  Hello

  I am looking for help please, as a new to Captivate user!

  I am trying to apply text animation and the box in my menu drop-down is dimmed.  I can see 'text caption' and 'text area', but not 'text animation.  I also see the files in the gallery where the Captivate is downloaded.

  I lifted the previous questions and tried to put all the text on one line and highlighting.

  If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

  Text animations are focused on the SWF, not supported for HTML pages. In a reactive

  I applied a 3D text animation preset to one of my text layers. But I'm not sure how to delete. There is no other option when I right click, or in animation taking place on the top menu. I would like to know this, just in case I have apply animations to different layers and that you want to remove an animation from a single layer and not the other. In this way, undo wouldn't.

  See how I have 1 host has highlighted? Do that and then press the keyboard delete key or the back button back.

• trace of predefined text animation

  What I am doing wrong? I want to apply an animation of type preset text path. I type in the text, in this case the word "whatever", select it in the timeline panel and then set up the trace of predefined text animation "PIPES" and drag it on the word or the layer in the timeline panel. "PIPES" and its path will appear, however they erase the word "whatever." It wont let me change the 'PIPES' place holder text with my word and even when I press play, the word "PIPES" is just there like the compostion plays and that it does not animate along its path. Any ideas?

• Text animations works not after after affects the update

  I had CC2015 AE already and have been using fine.  Yesterday all my apps have been updated and now when I apply a predefined text animation, the path of test is is more honored.  The text, in some cases, move, but does not follow the path.  He puts on the scale and kerns.  Does anyone else have this problem?

  FWIW, I just got the phone with Adobe and they said this is definitely a bug in the latest version.  I roll back a version

  In adobe Muse. The text animation widget (11.3) does not allow for the field "enter the text you want to animate. Instead it allows to "paragraph style animate" only. Please advise on the work.

• HTML5, text animation, swf object does not.  Know when it's available? (updated)

  I thought that captivate 7 includes many options for HTML5, most of the animation does not. text animation, swf. I'm really disappointed.

  Are you French? I tried to explain that Flash, SWF is not supported for HTML5 because he will be banned from all devices (except PC desktop and laptop). Text animations are also SWF.   Have had no luck importing animation using the Insert > Animation option. Even if they are .swf files in the Gallery, they cannot be imported.

  As Anthony, responsive projects are out of HTML5, which means that you cannot use a SWF inside. Everything is grayed out for reactive projects is not available for them: all the objects that are indicated by the tracker, Ray, free polygon and custom shape, D & D HTML form. This has nothing to do with being on Mac/Win, why Mac users feel more often discriminated I don't quite understand. Take a look at the help documentation, where you can find everything that is not supported (yet) for projects of a reactive nature. If you want an animation, you can use an effect (those who are supported, they are listed in the effects Panel) or create an animation HMTL/Edge and insert.

• Insert text animation suddenly does not work in 5.5

  I inserted a text animation on my blade, and it worked fine. So I decided that I didn't want, so I removed it. Now I can't insert an animation of text on a slide at all. I click the text Animation button and nothing happens. I try Insert--> text Animation and nothing happens. Any thoughts?

  Hi, I used this nice tutorial to animate text typed, but it does not show how the randomness of sond and schedule is defined as here , and I like the way the rendering of the letters is a bit delayed and slider also! Anyone know how it is setup? I've not found anything matching properties.

  Try to use the predefined animation of text processing. You'll find it under preset animations > text > MultiLIne.

  Just add an extra character at the end of your text. It doesn't matter what it is. Then press UU to reveal all the animators. Go the last keyframe to Type on and adjust the cursor Type to a value that is less than the total number of characters in your text string. You can watch it happen.

  That's all. Just make sure that you use a font that has underscore. You can set the symbol that you use for the slider to set the value of character in text animations. is 127 the | and 95 is the _____

  This is a very common effect and many ways to do this are found by simply doing a search on Google for the cursor blinking on After Effects.

  I would like to put a cursor in a text animation and I join the cursor to be a square as opposed to the standard line. How can I do this?

  Rhys Enniks provides a video tutorial on his website in which he uses expressions and multiple text animators and selectors of beach to animate text as if it is typed on a computer screen, with a blocky blinking cursor.

  This example is given using After Effects, here, incidentally.

  Select the text layer.  Press u to reveal all the keyframes.  Move keyframes.

  It is probably possible if you use Adobe Flash to create Animation of text.

  Have you looked at Prismflow animations and psychedelic? These are multiple colors.

• problem with built-in predefined text animations

  I just started my first job with AE.
  I want to do a very simple thing: animate text (to be precise, only 3 short words) with one of the excellent effect built in, which was delivered with the product.

  But I realized, that the end result of the effect, that I chose in the list, is different from that how I saw on the site Adobe Gallery.
  Then I tried other effects too (Flash, Flash blue) and with the AE is not the same, I'd say it's on another comprehensive plan.
  For example, text Pulse exposure effect appears to be a very complex thing on the site, while at AE makes only fade in and out of my text: no outline around the letters. characters also do not in growth and shrinkage, so it lacks almost all the fancy functions, that how the effect shows on the Web site.

  I just tried exposure pulse, and it works very well for me.

  It is possible that the problem you see is related to this tip/warning of "text animation presets", the page I linked to before:

  "If the animation preset requires a color contour or background, animated works only if you have assigned to your text."

  Pulse exposure works by animating the race.
