  Hi all!

  I'm back in LabVIEW, after only a few years and I cannot understand, what at first sight seems to be a simple problem!

  All I want to do is have a while loop in which, for the purposes of illustration, I have the 'random number from 0-1' function on the inside, and I want to be able to pause and resume this help from a button. There are a few other posts on the forum that are very similar and do use "event structures. The problem I encounter is that I can get the genarator random number to start the generation but the break will not stop this!

  I have the feeling that I made a stupid mistake - but I can't understand or google my way out the problem! I enclose my solution so far!

  I am creating a module and would like a pause and resume button. In this way the user looks at a module be able to suspend and then be able to click on the button to view the module where they left (similar to the Conrol + P when you CREATE a piece in Authorware). The training module will consist of a timer (wait icon), so if they do not click on the pause button it will continue on the next page.

  You don't want to pause and resume the while loop.

  You want a part of your program to suspend and resume.

  You can make a machine to States in which break do not run your code and resume starts executing your code you are. Change of use part to hold your data.

  Another thing if you just want to implement the pause and resume you can use events with value-1 timeout and some time.

  I have an application where I need to generate a waveform of a fixed frequency (~ 200 kHz) and the amplitude, but for differing them burst lengths and different lengths of time between bursts. These bursts and these delays are controlled by a line of DIO to generate the relaxing break. I also need to have the output voltage analog voltage controlled between bursts of waveform.   I don't think there is a way to establish a certain level on the analog output, based on a relaxing break.  I watch using a redeclenchables task analog output and do every hour of beginning to the required voltage.

  I am new to AS3 and animate CC. I'm not a programmer. I learn how the code I want (from YouTube and various web sources). I put the next set of various web tutorial. What I'm trying to do is create a user input field and input variable which will set the number of new text fields created by a loop for. Then store the text fields in a table to access their values to use elsewhere. The problem is, I don't know how to access the values of the input fields created in the table.  The loop for works to create the new text entry fields, I do not know how to retrieve their values.  In fact, I don't know even if the text that I entered new fields is currently stored in the table. I think that the text field itself, as an object, is stored but not the text I enter the text field (which is what I want).  I hope someone can help me...

  You can do in PSE.

  1. Do the math to see how much space you'll need on your canvas to the image and text.
  2. Navigate to the file queue > new.blank. Enter the width & height, background color, resolution 72 px / in. It is your canvas, and in the layers palette will be the background layer.
  3. Copy and paste the image. It turns on a separate layer
  4. Activate the tool move, position the image and resize if necessary
  5. Activate the text tool, and then type your text. It will be on a separate so layer
  6. Position the text.
  7. Flatten layers and go to file > save for web. I'm usually on the long side about 800 px. Don't forget to check "constrain proportions". Adjust the quality slider to suit. You will probably want the type of JPEG file for web work.
