  Hello

  I produce reports for clients in Microsoft Word using a Windows PC, and they include texts and photographs. Before sending it to the client, I print to Adobe PDF in Word.

  When you look at the PDF file using Adobe Acrobat X, text and photographs have always lost sharpness and accuracy compared to the original version of the word.

  Is there a a way to improve it using Acrobat please or is this a word problem?

  Please convert the Word file in format PDF of Acrobat itself once the changes below.

  Menu-> Preferences Edition-> convert to PDF-> MS Word-> change the settings from-> high quality printing.

• Best way to import text Microsoft Word?

  Newbie question. I was importing Microsoft Word text using the Clipboard. In other words, I'm going to open up Microsoft Word, open my document, all select, copy and then go to InDesign and paste. InDesign me give a block of text with my text and I just resize the columns. The text is available in all weird, and I have to Stylize, of course. Sometimes I get some junk as nonbreaking characters and other hidden characters that screw me until I tell me what happens. My question is: what is the best way to import Microsoft Word text that will introduce mistakes least? Thank you.

  Much better way to do this is to save your text as Doc, Docx or RTF. And use the file > command place in indesign to bring it. And if you check the Import Options in the same window where you choose a file, you can decide how you want to place your text - formatted, unformatted etc...

• How to transfer text from microsoft word in the body of the email without errors in the form.

  Whenever I try to copy and paste a document in the body of an e-mail (in hotmail) the result is that hotmail changes the formatting of it.   -You have two entries in the start menu for Microsoft Word? One is Microsoft Windows Word 2010 (2) and the other is Microsoft Word 2010 Microsoft Office on the start menu?

  -Is this Microsoft Word 2010 (2) successfully opened?

  -This happens to you with other programs in the list?

  If there are two icons for Microsoft Word 2010 on the Start menu, remove the icon of Windows of Microsoft Word 2010 (2).

  All you have to do is click on Microsoft Word 2010 (2) and click on remove from this list.

  This seems to be only a Microsoft Word 2010 shortcut added to the list of the start menu.

• Photosmart 8150 disorder - Microsoft Word print black, everything is RED

  My printer prints ONLY red in all programs except Microsoft Word. It prints only red in PowerPoint, Excel, Preview (PDF format) and Web pages. I tried out the color cartridge and having only one black; pages through the printer and come out blank. I tried to do black and white or grayscale settings, and it still comes out red. I cleaned the cartridges and printed tons of test pages. The test pages are always correct.

  I spent hours combing internet for more information about printing HP Photosmart 8150 in red by default in all programs EXCEPT Microsoft Word, but I have not found anything. I talked to Tech Support Applecare and we have reinstalled the printer driver, reset the printer to my Macbook settings and still cannot solve the problem. They told me to contact HP. I've had the printer for almost 5 years so it is old.

  If anyone can help please respond. I'm on Mac OS 10.5.8 with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

  I think it's a software problem.

  Let's start with a reset of the print system:

  -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
  -Right (Ctrl) click the box of the print queue and select Reset Printing System.
  -Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  If this does not work, uninstall the HP software like this:

  Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
  Click on continue
  Highlight your device in the left pane
  Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall
  There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
  Click on continue and let it finish

  Now run a software update.

  Finally, reinstall the software from here.

  After a conversion from PDF to Word, you can download the converted file locally on your computer.

  You can then select the "Enable editing" button and then remove images/texts or make any other changes.

• Paste from Microsoft Word into Adobe Illustrator... problem

  Hello gang, I am a professional Letterer drawn and I recently decided to upgrade using TextEdit to use Microsoft Word for all of my copy paste script that I have to do.

  In TextEdit, when I copy a page from a comic script it will be then paste into Adobe Illustrator beautifully. Retains formatting very well and line breaks (can't remember makes bold or in italics, but good). However, when I paste from the Word version of the same script, all line breaks disapear, leaving me with a big block of text, making it difficult for me to easily find the dialogue used in the page.

  Does anyone have a solution for this? Is this a known problem with Word? I can't find anything on the net.

  I'm using Word 11 for Mac version 14.2.1 I think it's and Adobe Illustrator CS3 for Mac.

  When I tried to place a 12-page Word doc in Illustrator CS5, similarly said John_Danek, I could see a small sign on the bottom right of the text box. If you double-click this text box, you can see page 2 of the doc. Similarly, you can view all the pages of your Word document in Illie.

  OR

  Register your content in a PDF and then place the PDF in Illustrtaor. This will help you retain formatting as well as allows you to select the page numbers in your document that you want to place.
