Text converted to lines do not print

I have an AICS3 document with text. The police is a little funny, but it worked. It shows in my document, but it will not be printed. I have fills of lines, it appears in my document, but it still does not print. I have placer place in an ID file, export it in PDF format. The text is displayed in the ID, but do not print. It appears so when I open the PDF file in Acrobat Reader, but not in Acrobat. In both cases, the text (which has been long converted vectorised text) does not print. Can anyone help? Given that the text has been converted with vectorized text isn't just a bunch of transparent traces? I even changed the filling with no luck. In general, I'm very tired of the way that we users are treated as criminals when it comes to fonts - without worrying if it is the problem here. I mean, what good is a font if you are unable to print it? Anyway, I digress. Any ideas anyone? I really want to do this thing printed.

Thank you

Is - this possibly white text that has the "overprint fill" checked in the attributes Panel?

  • How to make text in 'Tool box' does not print

Hello, I am using Adobe Acrobat X Pro, and I put a box of text on a sheet using tools > content > add or change a text box. Even if I select 'Document' rather than 'Document and annotations' under the comments & forms on the print page, the text box always appears in the section print preview and print the text box.

I was wondering if I could get some opinions on how to ensure that the text in the text box will not print. Thanks in advance.

It is not possible. If you want that it not print then you must use

the feedback tool add text or a text field.

  • ID CS4 - text on a path does not print

    Hello experts,

I'm nervous of preparation very big book for printing (Bible, 1300 + pages, very complicated layout). Everything was done in ID CS2 and several reprints have been OK - now I jumped to CS4 converted the book and that's problem is here. Text placed on the upper edge of the frame (through type on a path tool) disappears in PDF (snapshot included) resulting. However, the text in the frame itself is OK. Problem is that the path is a part of the textflow, so it cannot be easily replaced. It was absolutely impossible (for me) to force the ID to print the pages correctly (print or export worked). I reinstalled everything suite CS4 - and now about 75% of cases are OK the rest once again not. (before reinstalling nothing of the text was OK...)

I can't change the layout or positioning of executives because ID will begin to recompose the text (works by this composer CS4 sometimes differently compared to CS2 ) is very risky because of the necessary additional proofreading. I can't yet go back to CS2 document - tried by INX double conversion - failed - text mentioned above is still invisible. And the original document from CS2 cannot be used because of the hundreds of corrections for new edition that all of them were made in CS4. So now what to do - I would really appreciate help from experts.

Very well. I got the file and looked it over. Here are my findings:

There seems to be an obscure bug in InDesign.

    Here's what happens:

Vlad sent me a 178 page document. Most of the text flow between

single and multiple blocks of text column, with under section headers

text on the path of several blocks of text column beneath them. The

first of all, 89 pages exported correctly. All pages from the 90th

page exported without text on the path.

    (1) it does not appear that corruption of the text boxes. I created

new images with text on path and text exported still hurt.

    (2) it doesn't have to do with the length of history. I have

divide history in the Middle, and the same text was still missing on

    Export

    (3) export (text marked, etc.) Changing settings do not seem to

    have an effect.

    (4) the export of parts did not help.

    (4) after the split of the text, I removed all pages before the

problematic page and the missing text was all there on the export.

I conclude that this is a bug involving

    (a) text on a path

    (b) that belongs to the text Threading

    (c) on page 90 and on.

If anyone is interested in building a new doc to confirm this; be my

    Comments!

I see two ways to solve the problem.

    (1) divide the documents all less than 90 pages.

    (2) cut the text of the text on the path and paste it into the new text frames

(while removing the paths of the Threading).

Since there are a lot of Mid-page overlap heads; If you were building

This from scratch, I would recommend using column flow here: http://www.in-tools.com/plugin.php?p=4

  • HP Officejet 8040: White line, do not print, vertically when printing from HP Officejet 8040 all in one.

The white line appears when I print. This has nothing to do with the scan or copy.

It's about everything that I print and sound always vertical and in the same place.  The Interior of the 8040 seems pretty locked. Not much to go and see what it could be at this place in the printer. I ran the vacuum cleaner at least 5 times and the alignment of 3 times. Help, please.

The problem you see may be caused by a spot on the MICR band.  You can clean the Strip as shown in the here document coding.  Be aware that the coding Strip is fragile and there are fine lines, printed on the Strip that are essential to the proper functioning of the printer.  Be very gently when cleaning of the band, if you're too vigirous band (and printer) will be damaged.

Ok thank you. Try the print head alignment. Here's how:

    1. Remove the cartridges from the printer.
  • DO NOT PRINT THE GRID LINES

Tried to print an empty grid of 9 Suduku.   I have the test to white in DOC format in my computer.  All lines of border and large square line 9 print but the grid that make up 81 small blocks of lines do not print.  The lines that print appear as black in the display of files and preview.  The lines of the line are 81 small blocks appear more gray in my print file and preview before printing.  Printed white perfectly before I updated my printer driver and software.  I did not any changes to my file.   I have a printer HP 4260 and Windows 7.  Would appreciate any help on this.

    Jamison,

After reading your comments again, I got some question weather I tried actually printing in grayscale.

