cause problems if your code does something bad, delete pictures from the camera Director or delete all your contacts.

  • BlackBerry smartphone to test applications

    Hello

The members of the forum can advise on how to test applications on real hardware. I just bought a 'sim free' Pearl 9105 from amazon. But I paid no attention... it's actually from a 3rd party vendor, and they sent a device unlocked with logo orange etc. He has problems with the WiFi, no app store App etc. I also had a wait upgraded to OS 6. It did not work on after spending much time after the methods advised, I gave up. As it is not provided, as announced, I return it. But only just read the return policy and it is not favorable. My mistake I might, if it was directly from Amazon, which would have been more just.

Which leaves me a strange feeling. What are the developers officially supposed to do? Rather than being messed around, is there a standard way to get a feature of development that are available with the version of required operating system etc. ready to go. I hate wasting time with all this and would rather be sitting here software test and writing and above all contributing to the platform. In any case, perhaps with feedback from other developers it will all become clear.

I actually look for os 6 upgrade would be a piece of cake and solve all these problems, but it now seems more that I joined the pirates rather than BONE fide developers, and this isn't what I want to do :-)

    Help, please
