  Uninstall the current version of LR, you have it installed, download LR 4.4.1 installer and install it. I don't know what causes your problem with the update, but that a full installer for 4.4.1 can operate without any problems.

  I tried to do a system restore on my laptop using the included recovery disks and had this error 0x400110020000100B. The drive looked pretty beaten last week so I ordered a new series. Now, when I got to put disc 2 in (to 80% full) I get the same error.  I called customer service and he took me through the process of F9, nothing works and I also tried the F11 approach that made me not the case.  I'm frustrated because I don't really have the money for a new laptop computer.

  See if you can make your own Vista installation disc if you can read the product key 25 character on the bottom of your laptop.

  Here's how:

  If you are in a fault light but rewarding you can do yourself if you can read your product key of Vista on the PC of 25 characters.

  You just download the 3 files you need on the link below and read all the instructions to create a Setup bootable DVD disk using imageburn.

  Do not take into account the part of the text in the first screen shot about "extract the files in the folder of Vista."

  The files were extracted already in this folder when you ran the X14.exe file by reading the text on top of the first screenshot.

  The other thing I noticed is on the 4th page, where it shows Developer ID Microsoft Corporation. I had to type Microsoft Corporation in me, and then other codes already filled in.

  When I went to compile the ISO file, ImageBurn gave a message on a WIM file, file and ISO, and if I wanted to burn it in a different format.

  I selected no, make the ISO file.

  It was not so hard to do. I burned both the disk of 64-bit and 32-bit disk in case I ever need them.

  Found the answer! I had to upgrade the built-in server to use compatibility mode in IE9. Worked fine in Chrome, so it was not the firewall or network configuration.

  Running Windows 7 Home Premium. I meet a "error-6147, 0 is not a Quickbooks data file or there is a problem with the file" when you try to open a company file hosted on a 32-bit Vista computer. This only happens if the company file is open about hosting computrt. If the Windows 7-based computer opens the file of company first of all, there is no error... and then the host computer can open the file without problem. Hoping someone here has an idea...   Thanks for posting on the Community Forums of Microsoft Vista.

  I recommend to create a system manually, Restore Point so that in this case, a problem occurs when performing these steps, you can always perform a system restore.

  Try to create a new user profile and try to install Windows update and check if the update works fine.

  Create a new user

  1. click on start, type Control userpasswords in the start search box, and then click Control userpasswords in the list programs.

  2. click on manage another account.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

  3. click on create a new account.

  4. in the new account name box, type a name of single-byte characters, click Administrator, and then click on create an account.

  5. click on the user account that you created in step 4.

  6. click on create a password.

  7. in the new password box, type a password, retype the password in the area confirm the new password, type an indication of password in the Type a password hint box, and then click on create password.

  Once you have a new user accounts check if you can install updates.

  I tried to install Windows XP 64-bit and Windows XP 32 bit without success. I get to the point where "starting Windows", then download the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD).

  Someone has lowered successfully one of them or another of the new i3/i5/i7 machines for Windows XP?

  I recently bought a computer with Windows 7 64 bit home edition for my father. His job requires him to use a digital voice recorder to dictate things and send by e-mail to his company in the .dss format. He is currently using a recorder Olympus DS 330 on its old Windows XP machine. I called Olympus to ensure (an Olympus DS-330 recorder voice digital) device would be compatible with Windows 7 BEFORE buying the new computer for him. They assured me that "with version 7.1 of their new software it should be compatible. I was worried because the rep on the phone with me does not seem very confident in her answer and him using the word "should" is never a good thing.

  Sure enough I got the new Windows 7 computer running, installed the software, they told me to get their site, connected his player... The device has been recognized as connected BUT no driver could be found. Nothing I've tried the last hours won't work because there is simply no driver of Olympus or someone else to make this device work with Windows 7. To make matters worse I can't find a single digital voice recorder to buy for him online that IS compatible with Windows 7 Home Edition 64-bit.

  I thought that this OS was not suppose to have questions 'pilot' that brought the Vista. Clearly, this isn't the case. Now I'm stuck with a computer of my father can not use everything just because Windows 7 can't find enough important digital voice recorders work with.   The compatible ID confirms that it is not only a storage device, so it uses just the drivers supplied with Windows.  If this isn't a problem with Windows 7.  This is a problem in which the hardware vendor must be resolved.

  I searched online for the VID & PID and found only a few strokes on Bing.  None of them make no mention of 64-bit support.  And they are all pretty old.  I see dates pilot since 2001.

  So the best option is to contact Olympus again to see if they have drivers for Vista 64 bit or Windows 7 64 - bit for this device, or to confirm to you what devices ARE supported on 64-bit.

  Looks like the above driver package for their recorders VN series.  It seems to be relatively cheap - http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/product.asp?product=1389&fl=5&acccategory=84 (the VN5200 is still cheaper).

  When you specify SGA_TARGET, automatic shared memory management is enabled and there is therefore no need SHARED_POOL_SIZE parameter. It will be managed automatically.

  PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET, you can size it using V$ PGA_TARGET_ADVICE.

• HPE-150 t: new second HD HPE-150 t

  I tried to add a second HD to my hpe-150 t, but the reader does not appear during the boot menu setup or windows.

  To test the SATA and I went then to the hand of power HD cables and it still works so I do not think it is a cable problem.

  The disc was just bought from Amazn a black WD1003FZEX SATA III disc. My computer is a few years old and has a SATA II 3Gbs but told me this isn't a problem.

  Is there another way to test the drive? I don't have another pc.

  The new WD drive is probably AF (Advanced Format). Your system must have SP1 to use such a unit. Now, it's been downloaded through updates.

  Prepare the new hard drive

  Press the button START

  Open the control panel (you must be in Classic view).

  Open administrative tools

  Click to open computer management.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  In the left pane, under storage, click Disk Management.

  Your boot drive will display a Disk0.    Stay away from that.   If you are not clear on this point, STOP and get out.

  The added disk should appear as Disk1.

  Click on a region unallocated on Disk1 and then click New Simple Volume.

  In the new Volume Simple Wizard, click Next.

  Type the size of the volume you want to create in megabytes (MB) or accept the maximum size by default, and then click Next.

  Accept the default drive letter or choose a different drive letter to identify the partition, and then click Next.

  In the Formater Partition dialog box, do one of the following:

  If you don't want to format the volume right now, click on do not format this volume and then click Next.

  To format the volume with the default settings, click Next.

  Review your choices and then click Finish.

  Smart printing but also has problems with this page, not being able to print a part of the text below the second table.

  With some difficulty, you can select all the text, but it prints up on 'Session 9' and leaves two pages empty.

  While I recognize that this Web page is built quite strangely (absolute positioning of points throughout the page), I think it may be a good test for the team Smart Printing scenario.

  In case it's relevant: Smart Print v2.6, IE 11, W7x64.

  I understand that you have this page as a test case, and I appreciated that!  I wonder if you have tried to use Google Chrome HP Smart printing on this page?  Technically, HP Smart printing is compatible only with IE 9 and 10 and Google Chrome - chrome is the browser for the support in the future (at least this is what I've heard).  I was wondering if you get better results using Chrome.  Just a thought.
