• PS CS5 Extended text questions

  I've never had problems before, but I'm trying to add text to an image and it will not appear. It appears on the layers panel, but nothing is visible on the pallet. I have read several other questions about it, but have found no solution.

  It isn't all the following questions:

  • Font color is contrasting
  • Font size is big enough
  • The police's standard and compatible
  • Text layer is on top (I tried with no other layers)
  • Text box is large enough
  • I tried to reset the text as well as the character tool
  • I'm not using the indexing tool to add text

  I have no idea what this issue is, but if someone could help me it would be appreciated!

  If, with the text layer, you chose Edit > transform > scale and it bordered region invisible type, it may be time to reset preferences, (by the way, in the Panel layers, RGB shows the type?)

  Quick question: how to display the text in a TLFTextfield exactly like apearing in TextEdit?

  Is your sense of writing on from right to left? In the Flash CS5 user interface, you open the Properties palette menu and select 'Options to see the right-left' at the bottom of the paragraph section, you can set Direction to right to left.

  is it not possible to have the text selectable active when you make a link or a button?

  If you want the text portion of the link/button to function as a link/button, then you do not want the lit textfield's selectable property.

• Newbie on conditional text question

  Hello:

  I'm happy to have my first opportunity to use conditional text, but I have some questions before you begin to implement. I read the online help and reviewed my old copy of Classroom in a Book , and I feel good. With the help of a test file, I created my conditional tags, applied and experimented with show/hide tags.

  My question is about the final look of the tagged text: it remains in that color or it revert to automatic (black) color. In other words, I have tagged my magenta conditional text. When I show conditional text, it's magenta. What should I do so that when I print to PDF, the tagged text is black instead?

  I'm sure it's something simple, but I can't seem to find the answer myself. As a junior writer, I get so much information just by reading all the questions and answers on this forum.

  I am currently using v8.0p277 on Windows XP.

  You are right. It's simple. In the dialog where you define what to show and what to hide, there is a box to check something like show condition indicators. When you select this, the indicators (in other words, the colors and less or overlining) show. Turn it off, and they do not. The text displays and prints as if no conditions had been applied.

• Newbie on the extension of text question

  Hello

  I use Dreamweaver CS3 and I am trying to create a page of frequently asked Questions. I keep a list of questions that a visitor can click on, each expansion to reveal the answer (as many FAQ pages already do.)

  What is the best way to achieve this? I tried a few samples of Spry, but they look like a terrible mess, and I know there must be a simpler way. Read around, people seem to be in contact with the concept of "to enlarge the text", but not really explain. I guess that's because it is so fundamental that I should already know how to do.

  I'm self-taught (but willing to learn) - could someone ' a please point me in the right direction?

  backgroundColor is a style property with that you define
  myBox.setStyle ("backgroundColor", 0xff0000);

  When you look at the docs, don't forget to click on the "Show inherited styles" link to see all the component styles is supported, including those defined in the superclass.

• Text questions

  Kind of a strange here.

  In my program, I have a pop-up dialog box that asks you a work order number and you can scan using a barcode reader or type it in and then the program stops and turns a Boolean true process station.  This part works as expected.

  The problem is that if I type in the text (but not press enter) and press the cancel button the Boolean value will still true.  But if I turn on highlighting the program works very well.  The reason why I want to make is that if an operator start typing in a work order and decides then to hit the button cancel the Boolean false will so I do not deal with the station.

  I think it has to do with LabVIEW, treatment of the text box before the Cancel button.  But the Cancel button had to be pushed back to start addressing the text.  But with the schema highlighted, she must do different things than the regular execution.  So I don't know how to get around this problem.

  I tried several different ways and even with the event structures, but could not get the value Boolean false if there is text in the box when I press cancel.

• Anchor text question

  I am importing graph rooted in my InDesign document, but I can't seem to make the line of the top of my text hover over host the graph. Everything below the insertion point to grave in place, but refuses it high-end to move on any envelope text instructions that I put in. What I am doing wrong?

  Probably nothing.

  Text on anchored objects wrapping is not intuitive and not necessarily compatible with what you want to do. For inline and above line anchored objects skin affects all the text after the anchor point. For custom positioned anchored objects affects only lines after the line containing the anchor point.

  You may need to move the anchor point upward one paragraph, but this is a problem at the top of a page.

  However, simply using entry for a new line in the input box produces unexpected results:

  

  Curiously, the symbol of the copy and paste elsewhere show that it is a new line character, it is simply not recognized by Photoshop.

  By setting wantReturn to false and adding a keypress eventListener:

  I am able to get a new line correct, although each press of Enter brings the cursor at the beginning entry field, forcing the user to manually move the cursor at the end before you can continue typing. This too (of course, I guess) puts a visible "\n" in the input field.

  Is there a solution that, at least, can prevent the cursor jumps at the beginning whenever you press Enter? Ideally the end user would not see "\n" in the input field at all, but rather a new visible line in the input field which translates a new visible line in the text layer.

  I'm under CS6 on OSX but will mainly use the script from Windows, also CS6.

• Photoshop text questions

  Hello!

  I'm using Photoshop CS5 test; I got it mainly for the text and be able to write on the layers, etc. To my great disappointment, I went to type something in the Arial font, white (unlike the black layer behind him) and nothing appeared. I tried to solve this problem in several ways. Ensuring that I have 72 pixels per inch, resolution 1270 x 720, and everything was centered. In the sidebar on the right, it shows the text I typed, but on the current screen, I wanted it to appear, nothing is there. I tried to reset the preferences (Alt + Ctrl + Shift at the same time I click on the icon of the PS), reset the text and all the tools, uninstall and reinstall and still no text appears. I even downloaded the demo of Photoshop CS6 instead to see if it would be different and still nothing. I'm disappointed to see this happen as none of this happened to everyone I know. If it helps, I'm on a PC. Any help is appreciated, because it seems that nothing is not working so far, lol. Thank you!

• Google Voice / text question

  I just installed Google Voice on my Droid. Right after I tried to send a text message. He asked me what program by default, I wanted to use for the text. I chose 'use this setting for all texts' and then clicked Google Voice instead of text messaging. Now, I send you all my texts through my GV number! How can I reset this option or change back to my own phone?

  You go to settings > Applications > manage Applications > scroll to Google Voice and select > choose "Default is clear".

• Put page fixed ePub export text questions.

  Hello, I am new to the layout fixed ePub. When I export my project, I get something like this:

  

  Changes in font size, I looked for troubleshooting, but nothing so far.

  When I export to pdf or epub reflow, the text looks fine, however, on my project, I need to be a fixed provision.

  Hey there, Ellis, thank you for your response, however, it wasn't the problem. I have ADE 4.0.

  The real problem was that my indesign has not been updated, it has exported perfectly after the update. Hope this helps anyone who has the same issue.

• Photoshop elements 13 text questions

  Text is incoherent and not true to size of number.

  Entering text in a series of photos, any single font size is not the same when written on each photo.  For example on a size 18 photo looks like text size 4, on another size 18 looks like 18 and another looks like 72.

  This behavior is related to the resolution of the photo files.

  Open your photo files and go to Image > resize > Image size. You can read the resolution in px / in. I suspect that the resolution varies between your set of photos.

• Mavericks Dreamweaver CC deletion text question...

  I've just updated to the Mavericks and Dreamweaver installed CC.  If I hightlight code in the code window and then switch to another tab in Dreamweaver or switch to another program (for example Safari), the text that I had highlighted the deletions.  I can align the text by select Cancel, but it is a very annoying problem.  Does anyone else know this?