I followed the instructions from HP to do.  One would believe you, I had a good impression.  Not sure what happened at the facility in grayscale I have to had used before, but in some way it changed.  But he's back and I'm back in business.

    Thanks again for your suggestions.

  • Printing stops in the middle of a HP Deskjet F4435 print job. It does not print.

Paper hangs just printed out at halfway.

I uninstalled and reinstalled my printer.  The test page prints fine. I ran the resolution of problems and he found nothing wrong. What is the book that I use? It's generic printer paper.

pcheney, Outlook normally puts email in an HTML file that is a file type difficult to send directly to your printer without stripping it down to a text file, which Outlook is not printing normally.

As a work around you can either copy the text to another program (such as MS Word or Notepad) and print from there, or you can forward emails to another customer who is easier to print (like gmail or yahoo mail).

Let me know how it works for you!

  • Photosmart C6380 not printing black plus text

I use this printer for years. I used it with Windows XP, 7 and 8 now. Printing was perfect during all this time. Now today all of a sudden without modification in the BONES, programs, settings or anything else, it stopped printing black text.

I replaced the cart of black text and was re - align, clean and diagnostic print test page. Re-align has failed on the first attempt. Attempt of Secone he succeeded. Diag page prints well except that it is a little faded in appearance. Test page prints one line of somewhat large black text. But this line is cut in the middle with only half superior letters and the lower half is cut. It does not print anything else that chopped off line on the test page.

No idea what is happening and what I can do about it?

    Thank you

    Dave

    Hey,.

It seems that your printer has a bit of ink clogging some ports.  I recommend the option for your printer running print head cleaning.

Run the automatic utility to clean the print head

  • OfficeJet 6500 intermittently does not print half of the last line in the lower doc

Using an Officejet 6500 E709a connected to Windows 7 64-bit PC via ethernet LAN.  Intermittently, the printer is unable to print a part of the last line of the document.  A 12 point font for example it does not print the bottom half of the letters on the last line of text.  What software (word, excel, PDF, etc.) and it does not matter hwer on the page of the last line falls.  It occurs only on the last page of multipage documents.

Try that and see if it helps the question:

    1. In the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon ( ), type control printers in the Search text box and press ENTER. The Printers window opens.

  • HP Officejet Pro L7590 all-in: HP officejet Pro L7590 prints 1/2 of the line of text on several lines of the document

I received an email for the diagnosis of the printer and I was prompted to install the updated drivers and I did it and now when I print the test page, I get several lines of text that displays only the top or the bottom 1/2 letters across the page, I printed a self-test diagnostic Page and printed everything in pink , but it does not print 1/2 letters across the page as a test page, then I printed a page of print quality and it did the same as the test page and it does the same thing as the test page, then I tried calibrate spacing of thought which may fix the problem but does not , what can I do?

  • Dotted lines do not meet the size on the print

Hi, I have a big problem with my design and the dotted lines with inDesign, maybe one of you can help me ^_^

I have a lot of dotted lines in my design and in the inDesign I see perfect, they fit perfectly with the margins. But when I print the document that the dotted lines do not correspond, I send you an example, the continuous line have the same width as the dotted line.

    image1.jpg

    Thank you very much

Did you also use step and repeat for the duplicate lines or draw each individually? You must be the step and repeat for consistency.

That said, I think that a better way to handle this would be to use notes on withdrawal right tabs. Use a block of text and set the text leading to the spacing that you want (or set up a reference with this spacing grid and set the paragraph style to align with the grid). Press SHIFT + Tab to create the first withdrawal right tab, then Enter and Shift + Tab for each additional line. Create a character Style with a dash of personalized using your style dotted underline and apply it to the tabs.

  • Convert text box type line?

Is there a way to "convert" a line of text, created by just clicking on the text tool and typing, in a block of text quickly? Copy and paste the text into a new, draw on the text box?

Right-click on the text layer and select Convert to paragraph text (not right + click on the thumbnail it will give you a different menu)

  • Dynamic text will not print - Ahhhh! Help!

I import a png using an XML file and a text file for the import of text. The image and the text appear fine, but when I PRINT, the two do not arise. I HAVE'VE GOT TO GO LIVE WITH THAT TODAY. It should print! Help, please!

I found my own answer and thought I should share it with you all. Since I am very surprised that you will use ActionScript to tell the film to allow dynamic text or a dynamic png of files to print. Basically, you add the following lines to each instance of the text dyanmica or a clip. I was alos using a pre-constructed component, so I had to abandon this component an instance name.

    function printpic() {}
    print (this.pic, "bframe");
    }

I called the printpic function just to stay in alignment with the name of the movie clip instance on the stage who was peak.

Then, all printed as if it was supposed to.

  • FF4 print format PDF (Acro Pro) makes the text as image (FF3 do not have)

When I create a PDF file with Acro Pro text using FF4 is rendered as an image. FF3 doesn't have this (another rendering browsers text text as well). Win 7 Pro 64 bit, FF 4.0

It seems to go away when you disable hardware acceleration: Tools-> Options-> advanced-> general-> browsing, uncheck the "use hardware acceleration when available. Then restart Firefox.

Looks like a bug to me. Hardware acceleration should affect screen, not print not... and if it produces effects of impression, it should not impact it this way.
