  Unfortunately, the pen tool is only in full Photoshop, not in any version of the EP. The closest is the text on the custom path tool, which has a kind of rudimentary pen tool to create the path where you want to place the text.

  I'm not able to add text to pictures.  I can click on the text tool and drag to insert a box, but no blinking cursor appears.  If I type my text, for example 'Beka', the layer is given this name, but the text does not appear.  So far I have tried:

  • make the text larger or smaller (to make sure it wasn't just a problem whether at small/large to see)
  • change the color of the text to ensure that it didn't mix with the background

  Any ideas would be appreciated.

  My tool suddenly stopped working.

  If I try to put some text, it seems to work in what I see a bounding box and all that.

  But I do not see the type itself.

  And nuance in the control panel Gets a "?" to place a color.

  I reinstalled Photoshop CS4 and it still occurs.

  I often use an image unique background (a map) and then add multiple layers of arrow shapes and text to serve as a section for presentations of travel titles.

  Once I did two or three layers of different type, the tool just closes.

  It will not create a new layer and if I make a new layer, and then click the text tool, the bar appears but it is very small and no type will appear when I enter the text.

  I have to go back to zero, start an entirely new document or restart PS to get the tool text to start working again.

  Any ideas what is happening?

  Before accession CC, I had Ai CS5 and PS CS5. I just signed up for Cloud Creative, and I need InDesign. Since download Id CC, the tool does not work in Ai CS5 or Id CC. PS, if I try to create a text box, I get an error: "could not complete your request because something prevented the text initializing engine." When I uninstall Id, everything works fine. (My version CS5, that is).

  I hope it's a simple solution-miracle, but talk to help Adobe online has not helped. Not sure if the guy knew something. I can't find information about this problem, anywhere. I need Id as soon as possible. It is useless without type.

  So, I uninstalled InDesign CC, and everything works fine.

  There is something to do with CC which becomes twisted. The good news is, I discovered that I have InDesign CS5, just didn't know it. So, for now, I'll use that. But, I hope this is resolved so I can possibly get CC.

  We just installed a new Netgear Prosafe 16 port switch.  We use a wired Linksys router.

  With 10 computers on the network, XP can't see XP or 7.  And sees only 7 other 7 computers.

  We are able to ping to all computers.  All computers have access to the Internet.

  Network neighborhood shows computers only 7 to 7.  XP doesn't show anything.

  First of all what you have installed 'Runtime Environment' for Oracle APEX 5.0 and 'Runtime Environment' has no GUI as in "Development Environment". 'Runtime environment' has GUI access only for applications deployed in it.

• I can't use my cd/dvd drive. It will let me play cd, dvd or burn CDs. I am not tech savvy at all, so be as specific as possible with answers and use terms laymens.

  Thank you for your message.  You are not able to play any CD or DVD, or is this just happening with one?  If it's just one, it could be that the disc may be scratched or damaged.  So what happens with all DVDs, click HERE and then run the FixIt!.  Please let us know if it did or did not help to solve your problem.
