  Text is a characteristic of carrier, ask your cell phone provider which is the fix.

  I send text messages with the Messages app on my iPhone.  I've never had a problem until recently.

  Recently, all of my text messages are marked by a red error message "not delivered".  But the beneficiary is in fact receive these messages.

  Looks like you are having some incorrect Messages notifications appear on your sent messages. Not too sure if recent changes have something to do with it, but I would check your message settings to check everything is in order, it. You can also take a look at the link below. Even if your messages are sent, you can always follow the steps then the message "not delivered" can be resolved. • Restore backup text messages?

  I was buy storage additional iCloud for my iphone.  It has supposedly been backup in the iCloud regularly, most recently yesterday morning (according to the info on the phone).  I've never had a need to access the backup, but yesterday afternoon, I inadvertently deleted a thread of text message I intended to keep it.  I was relieved to discover, ater googling how to restore deleted texts on an iPhone, that my text messages are allegedly saved automatically through this backup regular iCloud and I should be able to restore it.  However, when signing my account iCloud (to www.icloud.com), it's not even click on an icon of 'Message '.  To add to my confusion, when I click on the "Photo" icon, it is said that my iCloud photo library is empty. By clicking on "Mail" and "Contacts", there is some information at this location, but it's clearly not current. What I am doing wrong?  Where is the information?  Supposedly I use a a little more than 9 GB on the 50 GB I have (according to the 'storage' graphic bar, but it doesn't seem to be there.)  Thank you-

  I recently updated my iPhone 5 16 GB iOS 9.3.1. It resulted in all messages of text being removed from the Messages app.

  The phone was low on space so I thought that the problem could be due to a lack of space.

  I also noticed that all the new text messages are deleted after a few hours.

  I've now updated my phone to an iPhone SE 64 GB (which is also iOS 9.3.1).

  However, all new text messages I get are always deleted after a few hours.

  Also incoming messages creates all notifications even if the parameters see be OK

  When upgrading to the new I restored a backup of the previous phone to iCloud

  I checked the message parameters and 'Keep the Messages' is set to 'Forever '.

  If this has been resolved? I have the same problem too. Just upgraded my wife 5 to 9.3.1 iOS iPhone (16GB) and all the old text messages have been deleted and new create notifications and deleted. All settings have been properly verified. I have hard to started, several times without a bit of luck. This is absolutely unacceptable.

  I pass a device of a "BOLD" with the OS 7.1 to a classic. I can't restore the old device text messages during the switch. I tried 2 ways:

  1 SD card backup and restore. According to the app, text messages are saved and then onto the new device restored, however when I open the SMS on the new device, it says 'No entrΘes in this point of view' and I can't find any of my text messages.

  2 blackberry link. Backup and restore gently, and the application lists the messages MMS and SMS as being transferred. However, once opening text Messages after restoring to the device again, nothing.

  Can someone enlighten me on this?

  Text messages are now in place.

  I did my "BOLD" gradually, moving from the export/import. I wanted a solution to the problem of text message, I waited a few days before actually making the final switch. I decided to go anyway and put in my new SIM card in the classic. After that, when I looked around I found that text messages are there in my classic.

  So either the card SIM must be set up for the text messages to appear (b n - This was a new SIM card, not the old SIM used on the "BOLD"), or it was just a matter of time (I read somewhere in the documentation that it can take a while before all data transferred is visible on the new device no reason given as to why).

  So, if you run into this issue:

  1. Add the SIM card to the new device

  and/or

  2. wait

  Worked for me.

  Oh and save the former such device until things are developed. If nothing else, you can do some sort of manual backup of important text messages, such as taking pictures.

  I just realized the suggested 10.2 OS update on my Blackberry Q5 and now when I go into my hub, it has still all my messages, but text messages are in numbers against them and no names, even if the numbers are saved in my address book.  All emails and all the rest is the display as usual.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Problem has resolved itself!  I tried to restart again and that did nothing, and I tried to go to contacts, who had done nothing.  However, I went into SMS specifically rather than just the hub and which seemed to force it to download contacts, so after thinking for a while, he did this.  Then, when I returned on the hub, they carried through fine.

  Text messages are managed by your carrier. I can only suggest to use a client of sms 3rd party like SMSCrunch. Maybe, that can give you the time, it was sent or received.

  You can also ask your carrier for the same information and whether they can send it to you (some of my friends who make heavy texting, have asked their carriers send delivery times with their bills.)
